New physics models predict the possibility of extra neutral gauge bosons (ZZ') associated with an extra U(1)U(1)' gauge symmetry. We study the couplings of the Higgs boson to the ZZ boson and ZZ' boson predicted by the new physics models. The couplings of the ZZ' boson to quarks can also be investigated through the ZqqˉZ'q\bar{q} interactions. The accessible ranges of the parameter space have been searched for processes ppHZXpp\rightarrow HZX and ppHHZXpp\rightarrow HHZX at the LHC with s=14\sqrt{s}=14 TeV.Comment: 10 pages, 10 figure

Effects of the FCNC Couplings in Production of New Heavy Quarks within Z

We study the flavor changing neutral current couplings of new heavy quarks through the Z′ models at the LHC. We calculate the cross sections for the signal and the corresponding standard model background processes. Considering the present limits on the mass of new heavy quarks and the Z′ boson, we performed an analysis to investigate the parameter space (mixing and mass) through different Z′ models. For FCNC mixing parameter x=0.1 and the Z′ mass MZ′=2000 GeV and new heavy quark mass mt′=700 GeV at the LHC with s=13 TeV, we find the cross section for single production of new heavy quarks associated with top quarks as 5.8 fb, 3.3 fb, 1.5 fb, and 1.2 fb within the Zη′, Zψ′, ZLP′, and Zχ′ models, respectively. It is shown that the sensitivity would benefit from the flavor tagging

Pair Production of Fourth Family Charged Sleptons at e+ee^{+}e^{-} Colliders

We study the pair production of l~4\tilde{l}_{4}, which is the supersymmetric partner of the fourth family charged lepton, at the e+ee^{+}e^{-} colliders. It is shown that the investigation of this process at ILC/CLIC will give opportunity to differentiate the MSSM with three and four families.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figure

Astragalus species are medicinal plants that are used in the world for years. Some Astragalus species are known for selenium accumulation and tolerance and one of them is Astragalus chrysochlorus, a secondary selenium accumulator. In this study, we employed Illumina deep sequencing technology for the first time to de novo assemble A. chrysochlorus transcriptome and identify the differentially expressed genes after selenate treatment. Totally, 59,656 unigenes were annotated with different databases and 53,960 unigenes were detected in NR database. Transcriptome in A. chrysochlorus is closer to Glycine max than other plant species with 43,1 percentage of similarity. Annotated unigenes were also used for gene ontology enrichment and pathway enrichment analysis. The most significant genes and pathways were ABC transporters, plant pathogen interaction, biosynthesis of secondary metabolites and carbohydrate metabolism. Our results will help to enlighten the selenium accumulation and tolerance mechanisms, respectively in plants

In response to the 2013 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics (EPPSU), the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study was launched as a world-wide international collaboration hosted by CERN. The FCC study covered an energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh), a highest-luminosity high-energy lepton collider (FCC-ee), the corresponding 100 km tunnel infrastructure, as well as the physics opportunities of these two colliders, and a high-energy LHC, based on FCC-hh technology. This document constitutes the third volume of the FCC Conceptual Design Report, devoted to the hadron collider FCC-hh. It summarizes the FCC-hh physics discovery opportunities, presents the FCC-hh accelerator design, performance reach, and staged operation plan, discusses the underlying technologies, the civil engineering and technical infrastructure, and also sketches a possible implementation. Combining ingredients from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the high-luminosity LHC upgrade and adding novel technologies and approaches, the FCC-hh design aims at significantly extending the energy frontier to 100 TeV. Its unprecedented centre-of-mass collision energy will make the FCC-hh a unique instrument to explore physics beyond the Standard Model, offering great direct sensitivity to new physics and discoveries
