Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan Terhadap Tingkat Kepuasan Masyarakat Pada Kantor Imigrasi Bengkalis
This research aims to determine the immigration office services providing services to the community and how much influence the quality of immigration office services on the level of community satisfaction. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population in this research amounted to 21613 people. While sampling uses the Slovin formula with convenience sampling technique so that a sample of 100 people is obtained. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires and literature studies. The results of this research are that the service at the Bengkalis Immigration Office has been well fulfilled based on the determination of the central government. Then the service quality of Bengkalis Immigration Office has a significant effect on the level of community satisfaction with a percentage of influence of 68.6% and the remaining 31.4% is influenced by other variables
Bank selection criteria employed by undergraduates in Malaysia / Shahreena Daud, Zarinah Abu Yazid and Nur Asyira Naziron
Banking industry in Malaysia are now providing a wide range of services and investing a large amount of money in marketing strategies and promotional activities in order to attract and retain customer. In this competitive market, it is imperative that banks be aware of the factors or determinants that their customer consider important when selecting a bank. This study will investigate the selection criteria employed by undergraduates in UiTM Melaka, how these criteria are prioritized according to their importance and also to examine the different of bank selection criteria among gender. In analyzing the data, this study relied on 30 selection factors from Almossawi (2001) and used Varimax rotation factor as a tools. The result from the survey on 207 undergraduates indicated that they ranked 24 hours availability of ATM ( Automated teller machine) service as the most important criteria, meanwhile banks open during Friday prayer was given the lowest ranking. Based from gender, male indicated that availability of ATM in several locations as the most important criteria while female indicated that 24 hours availability of ATM service as the most important determinant too. Both gender agreed that bank opens during Friday prayer was the lowest ranking. Seven factors group were developed from factor analysis. Since undergraduates are among the potential customer for bank industry, it is recommended that banks should focus on financial benefits, location and facilities as their strategies in order to attract new customer. Furthermore, recommendation for future research have also been put forth in this study
Personal financial behavior among students: the case of UiTM Melaka / Zarinah Abu Yazid, Shahreena Daud and Nur Asyira Naziron
Financial management is very important to secure a good quality of life. People must plan for long-term investments for their retirement and children's education. They must decide on short-term savings and borrowing for a vacation, a down payment for a house and a car loan. Therefore, to make a good financial decision, we must have a proper financial planning and basically we need to start at a young age. Due to this, a study on personal financial behavior among students at Universiti Teknologi MARA Melaka was undertaken. The purpose of this paper is to highlight the impact of two independent variables (financial knowledge and financial attitude) on the dependent variable, personal financial behavior. Questionnaires were used to collect data and 143 students were involved as respondents. The collected data was then will be analyzed by using SPSS 20. Findings revealed that financial knowledge and financial attitude are significant predictors of students' personal financial behavior and it was concluded that financial knowledge has the most impact on the students' personal financial behavior. Recommendations for future research have also been put forth in this paper
Dimensi dan kesan gangguan seksual pelajar university
Tujuan kajian ini dijalankan untuk memahami dimensi gangguan seksual dan juga kesan yang diperoleh daripada gangguan seksual dalam kalangan pelajar universiti. Kajian ini telah menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kes. Seramai tujuh orang pelajar yang mengalami gagguan seksual telah dijadikan sebagai peserta kajian. Data yang telah dikumpul telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Sebanyak empat tema keseluruhan bagi kesan gangguan seksual yang dirasai oleh mangsa gangguan seksual pelajar universiti. Antara tema bagi dimensi gangguan seksual yang telah dibentuk ialah (a) gangguan dari segi lisan, bukan lisan, visual dan perbuatan, (b) tingkah laku yang mengganggu emosi dan mental, (c) perbuatan yang menyebabkan orang lain tidak selesa, dan (d) perlakuan lucah yang tidak direlakan. Seterusnya, tema bagi kesan gangguan seksual yang telah dikenal pasti ialah (a) trauma, (b) takut terhadap peristiwa yang lalu, (c) kesan emosi marah, dan (d) kemurungan. Kajian ini membolehkan golongan mahasiswa, golongan pendidik, institusi keluarga dan masyarakat memahami mengenai dimensi dan kesan gangguan seksual. Selain itu, kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberi gambaran awal berkaitan isu gangguan seksual terutama mangsa yang terlibat dalam masalah gangguan seksual. Langkah dan cabaran yang dihadapi dan turut dibincangkan di akhir penulisan ini untuk pengkaji di masa yang akan datang dapat menjalankan kajian dalam bidang psikologi khususnya isu yang berkaitan dengan gangguan seksual pelajar universiti
