Fuzzy Hungarian Approach for Transportation Model

    Get PDF
In this paper, a method is proposed to find the fuzzy optimal solution of fuzzy transportation model by representing all the parameters as trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. To illustrate the proposed method a fuzzy transportation problem is solved by using the proposed method and the results are obtained. The proposed method is easy to understand, and to apply for finding the fuzzy optimal solution of fuzzy transportation models in real life situations. However, we propose the method of fuzzy modified distribution for finding out the optimal solution for minimizing the cost of total fuzzy transportation. The advantages of the proposed method are also discussed

Internet-of-Things (IoT) offers a big boon towards a massive network of connected devices and is considered to offer coverage to an exponential number of the smart appliance in the very near future. Owing to the nascent stage of evolution of IoT, it is shrouded by security loopholes because of various reasons. Review of existing research-based solution highlights the usage of conventional cryptographic-based solution over the traditional mechanism of data forwarding process between IoT nodes and gateway. The proposed system presents a novel solution to this problem by a model that is capable of performing a highly secured and cost-effective authentication process. The proposed system introduces Authentication Using Signature (AUS) as well as Security with Complexity Reduction (SCR) for the purpose to resist participation of any form of unknown threats. The outcome of the model shows better security strength with faster response time and energy saving of the IoT nodes

Classification of traffic over collaborative IoT and Cloud platforms using deep learning recurrent LSTM

Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud based collaborative platforms are emerging as new infrastructures during recent decades. The classification of network traffic in terms of benign and malevolent traffic is indispensable for IoT-cloud based collaborative platforms to utilize the channel capacity optimally for transmitting the benign traffic and to block the malicious traffic. The traffic classification mechanism should be dynamic and capable enough to classify the network traffic in a quick manner, so that the malevolent traffic can be identified in earlier stages and benign traffic can be channelized to the destined nodes speedily. In this paper, we are presenting deep learning recurrent LSTM based technique to classify the traffic over IoT-cloud platforms. Machine learning techniques (MLTs) have also been employed for comparison of the performance of these techniques with the proposed LSTM RNet classification method. In the proposed research work, network traffic is classified into three classes namely Tor-Normal, NonTor-Normal and NonTor-Malicious traffic. The research outcome shows that the proposed LSTM RNet classify the traffic accurately and also helps in reducing the network latency and in enhancing the data transmission rate as well as network throughput

Background: In India, HIV epidemic is in fourth decade and has the heterogeneity. The trend indicated HIV infection spreads from high risk behavior groups to general population. Maternal to foetal HIV transmission rate is found to vary from 20 to 25% in absence of any interventions. Newly infected persons contribute to the total number of persons living with HIV, they will progress to disease and death over the time and are a potential source of further infection. Maternal HIV status directly affects the perinatal transmission and hence the paediatric HIV cases. This transmission of HIV from mother to child can be prevented by appropriate measures. So this study is intended to identify ten years’ trends in HIV seroprevalence among antenatal population at a tertiary hospital in Dhule, Maharashtra, India. Methods: Retrospective study of ICTC evaluation of pregnant women attending antenatal clinic at obstetrics and gynaecology department of Shri Bhausaheb Hire Government Medical College in Dhule, Maharashtra, India. Blood samples were collected after informed consent and pre-test counseling. The samples were tested for HIV antibodies as per WHO and NACO guidelines. The data of ten years period from January 2004 to December 2013 was evaluated to identify the trends of HIV seroprevalence among pregnant women attending antenatal clinic. Results: 309 pregnant women were HIV positive out of 70453 tested from 84608 ANC women during the study period. The overall prevalence for the 10 years was 0.44%. HIV prevalence had reduced from 0.89% in 2004 to 0.17% in 2013. Maximum HIV positive women i.e. 63.2% were 18 to 23 years old, primigravida (53.8%) and from rural area (58.5%). Mother to foetal transmission was noted 10 babies were detected to be HIV positive while 223 were HIV negative. 10 HIV positive mothers decided for MTP, while in 36 neonatal death was noted. Conclusions: Declining HIV seroprevalence rate is noted among pregnant women attending the antenatal clinics from 2004 to 2013. The effective implementation of prevention of parent to child transmission of HIV/AIDS (PPTCT) programmed is helping in control of the spread of HIV

Objective: The objective was to enhance the amount of active substance reaching the target tissue or exerting a local effect in the cul-de-sac, theapproach we use is the application of in-situ gelling systems or phase transition systems, which are instilled in a liquid form and shift to a gel or solidphase in the cul-de-sac. The present study will focus on the development of formulation of ophthalmic gels. The polymer physicochemical propertieswere studied for the improvement in gel characteristics. Methods: The formulations were varied by the amount of the anionic and cationic polymer concentration. The 10 and 20-fold excess anionic polymerwere used. The 10 and 20-fold excess anionic polymer were used. Further cationic polymers were utilized to see any ternary interaction betweendrug and polymers. Results: From the present study it could be shown that most of the formulations were isotropic and could be clearly separated from the anisotropicones which were situated at the cationic side of the phase diagram only as well as at 10% polyvinyl alcohol. Furthermore, excess 20HA, 10PAA, and20PAA as well as HCS (HCS/20PAA) contributes to improve drug release control. Conclusion: The above formulation of were found to be quite stable and useful in the novel format of sol-gel transformations. Further, the physicalcharacteristics gels show better tolerability with anionic and cationic polymer. Keywords: Cationic, Anionic, Poloxamer, Sol-gel

Objective: The study focus on the drug-drug and drug-polymer interaction and their estimation at stoichiometry when such systems were formed. In this discovery we tried to make use of the latest research and novel concepts to explore the drug-polymer-polymer Ionic ternary InteractionMethods: Partial ternary phase diagrams were constructed and the stoichiometry of the ciprofloxacin/anionic polymer interaction was assessed in distilled water by means of dialysis equilibrium. The polymers were completely hydrated in distilled water by gentle stirring at room temperature and studied for viscosity and turbidimetric measurements. Results: Comparing the partial ternary phase diagrams of the different anionic to each other. PAA exhibited the largest gel area even with low polymer content. The anionic polymers HA and PAA showed good capability to interact with the drug giving soluble drug/polymer complexes; moreover they were able to form polymer/polymer complexes with Poloxamer and HCS, with a stoichiometry depending on the polymers involved. Conclusion: From the results of the present study, it can be concluded that formulations were made isotonic and favours corneal permeation of both the drug. Ocular Irritancy denotes formulations were quite stable & useful in novel format of sol-gel transformations.Â

Engineering communication studies indicate the importance of oral presentations as an indispensable component of workplace oral communication activities; however, since there is limited literature regarding stakeholder perceptions of effective presentation skills and attributes in technical oral presentations or final year engineering project presentations, the authors conducted a mixed method to seek the perceptions of selected members of the academic and professional engineering community involved in technical oral presentations regarding effective presentation skills and attributes required in these technical oral presentations. The paper describes the quantitative and qualitative research methods employed to seek participant feedback involved in the study
