The compound crystallizes in the triclinic system and P-1 space group with Z = 1 and the following unit cell parameters: a = 8.165(5) Å, b = 10.236(5) Å, c = 13.105(5) Å, α = 81.421(5)°, β = 78.810(5)°, γ = 72.941(5)°, and V = 1022.2(9) Å3. The Fe(II) ions are six-coordinated, in distorted octahedral fashion, by three N atoms of tpbd ligand, one water oxygen atom and two N atoms of two dicyanamide anions. The intra-dinuclear Fe⋯Fe distance via the bridged μ2-tpbd ligand is 8.293(8) Å. In the molecular arrangement, the combination of OH⋯N and CH⋯N hydrogen bonds links the title complex to form a three-dimensional supramolecular structure. Magnetic susceptibility measurements (2–300 K) show that 1 presents weak antiferromagnetic exchange between the two nearest Fe2+ ions with the coupling constant J = −1.05 cm−1.PostprintPeer reviewe

Objective: To study the pregnancy outcomes in first trimester vaginal bleeding. Materials and methods: This cross sectional study was done on 60 pregnant women with first trimester vaginal bleeding referring to university hospitals affiliated to Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran. All women were evaluated for the outcomes including abortion, preterm rapture of membranes, preterm labor, second and third trimester vaginal bleeding, low birth weight and intra uterine growth retardation and the mode of delivery. Data were analyzed using SPSS- 11. Results: Placenta accreta, second trimester bleeding and preterm labor were significantly more prevalent in pregnant women with first trimester bleeding (P ≤ 0.05). Conclusion: According to results of present study vaginal bleeding in first trimester of pregnancy may predict further maternal and fetal complications. We recommend training pregnant women regarding those complications and their prevention

Compound 1 , with a rare coordination environment, is the only well-known example in which end-to-end double bridged dca ligands and a bidentate bulky aromatic ligand (dmbpy) are coordinated simultaneously to the iron center. Structural analysis of compound 2 showed it is a novel two-dimensional coordination polymer, constructed from repetition of 4,4′-bpy and dca as a bidentate bridging ligand. Changing the co-ligand to 4,4′-bpy, lead to completely different structure geometry and network, which confirms the substantial effect of co-ligand. Furthermore, Hirshfeld surfaces analyses have been performed to help understand the packing.PostprintPeer reviewe
