In Islamic law the act of forest burning is prohibited by syara', hence the rules on penal sanctions against the perpetrators is regulated in it. In this thesis there exists two problematics: how the law enforcement against forest burning crime to clear the land for new plantation in the perspective of Indonesian Law is and how the law enforcement against the forest burning crime to clear the land for new plantation in the perspective of Islamic law is. Researcher uses juridical normative method in the form of inventorizing positive law, as well as discovery (legal) in concreto which is feasible to complete a particular case. Law enforcement against forest burning has been regulated in the Act of Environmental Protection and Management ranging from administrative law enforcement means, a means of civil law enforcement and criminal law enforcement means. On the other hand, the forest fire arsonists are regulated in the category of jarimah ta'zir in Islamic law, where its provisions are submitted to the authorities (ulil amri) which in this case is The Judge

Konsep recidive atau recidive yang tertuang dalam Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) mаsuk dаlаm kategori yаng dаpаt memberаtkаn pidаnа dаn penаmbаhаn hukumаn.

Effectiveness of pre-procedural rinsing with essential oils-based mouthrinse to reduce aerosol contamination of periodontitis patients

    Get PDF
This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of pre-procedural rinsing using essential oils-mouthwash (Listerine®) in reducing bioaerosol contamination in a dental clinic. Thirty (30) subjects who consisted of those receiving treatment for periodontitis problems were randomly assigned to rinse with either 20 mL of Listerine® or 20 mL of placebo as control rinse. Every subject was instructed to gargle using the rinse for 1 min. Microbial samples of environmental air and saliva were collected before and after the rinse. All samples were further analyzed for total plate counts to measure the microbial level. Rinsing using Listerine® showed significant reduction in the level of microbial load in saliva compared to the control mouthrinses. Analysis done at three defined distance intervals from the operating site showed the level of bioaerosol contamination was highest at distance nearest to the treatment point of 1 ft. Based on counts of cfu, there was higher presence of microbial contaminant in bioaerosols of the control-rinsed group compared to the test-rinsed group using Listerine®. Therefore, it can be concluded that rinsing using Listerine® was effective towards reducing the microorganisms in saliva and oral cavity in general

Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) Integrations for Decision Making Purposes: A Review

    Get PDF
Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is generally used as decision making purpose. However, AHP provides a single numerical number. As the method can only yield binary decisions of either “yes” or “no”, the method is not compatible when the decision has uncertainties. Consequently, previous researchers have fused AHP with fuzzy to process alternatives with uncertainty judgment. In this paper, fundamental knowledge of separate tool was reviewed. Fundamental of both fuzzy and AHP were also  summarized in this article. The next phase of this paper was to split the types of FAHP namely to determine the relative weight and the rank or score. Two methods were utilized under FAHP to determine relative weight ; triangular and trapezoidal FAHP. Next type of FAHP was to determine the score of each alternative often carried out after triangular or trapezoidal FAHP. The second types of FAHP were Fuzzy TOPSIS, and VIKOR. These FAHPs were explained and steps to carry out were presented in this paper. In conclusion, all types of FAHP are compared in terms of computational time, number of steps and level of difficulty

Brucella infection in animals is considered a great problem in most countries of the world. Our study designed to determine the prevalence of brucella in field animal’s milk in Dhamar governorate, Yemen. Total of 808 raw milk samples from non-aborted field animals, 120 milk samples from aborted animals, and 30 pasteurized milk samples were teste by Milk-Ring Test (MRT), milk-ELISA test, isolation and identification of brucella species, and antibiotic susceptibility. The prevalence of brucella in milk samples from field animals was 0.8%, 2.6%, and 2% in cows, sheep, and goat milk samples respectively with MRT, and 0.8%, 1.3% and 1.6% in cows, sheep and goat milk samples respectively with the milk- ELISA test. The prevalence rate in milk samples from aborted animals was 33%, 64% and 41.2% with the MRT and 39%, 49%, and 41.2% in cows, sheep and goats respectively with the milk-ELISA test. All pasteurized milk samples were negative for the milk-ELISA test. The result of isolation showed 0.1% of Brucella in milk samples from field animals while 9.2% from aborted animals. All isolates of Brucella species were sensitivities to rifampicin, doxycycline, kanamycin, gentamicin, streptomycin, tetracycline, and ciprofloxacin, while resistant to ampicillin, erythromycin, and novobiocin. In conclusion, the high prevalence of milk brucella especially in aborted animals needs focusing and build controlling strategies plans to decrease the losses to the economy and avoid transferred to humans with unpasteurized milk consumption
