    The delivery of education has improved over time by using the IT enabled services, especially in the higher education institutes. The role of the IT enabled services to disseminate effective teaching has increased over time and still improving with a great pace with emerging needs of the students and the teachers. This research paper is focused to identify and investigate the quality of IT enabled services in the higher education institutes in Saudi Arabia. The study was conducted at two model higher education institutions from public and private sector. Mixed research method has been used to attain the information and to identify the convergence of the information. It was identified that the quality of IT enabled services in better in the public sector institution ascompared to the private sector institution

The range of impact is diversified in nature and massive in scale. Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) have emerged over time in many disciplines. ITES are becoming increasingly prevalent in the global economy. Due to the growing importance of ITES Service Science has emerged as a fundamental area in Information Systems (IS) research and it combines technical and managerial knowledge under the umbrella of the more popular interdisciplinary approach of Service Science Management and Engineering (SSME). Along with the emergence of the ITES the question to measure the quality has also arisen. The measurement of ITES quality in different areas requires different factors to be considered. This paper addresses the identification of the factors for measuring the quality of ITES in higher education institutes in Saudi Arabia.     Dural closure at the end of cranial surgery is considered an extremely important step to maintain anatomical continuity, separate the intradural space with the extradural one, and to prevent possible complications related to cerebrospinal fluid leak. Wherein its usefulness in posterior fossa craniotomy is established, many surgeons do not perform it routinely in supratentorial craniotomies, citing unnecessary delay and lack of evidence supporting it. Herein, we have reviewed the data to find evidence in support of watertight suture based dural closures compared to other dural closure techniques, in supratentorial craniotomies

    Undermining alienative commitment through spiritual leadership: a moderated mediation model of social capital and political skill

    PurposeThe purpose of the present study is to examine the relationship between spiritual leadership and employees' alienative commitment to the organization, both directly and indirectly, via employee social capital. We also test the role of employee political skill as a boundary condition of the indirect spiritual leadership–alienative commitment link.Design/methodology/approachTime-lagged data were collected from 491 employees in various manufacturing and service organizations. Data were analyzed using structural modeling equation in Mplus (8.6).FindingsSpiritual leadership was negatively associated with alienative commitment, both directly and indirectly, via social capital. Employee political skill moderated the indirect relationship between spiritual leadership and alienative commitment, such that the relationship was stronger when employee political skill was high (vs low).Practical implicationsThe demonstration of spiritual leadership's behaviors by both managers and employees can develop employees' social capital at work, which in turn can reduce employees' negative commitment to the organization. Likewise, improving employees' political skills can help leadership diminish alienative commitment.Originality/valueThe present work contributes to the literature on spiritual leadership by foregrounding how and why spiritual leadership undermines employee alienative commitment to the organization. By doing so, the study also enhances the nomological networks of the antecedents and outcomes of social capital and contributes to the scant literature on negative alienative commitment. Given the prevalence and negative repercussions of alienative commitment for employees' and organizations' productivity and performance, our findings are timely and relevant

    Characterization of the Inlet Port Flow under Steady-State Conditions Using PIV and POD

    The current study demonstrates an experimental investigation of the tumble flow structures using Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) under steady-state conditions considering the central vertical tumble plane. The experiments were carried out on a four-valve, pent-roof Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine head at different valve lifts and with a pressure difference of 150 mmH2O across the intake valves. Furthermore, the Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) analytical technique was applied to PIV-measured velocity vector maps to characterize the flow structures at various valve lifts, and hence the different rig tumble values. The results show that at low valve lifts (1 to 5 mm), 48.9 to 46.6% of the flow energy is concentrated in the large (mode 1) eddies with only 8.4 to 11.46% in mode 2 and 7.2 to 7.5 in mode 3. At high valve lifts, it can be clearly seen that some of the energy in the large eddies of mode 1 is transferred to the smaller flow structures of modes 2 and 3. This can be clearly seen at valve lift 10 mm where the values of the flow energy were 40.6%, 17.3%, and 8.0% for modes 1, 2, and 3, respectively

    Analysis of Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) for Energy Efficiency in Wireless Sensor Networks

    Rapid growth of wireless sensor networks (WSN) in recent times has resulted in greater security requirements. One of the primary concerns in wireless sensor networks is energy efficiency and security mechanisms are no different.  Currently, security in wireless sensor networks is often implemented by symmetric key cryptography due to its low-power implementation. Public Key Cryptography (PKC), on the other hand, is advantageous as it requires less overhead information during transmission of packets that ultimately lessens overall size of the protocol. In addition, Public Key Cryptography provides better data confidentiality and authentication in wireless sensor networks. In this study, we focus on Public Key Cryptography for greater efficiency in key distribution, low protocol overhead and efficient hardware implementation on the sensor nodes. Considering the constraints of energy efficient wireless sensor networks, we analyze and compare some well known Public Key algorithms, their implementation in wireless sensor networks, and how these algorithms can benefit the fundamental security services. We also evaluate energy consumption parameters for encryption as well as data transmission and suggest energy efficient encryption mechanisms
