RANCANGAN DAN PENERAPAN PROMOSI MELALUI MEDIA SOSIAL (INSTAGRAM) DI RUANG BACA VOKASI

Maraknya penggunaan media jejaring sosial instagram di kalangan masyarakat modern khususnya di kalangan remaja menjadikan media jejaring sosial tersebut sangat populer saat ini. Salah satu pemanfaatan teknologi informasi di perpustakaan yaitu dengan menggunakan media sosial untuk berbagai kepentingan perpustakaan. Media sosial merupakan alat, jasa dan komunikasi yang memfasilitasi hubungan antara orang satu dengan lainnya serta memiliki kepentingan atau ketertarikan yang sama. Maka dari itu ruang baca vokasi menggunakan media sosial instagram sebagai jasa komunikasi dengan penggunanya yang tiada lain adalah mahasiswa vokasi. Target dalam promosi ini adalah meningkatnya jumlah pengikut Instagram Ruang Baca Vokasi, suka, komen, dan penggunaan hashtag (#ruangbacavokasi). 

PENERAPAN STORY TELLING DAN INSTAGRAM: OPTIMALISASI LAYANAN PERPUSTAKAAN KELILING DI DINAS KEARSIPAN DAN PERPUSTAKAAN KABUPATEN KEDIRI

The application of story telling in the Mobile Library of the Archives and Library Service (Disarpus) of Kediri Regency was conducted from February 2018 – March 2018 which was divided into four cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. At each meeting, researchers used the same story, namely stories of fables and different in each cycle with an increase of approximately two to five children per-cycle. To promote of the mobile library services, the instition used Instagram. The research results showed that the Archives and Library Service (Disarpus) of Kediri Regency has exceeded the target achievement of Instagram as a promotional media, in its application it is divided into five cycles, each cycle carried out for one week. Instagram promotions are conducted to the first cycle to the fifth cycle there is an increase from 116 to 200 followers; the achievement of likes to occur from cycle I – cycle III, from 372 to 798 likes while from cycle III until V there is not change

How EFL Teachers Deal with Pedagogical Competence Development for the Teaching of Writing: A Study on Higher Educational Level in Indonesian Context

This study investigates what has been done by EFL teachers in higher education level or EFL lecturers in the teaching of writing. This study involves seven research subjects who have taught writing for English Department students for at least three years. The data were collected through in-depth interview. The data were then analyzed through open, axial, and selective coding. In relation to development of teaching techniques for teaching writing, the most frequent activity done by the research subjects is to attend workshop and seminar/conference on writing and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). The most frequent activity conducted to improve pedagogical competence on material development for writing class is to read literature or article on materials development for writing class from textbook or the internet. As an addition, the most frequent activity the lecturers conducted to develop their pedagogical competence in classroom management is conduct sharing session with fellow and/or senior lecturers. Finally, the most frequent activities the lecturers conducted to improve their pedagogical competence in assessment/evaluation for writing are to read literature or article on ‘assessment/evaluation for writing class’ from textbook, journal, thesis, dissertation, and the internet, and conduct sharing session with fellow and senior writing lecturers and expert in writing. FFuture researchers can develop this study into pedagogical competence in the other English skills (reading, speaking, listening) or other types of competence pivotal for English lecturers (personal, social, and professional). These will have a positive contribution toward development of English as Foreign Language in Indonesian context

ANALISIS FAKTOR FISIKA PENYEBAB KERUSAKAN KOLEKSI CETAK DI PERPUSTAKAAN UMUM KABUPATEN MALANG

The majority of library materials are in printed form. The printed collection generally made of cellulose paper which is influenced by various factors. The physical factor is a factor that affects the damage of library materials such as temperature, humidity, light, and dust. Public Library of Malang Regency is a library that has printed collection of more than 25.000 copies and most of it is in damaged condition. The damage in the collection such as dusty, moldy, and crumpled conditions. In this experiment, light and dust were observed in the library room and collection. Furthermore, temperature and humidity were measured by a thermohygrometer. Based on the experimental result obtained that dust attach both in collection and bookshelf. The source of light in the library comes from sunshine and lamp. The daily temperature average in this library is 27.4oC and the humidity is 65%RH. This value is higher than the required condition which is temperature of 19°C-23°C and humidity of 40-50%RH.    

PENINGKATAN PRODUKTIVITAS TERNAK POTONG MELALUI PENYEDIAAN PAKAN FERMENTASI DAN PENCEGAHAN PENGENDALIAN PENYAKIT MULUT DAN KUKU DI KELOMPOK TANI SAPAKEK BASAMO KOTA SOLOK

Sapakek Basamo adalah satu kelompok tani ternak yang berada di Rimbo Berantai Kelurahan Tanah Garam Kecamatan Lubuk Sikarah Kota Solok yang berdiri sejak tahun 2019. Jenis usaha yang dijalankan adalah pegembangan usaha ternak sapi pembibitan dan penggemukan sapi potong unggul jenis Simmental. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tani ternak selama ini adalah masih rendahnya ketersediaan pakan yang berkualitas serta rendahnya ilmu pengetahuan tentang upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit pada ternak sapi baik pada kelompok sapi pembibitan maupun sapi penggemukan. Umumnya pemberian pakan berupa hijauan rumput lapangan, jerami padi dan ampas tahu, hal ini menunjukkan rendahnya kualitas pakan yang diberikan dan menyebabkan pengembangan sapi bibit dan sapi penggemukan berjalan lambat. Pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diberikan penyuluhan ilmu pengetahuan terutama tentang penyediaan pakan berupa tehnologi pakan fermentasi dan upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penaykit mulut dan kuku yang sedang mewabah pada saat ini.  Metode yang dipakai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa metoda penyuluhan/ceramah  dan diskusi bersama anggota kelompok tani ternak. Dari hasil pengabdian ini anggota kelompok tani ternak sangat antusias mengikut kegiatan penyuluhan dan berdiskusi langsung bersama tim pengabdian. Tehnologi penyediaan pakan ternak dengan fermentasi sudah dipahami begitu juga pentingnya upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit mulut dan kuku pada ternak. Peternak mengharapkan sekali untuk dilaksanakan kegiatan vaksinasi PMK oleh pihak terkait sebagai upaya pencegahan PMK

PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH ORGANIK RUMAH TANGGA DALAM RANSUM UNTUK PENINGKATAN PERFORMA AYAM KAMPUNG

Limbah organik dari rumah dapat dikelola dan dimanfaatkan untuk membuat bahan pakan ternak. Salah satu ternak yang dapat memanfaatkan limbah organic rumah tangga ini adalah ayam kampung. Salahsatu kelompok tani yang menjalankan usaha ternak ayam kampung dikota Solok adalah Kelompok tani “Sadar Gawan”. Kelompok tani ini beranggotakan 43 orang, yang beberapa waktu yang lalu baru menerima bantuan ayam kampung sebanyak 500 ekor dari pemerintah daerah kota Solok. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra saat ini adalah semakin meningkatnya biaya pakan ternak unggas, di akibatkan beberapa bahan pakan masih bersaing dengan kebutuhan manusia. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM adalah melatih peternak ayam kampung untuk memanfaatkan limbah organik rumah tangga menjadi ransum bernutrisi yang dapat meningkatkan produksi. Luaran kegiatan PKM selain menyebarluaskan keterampilan membuat pakan ternak secara mandiri bagi masyarakat umum dan peternak kecil, juga meningkatkan kemampuan ayam bertelur setiap hari secara rutin yang selanjutnya meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesehatan masyarakat terkait. Metode yang digunakan dalam PKM ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, demonstasi/pelatihan dan pendampingan. Dari hasil PKM didapatkan 65,63% dari anggota kelompok sangat mengerti dengan materi yang dijelaskan; 78,13% sudah menerapkan secara kontiniu formulasi ransum dari limbah organic rumah tangga; terjadi penurunan harga pakan sebesar Rp.3.650,00 dan terjadi peningkatan jumlah ternak bertelur dari 189 ekor menjadi 220 ekor; dan peningkatan rata-rata jumlah telur dari 188 butir/hari menjadi 217 butir/hari

EVALUASI PROGRAM CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PROGRAM BANK SAMPAH DELIMA PADA PT PERTAMINA EP ASSET 4 FIELD CEPU

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi Program Corporate Social Responsibility, PT Pertamina EP Asset 4 Field Cepu dengan program CSR Bank Sampah Delima dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Banyu Urip Kecamatan Senori Kabupaten Tuban. Jenis penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, observasi, dan triangulasi data. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) Perusahaan mengeluarkan laba bersih (Profit) CSR dengan anggaran 2% telah dialokasikan ke Bank Sampah Delima (2) Lingkungan (Planet) sekitar beroperasinya perusahaan juga bersih karena Bank Sampah Delima menjadikan lingkungan bersih dari sampah (3) Pemberdayaan masyarakat (People) Desa menunjukkan perkembangan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan secara ekonomi. dan (4) Pada aspek Prosedur (Procedure) pengembangan program dan evaluasi dilakukan oleh pihak Humas dan bekerjasama dengan pemerintah
