This Article is a call for reconsideration of the practice and judicial sanction of the administrative adjudication of contracts. It conducts a detailed examination of the adjudication of Qualifying Facility contracts by rate regulatory agencies. The broader case regarding the adjudication of contracts by administrative agencies is made to reveal the dimensions of matters of governance implicated by agency adjudication of contracts. The author concludes that regulatory bodies do not serve the best economic interests of society by adjudicating contract disputes

Tambien se compara la funcionalidad del modelo desarrollado con (RTI), utilizando modelos de control desarrolladons en el ambiente de simulacion grafica MATLAB-SIMULINK.This work shows the application of the numerical integration method known: Trapezoidal Rule Integration (TRI) to the model of a reactive power compensation de vice, the great advantages of using this particular method and application of the model developed in a simulation tool using MATLAB. It also compares the functionality of the model developed with (TRI), using control models, developed in the environment of MATLAB-SIMULINK graphical simulation

There was a correlation between the humidity and the radiation with the cows that were not in gestation (HR and BF), the cows BH not presented any relation.EEA CorrientesFil: Verdoljak, Juan Jose. The main objectives of this research are to identify academic stress of students in a degree in gastronomy, via its procedural systemic components, and determine the relationship between academic stress of students in a degree in gastronomy and sex, age, semester courses, relationship and if you work studying other. To achieve these objectives carried out a non-experimental and correlational study cross through the application of SISCO inventory for the study of academic stress to 95 students of the Degree in Gastronomy at a private university of the city of Durango, Mexico. Its main results confirm the presence of a moderate stress and no relation to sociodemographic variables

Power Consumption Analysis of Bluetooth Low Energy Commercial Products and Their Implications for IoT Applications

    No full text
Internet of things (IoT) has become a very important business segment for the industry since it is estimated that 50 billion devices will be interconnected by 2020, where 30% of them are forecasted to use Bluetooth low energy as the enabling communication protocol. IoT involves smart devices that can be connected to the cloud in order to share and process all types of data collected through sensors. Moreover, 100% of smartphones and tablets shipped in 2018 include Bluetooth low energy, which will allow the interoperation with the upcoming 5G standard. As a result, different low-power hardware platforms have become available to either build prototypes, or implement full IoT solutions. One fundamental aspect while choosing a development platform is to analyze the power consumption of its components to build an optimal low-power application and extend the battery life. In this work, we present current consumption measurements of four Bluetooth low energy commercial platforms configured as central and as peripheral devices, these measurements are aimed to provide the data that are not available in the datasheets and which is needed to select, in an optimal way, the proper connection parameters for the protocol
