Aportación al estudio de los yacimientos líticos postpaleolíticos al aire libre en Navarra

[ES] En este artículo se aborda la problemática de los yacimientos de sílex al aire libre en Navarra, proponiendo tras un estudio comparativo, una sistematización cronológica que va desde el Neolítico Pleno a la Edad del Bronce. Paralelamente se define un nuevo útil lítico (Elemento sobre hoja recortada-E.H.R.) y se analiza el fenómeno de las llamadas «hachas votivas».[EN] This article deals with the problem of open-air with remains of flintstone tools in Navarra. Through a comparative survey, it is given a chronology which dates from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age. We also define a new lithic tool (E.H.R.) and we analyse the subject of the so named «votive axes»

Nuevo monumento de puerta perforada en Navarra

[ES] Se da la noticia del reciente descubrimiento de una estructura funeraria de tipo hipogeo, con cubierta megalítica y puerta perforada en el término de Viana (Navarra). El monumento se halla en proceso de excavación, estimándose para él una cronología del Calcolítico Antiguo.[EN] We report here the recent discovery of a burial underground structure, with a megalithic roof and a pierced door at Viana (Navarra). The site is being dug up, and its estimated age dates from the Ancient Calcolithic Period

Emerging trends in reassessing translation, conflict, and memory

New Approaches on Translation, Conflict, and Memory: Narratives of the Spanish Civil War and the Dictatorship is a collection of essays that endeavours to establish a new dialogue between translation, conflict, and memory studies. Focusing on cultural representations of the Spanish Civil War and the Franco Dictatorship, it explores the significance and the effect of translation within Spain and beyond. Drawing on fictional and non-fictional texts, reports from war zones, and audiovisual productions, the contributors to this volume examine the scope of translation in transmitting the conflict and the dictatorship from a contemporary perspective. Narratives produced during and after the Civil War and the dictatorship both in Spain and abroad have led to new debates arising from the reassessment of a conflict that continues to resonate
