Background: Anterior shoulder dislocation is one of the commonest dislocation of our body. We here by introduce a simple, safe, successful and easily reproducible “Chennai Handshake Technique” to relocate anterior dislocation of shoulder joint. Methods: This method was performed by a single surgeon on sixty cases (51 males, 9 females) of anterior shoulder dislocation with a mean age of 38 years (18 to 58 years) between 2008 to 2013 in tertiary care center. Among sixty patients, there were 12 cases (20%) of fresh dislocation and 48 cases (80%) of recurrent dislocation. It comprises of holding the hand in a classical double shake position and then giving a gentle longitudinal traction (stage I) followed with slow abduction and external rotation of arm (stage II), thus reducing the shoulder dislocation. Vertical oscillation may be a part of stage II in some cases before the external rotation. Results: The index time of patient presenting to the casualty ranged from one hour to 18hrs with a mean of 4.45 hrs. The reduction time ranged  from 1 to 16 min with a mean of  5.6 min. 17 dislocations (28.3%) were reduced  during stage I. 41 dislocations (68.3%) were reduced during stage II. 5 dislocations (12.1%) needed vertical oscillation during stage II. we failed in two cases (3.3%).Conclusions: No need of assistant, no need of anesthesia, no complications makes this technique, a more look back one

Nowadays, polymer matrix composite plays a vital role in automotive, aerospace and marine engineering. The epoxy composite was prepared using the hand layup method in room temperature. The reinforcement of ceramic/graphite with epoxy resin composite is to improve the mechanical properties like impact strength and hardness. The tensile strength, compression strength, impact strength and hardness of mixtures of epoxy resin and ceramic powder and graphite (granite powder) were reported. The sample consists of mixtures with percentage weights of 70 % epoxy resin with 28 % ceramic and 2 % graphite, where the epoxy resin (ly556) was the majority phase; the hardener (hy951) was used as catalyst. The material is tested to obtain the hardness, compression strength, tensile strength and impact strength.

Among the natural sources, plant origin drugs constitute around 25% which includes various secondary metabolites such as bioflavonoids, alkaloids, terpenes, saponins, glucosides, and lignans. The bioflavonoids belonging to the polyphenol group shows many beneficial effects like hepatoprotective, antioxidant, antibacterial, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and antiviral. The main objective of this article is to collectively present the research data published worldwide about the anticancer activity of bioflavonoids by loading them in novel formulations. Thus, the present review explored the novel formulations of the bioflavonoids with improved pharmacokinetic properties along with the enhanced anticancer activity. The major drawback with bioflavonoids is its poor solubility and bioavailability, which restricts the usage of bioflavonoids in the treatment of cancer in the market worldwide. Novel drug delivery system seems to possess many benefits like site-specific drug delivery along with minimal side effects and improves pharmaceutical and therapeutic properties of drugs compared to a conventional dosage form of bioflavonoids. The scope for improvement of anticancer activity of bioflavonoids by incorporating in novel pharmaceutical formulations like nanoparticles is very high, and it has to be considered as a potential area of research

The objective is to develop a two degree of freedom model with PID controller for turning process to reduce regenerative chatter with the aim of improving productivity, quality of surface finish, tool life and reducing environmental noise caused by chatter. A system model consists of a workpiece subsystem and a cutting tool subsystem. The workpiece subsystem consists of mass, stiffness and damper. The cutting tool subsystem consists of mass, stiffness and damper. A Piezo actuator and sensor was embedded into the tool holder. A Mechatronic system has been proposed and developed for reducing tool vibration in lathe tool during machining. It consists of electrical and mechanical components; the controller is designed to control the chatter that occurs between the tool and the workpiece. The controller is used to send a feedback to the actuator. The controller is designed so that it suppresses the settling time and dampens the tool. The effective cutting stiffness and effective cutting damping are modeled as a spring and damper during machining. The original response of the system is modeled using transfer function method. Their output responses were obtained using Mat lab software

Fly ash particle reinforced with aluminium alloy composite materials used for various industrial applications like automobile, aerospace, aircrafts, substrate in electronics, turbine blades, brake pads, golf clubs and it is also used in home products. Metal matrix composites (MMCs) are increased mechanical properties like strength, yield strength, hardness, impact strength and to improve fracture toughness when compared to unreinforced alloys. The main aim is to fabrication of Al6061/Fly ash, Boron carbide, Graphite, and also Magnesium metal matrix composite by using stir casting process and also study the mechanical properties of the fabricated composite material. Fly ashes with aluminium, composite materials are good mechanical and physical properties for very high temperature, resistant to wear and lowest weight applications. Aluminium composite preparing from liquid phase reaction present a unique microstructure. The each phase is a continuous network penetrated by the network of the other constituent. It is an increased composites containing lowest cost expensive and lowest density reinforcements. The fly is very less expensive and very low density reinforced in solid waste by the product during combustion of coal in thermal power plants. Hence, fly ashes with aluminium composites reinforcement are to overcome the cost expensive for wide applications in automotive ancillaries, aircrafts, turbine blades and also engine applications. In future we add the graphite, boron carbide and magnesium with Al6061 & Fly ash to produce other metal matrix composites.Keywords- Fly ash; Wear resistant; Metal–matrix composites (MMCs); Casting; Particle-reinforcement
