    PENGARUH PENERAPAN ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP KEPUASAN PASIEN DI RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM SULTAN AGUNG SEMARANG

    Pendekatan spiritual akan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, belum optimalnya pelaksanaan Asuhan Keperawatan Spiritual di Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan Agung Semarang. Fokus asuhan keperawatan masih berpusat dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan fisik belum menyeluruh sehingga perlu upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu asuhan dengan pemberian asuhan keperawatan spiritual dalam meningkatkan kepuasan klien yang dirawat di rumah sakit. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kepuasan pasien sebelum dan setelah Penerapan Asuhan Keperawatan Spiritual di Rumah Sakit Islam Sultan Agung Semarang Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest with control group design,dengan sampel sebanyak 42 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Non Probability Sampling ( Sample Non Random ) dengan metode Consecutive Sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Uji Validitas dilakukan dengan uji korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas dengan alpha cronbach. Kepuasan penerapan Asuhan Keperawatan Spiritual pada post test kelompok kontrol rata-rata sebesar 76.93 dan pada kelompok intervensi post test didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 96.76. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata kepuasan post test kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi. Nilai p value 0,000 < α (0,05) dengan demikian disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh antara penerapan asuhan spiritual dengan kepuasan pasien. Disarankan kepada perawat untuk menerapkan asuhan keperawatan spiritual dalam upaya peningkatan kepuasan klien yang dirawat di rumah sakit. Spiritual Appproach will increase patient’s satisfaction, insufficiency of implementation spiritual nursing care at Sultan Agung Hospital Semarang. The Focus of nursing care was still centered in fulfill physical need which was still inconclusive so it’s needed to give effort to increase the quality of care by giving spiritual nursing care to increase patient’s satisfaction that was treated in the hospital. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of patient’s satisfaction before and after spiritual nursing care application in Sultan Agung Hospital Semarang. Quasi experiment research by using pretest-posttest with control group design, by 42 respondents. Technical sampling by using Non Probability Sampling (Sample Non Random ) and Consecutive Sampling method. The Instrument was using questioner which has been tested its validity and reliability. Validity check had done by correlation tested product moment and reliability tested by alpha cronbach. The average satisfaction of spritual nursing care application to the group of post test control was 76.93 and to intervention post test group obtained the average 96.76. So it can be concluded that there was a differences in the average of satisfaction value between post test control group and intervention group. p value 0,000 < α (0,05). Therefore it can be concluded that there was the significant influence between spiritual nursing care and patient’s satisfaction. It is recommended to the nurse to applied spiritual nursing care to increase patient’s satisfaction that was treated in the hospital

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan peningkatan kepatuhan perawat terhadap penerapan SPO pencegahan risiko jatuh setelah dilakukan kegiatan DRK. Metode penelitian ini adalah experimental dengan rancangan pretest–posttest with control group design dan melibatkan 32 perawat yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu 16 perawat kelompok intervensi dan 16 perawat kelompok kontrol. Observasi kepatuhan perawat terhadap penerapan SPO pencegahan risiko jatuh dilakukan sebelum DRK dan 2 minggu setelah DRK. Data dianalisa menggunakan uji non parametrik Wicoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada kelompok intervensi kepatuhan meningkat 100% dengan nilai Z:-3.355 dan p Value: 0.000 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol peningkatan penerapan SPO adalah sebesar 43.75% dengan nilai Z: -0.40

    Implementation of Caring Leadership Model Had an Effect on Nurse’s Burnout

    The high demand for role and function as a nurse can potentially lead to burnout.The impact of burnout causes patients to have secondary infections that are not caused by the disease, decrease patient satisfaction and quality of care and mortality. Efforts that can be done to reduce the nurse's burnout is through the application of an effective leadership style. Caring leadership as a leadership style can facilitate the needs of nurses so that it will improve performance. This study aims to determine the effect of caring leadership of the head of space on the burnout of nurses. The method used is quasi experiment pre and post design with control group. A total of 46 nurses were taken as samples through purposive sampling fron 426 nurses. Data analysis using pairred t-test. The results showed that there was difference of average burnout value before and after applied caring leadership with p-value=0.000, which means there is influence of head room caring leadership against nurse's burnout. Implementation of caring leadership should be done consistently for all nursing activities in the hospital, given the caring leadership can reduce the burnout of nurses that will ultimately have an impact on the quality of nursing services

    Nurse retention is a process that refers to the ability of an organization to maintain nurses within a maximum period of time. This hospital has a high nurse retention rate with a turnover rate of 7% in the past year. This study aims to determine the description of nurse retention. This research was a quantitative descriptive study with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of 110 executing nurses of a hospital in Semarang. The research instrument used a questionnaire with 18 questions. The results show that nurse retention on the autonomy and freedom dimensions are considered good by 92.7% nurses, the dimensions of work compatibility factors is considered good by 84.5% nurses, the dimensions of work support and recognition are considered good by 76.4% nurses, compensation dimensions and career growth are considered good by 75.5% nurses, and organizational culture dimensions are considered good by 51.8% nurses. It is suggested that the hospital to be more open to receive suggestions for improving services in order to increase nurse retention

    Kebutuhan personal hygiene pada pasien yang harus terpenuhi selama di rumah sakit adalah mandi dan berpakaian, menggosok gigi, mencuci rambut, membersihkan kuku, toileting, dan membersihkan perineum. Salah satu dampak fisik yang terjadi apabila tidak dilakukan personal hygiene adalah dermatitis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi pasien tentang pelaksanaan pemenuhan kebutuhan personal hygiene pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Ungaran Semarang Tahun 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif eksploratif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 133 orang sesuai kriteria inklusi. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah dengan distribusi frekuensi. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data statistik diperoleh, sebagian besar pasien menjawab tidak baik terhadap pelaksanaan mandi dan berpakaian sebesar 87 orang (65,4%), perawatan kuku tangan dan kaki baik sebesar 81 orang (56,4%), perawatan rambut tidak baik sebesar 89 orang (66,9%), perawatan gigi dan mulut tidak baik sebesar 104 orang (78,2%), toileting tidak baik sebesar 88 orang (66,2%), dan perawatan perineum tidak baik sebesar 112 (84,2%). Hasil penelitian secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa, pelaksanaan personal hygiene tidak baik sebesar 80 orang (60,2%) dan baik 53 orang (39,8%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan agar perawat dapat meningkatkan pelaksanaan personal hygiene dengan memberikan edukasi dan informasi kepada keluarga pasien

    A preliminary study at the inpatient wards of Dr. Soegiri Public Hospital of Lamongan found that some staff nurses still showed inappropriate carative caring behaviors such as being ignorant and unfriendly towards the families who inquired information about the condition of the patients. Such behaviors are affected by total rewards (compensation, allowance, the effectiveness of the work- life, performance, recognition and career development and opportunities). This study aimed to analyze the relationships between staff nurses’ perceptions of total rewards and carative caring behaviors at the inpatient wards of Dr. Soegiri Public Hospital of Lamongan. This study used a correlational descriptive design with a cross sectional approach. The samples were 74 respondents determined by total sampling technique. The data were collected using the questionnaires of nurses’ perception of total rewards and the observation sheets of carative caring behaviors. The collected data were analyzed using univariate analysis, chi-square test, the mann-whitney test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there were relationships between the staff nurses’ perceptions of total rewards, compensation, effectiveness of the work-life, work performance and recognition, career development and opportunities and the carative caring behaviors (p-value = 0.001 to 0.012; α = 0.05). The factors which mostly associated with the nurses’ carative caring behaviors were the perception of work performance and recognition, and the perception of compensation after controlled by the variable of marital status. This study recommends that the hospital management should provide a written recognition for the nurses who have good carative caring behaviors. In addition, implementing clinical supervision by the head nurses and calculating the nurses’ compensation based on carative caring behaviors and professional nursing career paths should also be carried out by the hospital management to improve the carative caring behaviors of the staff nurses

    Hand washing is an important basic technique in disease prevention efforts. If the behavior of handwashing technicians motor vehicle repair work is not good, it will affect the health of technicians both in the short and long term. This study aims to identify the behavior of technicians at AHASS in Semarang City in hand washing. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive study. The data were collected using questionnaire sheet. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling with a total sample of 141 respondents. The results of this study indicate the knowledge of handwashing technicians is quite adequate with 88 respondents (62.4%), but there are still many respondents who who lack knowledge about the procedures of hand washing steps according to the World Health Organization (WHO), especially in the first step, the second step, the fourth step , The fifth step, and the sixth step. For the attitude of technicians to wash hands quite enough with 76 respondents (53.9%), but there are still a number of technicians who think if hands that looks clean, it means there is no germ in hand. In the practice of hand washing, most are sufficient with 75 respondents (53.2%), but there are still many respondents who have not applied 6 steps of handwashing routinely according to WHO. This indicates that the handwashing behavior of AHASS technicians in Semarang City is categorized enough although there are still a number of respondents who behave less well so that there is an effort to increase knowledge, especially about handwashing procedures according to WHO and hand washing practices in daily life

    Their negative perceptions by students about the nursing profession with the reason that the nursing profession is a profession that is difficult, dangerous profession, and the profession who do not receive enough appreciation, and lower student achievement motivation in achieving clinical practice education. Perception of nursing students to the nursing profession can influence student achievement motivation in the educational process of nursing clinical practice. This perception gives impulses to the individual so that it appears the motivation that will drive the behavior of a person to act. This study aimed to explore the relationship between perceptions of the nursing profession and achievement motivation in education in the clinical practice of nursing students VI semester Diponegoro University. This research method is quantitative research through research design korelasional with Cross Sectional approach. The data collection is done by distributing questionnaires and the data processed with descriptive techniques are presented in a frequency distribution table. Respondents in this study were 128 nursing students. The results showed students' perceptions of the nursing profession who have a positive perception of 57.03%, 42.97% and a negative perception of high achievement motivation in clinical practice education 53.9%, low motivation 46.1% with a value of X2 = 57.656 p-value 0.001 <0.05. Advice for students is the students can understand that the nursing profession is a profession that is good, noble profession, a profession that has a good future and an independent profession and the profession has an important role in the world of health, so that students can be motivated to excel for achieving education nursing clinical practice

Effective communication is directly proportional to the satisfaction of the receiver. The SBAR communication framework contains patient information about the Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation. The aim of this research is to determine the level of nurse satisfaction in the implementation of SBAR communication at the time of patient handover at RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro. The type of research is descriptive survey. The population of the research are nurses who work in hospitalization service rooms at RSUD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro, with using probability sampling technique of 135 people sample. The results of the research describe that 51.1% of respondents have satisfied perception to the aspect of situation. In background aspect, as much as 52.6% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. In assessment aspect, as much as 51.1% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. In recommendation aspect, 85.9% of respondents have satisfied perceptions. Practice related to the effective communication for nurses can be a solution to improve the quality of effective communication and to raise the hospital service quality.     PELAKSANAAN PENGEMBANGAN JENJANG KARIR PERAWAT DI RUMAH SAKIT

    Latar belakang: Pelaksanaan sistem jenjang karir memacu profesi perawat untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri sesuai dengan peminatan masing-masing. Hal ini akan menstimulasi perawat untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan keperawatan yang optimal. Namun demikian ada perawat yang belum berpendapat tentang pelaksanaan dan prosesnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi perawat dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan jenjang karir.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian adalah survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang, dari berbagai jenjang karir perawat di unit pelayanan rawat inap. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 90 perawat dengan teknik pengambilan sampel propotionate stratified random sampling.Simpulan: Penelitian menunjukkan persepsi perawat secara keseluruhan persepsi perawat dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan jenjang karir perawat sebagian besar adalah cukup baik sebanyak 67,8%. meliputi persepsi pelaksanaan pendaftaran 78,9% cukup baik, persepsi pelaksanaan penilaian kompetensi sebesar 75,6% cukup baik, persepsi pemberian rekomendasi sebagian besar cukup baik sebesar 66,7% persepsi pemberian jenjang karir baru sebanyak 73,3% cukup baik.Saran untuk rumah sakit khususnya menyiapkan sistem jenjang karir perawat berdasarkan kompetensi yang meliputi alur, model, uji kompetensi dengan cara memberikan informasi yang jelas dan mudah di pahami oleh perawat. Kata kunci: Jenjang karir, perawa
