Regions Oil Palm Estate Management Unit Sungai Terik, Nusa Lestari Ltd is largely secondary forest. Land cover conditions have degraded because of existing timber companies operating in this region from 1990. The inventory and identification of wildlife species diversity in the plantation done to be able to know the types that still exist in this area of oil palm companies. From the observation found 32 species of mammals which belong to 14 families, 170 species of birds belonging to the 42 families and 9 species of reptiles. Local protected areas that border the river is one important area for the protection and preservation of endangered species / protected. This condition is caused because it can be found 20 species of mammals, 41 species of birds and one reptile species endangered / protected in the region

AMS L.td region is part of Seberuang watershed ecosystem with heavily degraded condition, which was indicated by low levels of encounter with wildlife, both on observations during this study as well as from interviews with some of the people who live in the area. Protected areas such as river banks and peatland areas provided high opportunity of encounter with wildlife. Field observation had resulted in the identification of 23 species of mammals, 54 species of birds, 11 species of reptiles. Further analyses showed that this region contains 13 species of mammals, 5 species of birds and 4 species of reptiles which fell in to rare/protected category

IPB campus spread at some locations, one of the location is IPB Baranangsiang campus. Along with development of Bogor city, especially around the Bogor Botanical Garden and IPB Baranangsiang campus, so it is needed doing study in order to get description about condition of biodiversity at IPB Baranangsiang campus. The purpose of this study is to show information about the condition of campus biodiversity, both the diversity of flora and fauna. The data about flora was conducted by field observation method by census and the data about fauna was conducted by interview and field direct observation, either directly or by voice encounter and the trail left as dirt, nest, scratch marks, footprints, and others. The result showed that there were 34 species of flora found and two species were protected. Found fauna was 30 species of birds, four species of amphibian, 17 species pf reptile, seven species of mammals and there was one species was protected. ‘Taman Koleksi\u27 and back door gate/border river were area whis had richness of fauna higher than other area

Forests development into oil palm plantations of course have much impact on the environment within and surrounding both direct and indirect impacts. One of the affected is wildlife. Based on field observations during the course of the study, it is known there are 19 species of mammals, 47 species of birds and 5 species of reptiles. Based on the analysis, this region contains of 10 species of mammals, 16 species of birds and 4 species of reptiles which includes the category of rare / protected. Poaching, habitat destruction, the unclear status of the land, and the decline in feed quality is a serious threat to the existence of wildlife in the region

Ecosystems Degradation in the region of Aditunggal Mahajaya Ltd had caused the region to be functioning poorly as wildlife habitat. This was indicated by the low level of wildlife encounters, both on observations during this study as well as from interviews with some of the people who live in the area. In addition, other factors causing decline in wildlife populations was the high level of animal hunting. Most of the wildlife was found in a wooded area that had a relatively good canopy cover. This condition was found in the area around the river, and it was also found in the mix rubberwood forest areas owned by public administrations of Ayawan River Gardens (saye). There were 15 species of mammals, 17 species of birds and three species of reptiles found in the area which included in the rare/protected category from the total of 27 species of mammals, 54 species of birds, 6 species of reptiles found in the region

Development of forests into oil palm plantations have much impact, both directly and indirectly, on the environment within and surrounding the plantation. Wildlife is one of the environmental component affected by oil palm plantation development. The remaining forested areas inside the plantation area had the potential for wildlife encounter. Based on field observations during the course of the study, 64 species were found in the area, which comprised of 43 species of birds, 7 species of mammals and 8 species of reptiles and amphibians. Further analyses showed that the area had 7 species of mammals, 12 species of birds and 4 species of reptiles and amphibians which included in the category of rare/protected species. Poaching, habitat destruction, indefinite land status, and the decline of feed quality were serious threat to the existence of wildlife in the area
