The subjects that participated in this study were 36 Hispanic children who attended Head Start Programs. The participants were 4 and 5 year olds from four classrooms. An intervention, training of parents regarding literacy activities was implemented in the study to determine the outcome of parental involvement on oral language development. This researcher implemented parental training prior to the treatment. Parents were to provide their children with oral language intervention for fifteen to twenty minutes, three times a week. These activities took place at the children\u27s home from March through June of 2004. Children\u27s oral language development was determined using the LAP-D assessment. Results from the LAP-D were taken into account for the purpose of comparison and indicate that parental involvement impacted oral language development positively in the subjects who received the treatment

This paper provides an analysis of the convergence process in the development of the telecommunication sector and evaluates its impact on market structure and policy in Telecommunication and Information Technologies (ICT), in order to identify sensitive regulatory issues and some aspects that have not yet been discussed in depth. Regulatory models have responded to the challenges raised by the market and technological development, but models that can anticipate innovations are still required. Thus, the need arises for a new generation of regulation that can generate synergies to harmonize the regulations that govern the sector’s industries, and to assess the impact of policies on social, economic and cultural rights associated with the ubiquity of networks and information.regulation and industrial policy, technological change government policy

Pythium aphanidermatum has a cosmopolitan distribution in the warmer parts of the world. The aim of this study was to identify the causal agent of damping off in soybean seedlings on late planting dates under hot conditions, from different locations in Buenos Aires province. The isolates induced different levels of plant and seedling death and growth rate at different incubation temperatures (15, 25 and 35ºC). In accordance with morphological, cultural and molecular characteristics, the pathogen was identified as P. aphanidermatum, and this is the first report of this oomycete causing soybean root and stem rot in Buenos Aires province, Argentina. Highlights Pythium aphanidermatum was recovered from commercial fields of different localities from northern Buenos Aires province and southern Entre Rios province. Temperatures of 35 ºC constitute predisposing conditions and caused the higher percentage of dead seedlings and at temperatures of 15 ºC P. aphanidermatum did not affect the seedlings, being almost not pathogenic at this temperature.Pythium aphanidermatum has a cosmopolitan distribution in the warmer parts of the world. We present the case of a 56-year-old male patient with a history of atrial flutter for six months; he was admitted to the hospital for presenting a mass of 8 cm in maximum diameter in the right atrium, which prolapsed through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. Emergency surgery was scheduled, performing exeresis of the tumor and tricuspid annuloplasty. The Pathological anatomy determined that the removed mass corresponded to a cardiac lipoma.

This article presents the results of conducted research in children’s diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy (CP) associated with Severe Mental Retardation (RMs) assigned for this purpose interviews, surveys aimed at parents and staff FUDISE (Parent Foundation of Special Education Center) and a sensory format applied before and after a multisensory process, which determines the relation of this to learning. By considering the work done and the score achieved in the areas sensoperceptive is evidenced, despite the damage to motor and cognitive severe type presented by children’s, there was a slight increase in learning more difficulty recording proprioceptive approach because that severity is a limiting motor movement, posture and response.
