    Determinar la incidencia de las de las técnicas grafo-plásticas en el desarrollo cognitivo de niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años de edad, del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil “Chispitas de Ternura” de la UTN, del Cantón Ibarra, año lectivo 2013-2014, mediante un trabajo de investigación, para mejorar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.El trabajo de investigación comienza con la formulación del problema: ¿Cuál es la influencia de las técnicas grafo-plásticas en el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años de edad, del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil ¿Chispitas de Ternura¿ de la UTN, del Cantón Ibarra, año lectivo 2013-2014?, con el objetivo de: Determinar la incidencia de las de las técnicas grafo-plásticas en el desarrollo cognitivo de niños y niñas de 3 a 5 años de edad, del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil ¿Chispitas de Ternura¿ de la UTN, del Cantón Ibarra, año lectivo 2013-2014. Pedagógicamente la investigación coincide con la teoría Lev Vygotsky porque el aprendizaje se fortalece cuando se realiza de forma socializada con la intervención de los pares más capaces, intercambiando experiencias mutuas y fortaleciendo el aprendizaje comunitario. Psicológicamente hay el aporte de la teoría cognitiva de Piaget, que explica ciertas maneras de pensar que son bastantes sencillas para una adulto no son tan fáciles para un niño. En ocasiones, todo lo que se necesita para enseñar un nuevo concepto es dar al niño algunos hechos básicos, esto le permitirá un mejor desarrollo cognitivo. Sociológicamente la teoría socio- crítica que cumple con explicar la realidad cultural educativa y propositivo porque da una alternativa de solución sobre la información de las técnicas grafo-plásticas y su incidencia en el desarrollo cognitivo de los niños. En el marco teórico se analiza las categorías de las Técnicas grafo-plásticas y el desarrollo cognitivo, con sus respectivos subtemas. La parte metodológica se aplicó las investigaciones de campo, descriptiva, documental y propositiva, con sus métodos deductivo-inductivo, analítico-sintético y el estadístico. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario, Los resultados obtenidos es la necesidad de capacitación a las maestras de CDI sobre técnicas grafo-plásticas, debido a que los niños presentan dificultades en el desarrollo cognitivo.     Diseñar una propuesta de fortalecimiento del Proyecto Ambiental Escolar del Jardín Infantil La Sagrada Familia, por medio de procesos de Educación Ambiental como aporte a la Alfabetización Ecológica.La presente propuesta, surge al reconocer que el Proyecto Ambiental Escolar de la Institución Educativa Jardín Infantil Sagrada Familia no tenía una trascendencia en la comunidad, en donde se encontraban unas líneas de acción en cuanto al manejo de recursos hídricos, manejo integral de residuos sólidos y la utilización de la huerta como un escenario educativo, que pretendía a partir de la acción de los estudiantes crear una conciencia frente al cuidado del medio ambiente, sin embargo tras la aplicación de acciones como la observación participante y la entrevista realizada a la directora de grado, se pudo constatar que dentro de las líneas de manejo de residuo solidos e hídrico se hacían actividades de manera esporádica sin causar aluna transformación estructural o un mejoramiento en el comportamiento ambiental; en cuanto a la huerta se pudo constatar que esta no se encontraba en funcionamiento ya que solo se utilizó durante un periodo de dos meses quedando inactiva. Para lo cual el proyecto platea como objetivo general el fortalecimiento del PRAE por medio de la educación ambiental como un aporte inmediato a la alfabetización ecológica. Para lograr lo anterior el proceso metodológico se determina bajo los postulados del paradigma interpretativo, bajo un enfoque cualitativo y un diseño de estudio de caso simple; como técnicas de investigación se hace la utilización de la entrevista semi estructurada y la observación participante. Para culminar como resultados de la investigación se resalta un análisis documental del prae, así como la elaboración de una unidad didáctica, su aplicación y el análisis de lo generado tras el proceso de aplicación de cada una de las actividades.This proposal arises from recognizing that the School Environmental Project of the Sagrada Familia Nursery School Educational Institution did not have an importance in the community, where there were some lines of action regarding the management of water resources, integral management of solid waste and the use of the orchard as an educational setting, which, based on the action of the students, intended to create an awareness of caring for the environment, however after the application of actions such as participant observation and the interview with the director of the degree It was found that within the solid and water waste management lines, activities were carried out sporadically without causing any structural transformation or an improvement in environmental behavior; As for the orchard, it was found that it was not in operation since it was only used for a period of two months and was inactive.     Sexual and Reproductive Health for Young Adults in Colombia: Teleconsultation Using Mobile Devices

    Background: Sexual risk behaviors associated with poor information on sexuality have contributed to major public health problems in the area of sexual and reproductive health in teenagers and young adults in Colombia. Objective: To report our experience with the use of DoctorChat Mobile to provide sexual education and information among university students in Bogota, Colombia, and knowledge about the sexual risk factors detected among them. Methods: A mobile app that allows patients to ask about sexual and reproductive health issues was developed. Sexual and reproductive risk behaviors in a sample of young adults were measured before and after the use of the app through the validated survey Family Health International (FHI) Behavioral Surveillance Survey (BSS) for Use With Adults Between 15 and 49 Years. A nonprobabilistic convenience recruitment was undertaken through the study´s webpage. After completing the first survey, participants were allowed to download and use the app for a 6-month period (intervention), followed by completion of the same survey once again. For the inferential analysis, data was divided into 3 groups (dichotomous data, discrete quantitative data, and ordinal data) to compare the results of the questions between the first and the second survey. The study was carried out with a sample of university students between 18 and 29 years with access to mobile phones. Participation in the study was voluntary and anonymous. Results: A total of 257 subjects met the selection criteria. The preintervention survey was answered by 232 subjects, and 127 of them fully answered the postintervention survey. In total, 54.3% (69/127) of the subjects completed the survey but did not use the app, leaving an effective population of 58 subjects for analysis. Of these subjects, 53% (31/58) were women and 47% (27/58) were men. The mean age was 21 years, ranging between 18 and 29 years. The differences between the answers from both surveys were not statistically significant. The main sexual risk behaviors identified in the population were homosexual intercourse, nonuse of condoms, sexual intercourse with nonregular and commercial partners, the use of psychoactive substances, and lack of knowledge on symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases and HIV transmission. Conclusions: Although there were no differences between the pre- and postintervention results, the study revealed different risk behaviors among the participating subjects. These findings highlight the importance of promoting high-impact educational strategies on this matter and the importance of providing teenagers and young adults with easily accessible tools with reliable health information, regardless of their socioeconomic status

    La presente propuesta tuvo como propósito el de documentar revisiones teóricas que soportaran lo establecido en los objetivos. Puesto que, es importante conocer el papel que cumple el docente en el ejercicio de la pedagogía contemporánea, como aquel que busca incentivar y motivar sujetos que logren ser agentes de cambio en una sociedad cada vez mas mutable, con sus respectivos fenómenos surgiendo innovaciones desde las tecnologías y requiriendo soluciones adecuadas a las condiciones del territorio. En este sentido, las particularidades territoriales en el cual está inmersa la Institución Educativa El Aserrío, tienen sus propias problemáticas socioculturales que rodea cada uno de los aspectos de sus habitantes, y por supuesto, de la población estudiantil. Eventos que han estado adheridos a las economías ilegales y a los conflictos armados. De aquí que con afán se ha sugerido en este ejercicio investigativo, el de crear estrategias lúdico-pedagógicas aplicadas desde la docencia, a todos y cada uno de los estudiantes del grado 11 de la Institución Educativa El Aserrio.The purpose of this proposal was to document theoretical revisions that would support what was established in the objectives. Since, it is important to know the role played by the teacher in the exercise of contemporary pedagogy, as the one who seeks to encourage and motivate subjects who become agents of change in an increasingly mutable society, with their respective phenomena emerging innovations from the technologies and requiring adequate solutions to the conditions of the territory. In this sense, the territorial particularities in which the El Aserrío Educational Institution is immersed, have their own sociocultural problems that surround each one of the aspects of its inhabitants, and of course, of the student population. Events that have been attached to illegal economies and armed conflicts.     Liderazgo transformacional y el desempeño laboral en los trabajadores de las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito de la provincia de Bolívar

    Introduction: The Savings and Credit cooperatives of the Province of Bolívar through this study want to achieve a transformational leadership, which serves as a guide for managers and thus be able to directly influence the improvement of job performance of people who work in each of these financial entities through the correct decision-making and problem solving in search of efficiency, effectiveness and fulfilment of institutional objectives. Objective: To investigate the influence of transformational leadership on the job performance of employees of the Savings and Credit Cooperatives of Bolívar Province. Methodology: The research methodology used in this project is based on a descriptive correlational study with a mixed approach (qualitative and quantitative) in this way the most relevant characteristics of transformational leadership are established, for this reason a bibliographic and field research work was developed in which determined a population of 100 people who work in cooperatives, in order to obtain information, very common techniques such as interviews and surveys were used, therefore validation was carried out through expert criteria together with the digital tool SPSS, It should be noted that the sampling is not probabilistic and the reliability was established with the Cron Bach Alpha Coefficient. Results: The results obtained from the respondents perceive transformational leadership at a poor level with 65.39% and at a regular level with 34.61% an efficient level. Conclusions: It is concluded that the causes of poor job performance are due to the inadequate training of employees, demotivation, and the inappropriate attitude of managers, this has generated dissatisfaction and the work environment is not adequate, which is classified as sufficient evidence to determine the relationship between the study variables.Introducción: Las cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito de la Provincia de Bolívar a través de este estudio quieren alcanzar un liderazgo transformacional, el cual sirva de guía para los directivos y así poder incidir de manera directa en mejorar el desempeño laboral de las personas que trabajan en cada una de estas entidades financieras mediante la acertada toma de decisiones y resolución de problemas en búsqueda de la eficiencia, eficacia y cumplimiento de los objetivos institucionales. Objetivo: Investigar la influencia del liderazgo transformacional en el desempeño laboral de los empleados de las Cooperativas de Ahorro y Crédito de la Provincia Bolívar. Metodología: La metodología de investigación utilizada en este proyecto está fundamentada en un estudio descriptivo correlacional con enfoque mixto (cualitativo y cuantitativo) de esta forma se establece las características más relevantes del liderazgo transformacional, por ello se desarrolló un trabajo investigativo bibliográfico y de campo en el que se determinó una población de 100 personas las cuales trabajan en las cooperativas, para poder obtener información se hizo uso de técnicas muy comunes como entrevistas y encuestas por consiguiente se realizó la validación a través del criterio de expertos conjuntamente con la herramienta digital SPSS, cabe recalcar que el muestreo es no probabilístico y la confiabilidad se estableció con el Coeficiente  Alpha de Cron Bach. Resultados: Los resultados obtenidos de los encuestados perciben un liderazgo transformacional en un nivel deficiente con un 65,39% y de un nivel regular con un 34,61% un nivel eficiente. Conclusiones: Se concluye que las causas del bajo desempeño laboral son por la inadecuada capacitación de los empleados, la desmotivación y la inapropiada actitud de los directivos, esto ha generado insatisfacción y el clima laboral no es el adecuado, lo que se cataloga como pruebas suficientes para determinar la relación que existe entre las variables de estudio

    A study of PPM methodologies, strategic management, and teaching baton of Escuela Superior Politécnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) for implementing a software solution in managing projects of the Faculty of Natural Resources was performed. Through research, it was determined that there is a close relationship between the use of PPM and reducing the problems and performance improvement projects. This is in addition to the portfolio management project which has differences of tracking, time, resources, and the scope of traditional project management. It provides a global view thereof that strategic management must involve all levels of the organization. This will anticipate a correct decision. Also, with respect to projects in the Faculty of Natural Resources, 98% of teachers and the total authorities considered the urgent need to implement a software for strategic management of projects in the faculty. This is because 83% of them were conducted, while 80% performed linkage. A set of tools for application development under the cascade methodology for the monitoring and evaluation of projects entitled SIMEP was determined. By implementing SIMEP based on the use of PPM, the Faculty of Natural Resources provided information management project based on its submission, approval, execution, completion and delivery of results, and reporting activities, thereby enabling timely decision making

    This research is aimed to evaluate the management model for the operation of the shelters Carrel and Whymper within La Reserva de Produccion de Fauna Chimborazo (RPFCH – acronym in Spanish for this protected area) through the design and implementation of an evaluation matrix. This matrix tool is specifically designed to evaluate management models and operations of tourist services in protected areas. The model integrates three criteria that have to do with social, economic and environmental sustainability. The matrix has been designed based on four components: 1) The sustainability indicators created by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (CEPAL – acronym in Spanish), 2) A corporate social responsibility approach, 3) The global criteria of sustainable tourism and 4) A guide to good practices of sustainable tourism. These matrix components were adapted to the conditions of the tourist services offered at the Carrel and Whymper shelters. The evaluation detected that the current management model meets only 40% of the evaluation indicators sustainability criteria, which demonstrates a poor sustainability model. Based on this review, a new management approach is suggested under the eco-efficient shelters model. This ensures that the investors not only reach economic profitability, but also they obtain longterm environmental and social sustainability. This model not only establishes parameters that allow for investors to make the appropriate economic and management decisions, but also establishes policies that ensure the conservation of protected area

    Caracterización Ecológica De Bofedales, Hábitat De Vicuñas Aplicando Metodologías De Teledeteccion Y Sig Estudio De Caso: Reserva De Producción De Fauna Chimborazo

    This article presents a methodology based on classification of images from Landsat 7 ETM + to classify Andean wetlands known as ¨Bofedal¨ (wetland) located in the Fauna Production Reserve Chimborazo. Five of the seven in-situ geo-referenced bofedales belong to this category and two belong to the altiplano. These georeferenced reservoirs are the principal habitat of the vicuñas that are located within the RPFCH in the jurisdictions of the province of Tungurahua: Río Blanco, ¨Mocha¨ Valley area, 472.26 ha, 4400 m.; Chimborazo Province: Bofedal Quebrada Toni, Urbina area, 16.74 ha, 4301 m, bofedal El Refugio (Hermanos Carrel) at the Nevado Chimborazo, 1.44 ha, 4800msnm, and Curi bofedal Pogyo, Chorrera Mirador, 0.34 ha., 4523 m. and in the Bolivar Province: the wetlands Chag Pogyo, Pulinguí San Pablo, 19.36 ha, 4064 meters above sea level. Bofedal Sinche1, the sector ¨antennas¨, 8.53 ha. 4167 m., And Sinche2, ¨Puente Ayora¨ area, 9.39 ha., 3981 meters, the latter being Chag Pogyo highland bofedales. The seven bofedales represent 0.93% (527.87 ha) of the total area of the RPFCH (56653, 27 ha.). Two images of the satellite Landsat 7 ETM +, from the years 2001 - EarthSat, 2004 - USGS and an orthophoto 2013-2014 - GIS land were used. Georeferenced and rectified to capture the spatial and temporal variability of these ecosystems and define the characterization of bofedales in the reserve. For each image two classification methods were used, the supervised classification being the most efficient when representing the four representative classes in the RPFCH: snow, rock, pajonal and bofedal. Since this classification is oriented to objects that takes into account aspects such as shape and texture and not just the spectral information of each pixel. Allowing to obtain information on the characteristics and spatial distribution of the bofedales which was verified and validated later in the field. This process allows the generation of digital cartography with the identification, delimited and distributed bofedales along the RPFCH, representing a total of approximately 1483.94 ha in the RPFCH. In addition, the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) was applied, which made it possible to differentiate water bodies from other coverages, as well as specifically to know the extent of the reservoirs present in the Reserve, in order to better infer Distribution of vicuñas

    Indicadores Culturales Como Complemento Decisivo De La Sostenibilidad Integral Sistema De Indicadores Culturales Como Aporte A La Determinacion De La Sostenibilidad Integral Urbana De Riobamba, Provincia De Chimborazo

    In view of the lack of a system of cultural indicators in Riobamba County, the present study develops a series of steps that lead to the obtaining of a list of indicators relevant for the cultural management of the five urban parishes of the county. The data generated by this research will contribute to a general study that intends to rank the city among the 150 most sustainable cities in the world, this will be seen in a future publication as other areas of urban sustainability will be included to determine the integral sustainability of the territory. Initially the research analyzes several models of indicators proposed by organizations and experts understood in the cultural subject at global, regional and local level. We proceed to discriminate these proposed models by looking for their proximity to the local reality. In addition, further information was collected that contributed to generate new cultural indicators of the city through citizen participation. With the help of local authorities, the information collected together was analyzed to determine the indicators that directly affect the level of cultural sustainability of the five parishes in the city. Finally all results are reflected in the publication of a newsletter with statistical summaries where the situation of some cultural aspects of the riobambeña population is reflected in order to make feasible suggestions for improvement and to reinforce the local culture
