    Get PDF
YesWithin the workplace, justice is influenced by the interpersonal relationships between colleagues and/or management among other things. The main reason for this research is to examine the correlation between organisational justice and the ethical behaviour of employees. Based on the literature, the conceptual model developed in this paper integrates distributive, procedural, interpersonal and informational justice in relation to ethical behaviour. By applying an adapted survey questionnaire, data were collected from teaching staff at public sector higher education institutions. Multiple regression analysis was applied to 360 samples and this showed that distributive and procedural justice have a more positive and significant impact than informational and interpersonal justice on the ethical behaviour of employees. This is an empirical study which may contribute to the literature on ethical behaviour, organisational development and employee development

The age of 224 fishes was determined by counting the translucent zone on the opercular bones and otoliths. Back calculated annual growth of the fish revealed that the absolute growth of the female was better than that of the male upto the third year. From the fourth year onwards the growth of the male exceeded the growth of the female

The purpose of research was to examine BAP and NAA on in vitro culture of vanilla at final stage of subculture. The research was carried out in October 2021 – January 2022 at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of Balai Benih Tanaman Perkebunan, Salatiga. This research used a 3x4 factorial complete randomized design with 4 replicates. The first factor is the BAP concentration levels at 0, 1 and 2 mg/l. The second factor is the concentration of NAA at 0, 1, 2 and 3 mg/l. The parameters of initiation root period, number of roots, root length, shoot length and number of leaves obtained were analyzed for variance; if it had an effect, it was continued with DMRT. Data on the number of shoots was analyzed descriptively. The results showed an interaction between the additions of BAP and NAA on root length and number of leaves. The addition of BAP significantly affects the number of roots and shoot length, and the highest results were achieved at concentration of 0 mg/l. The NAA concentration had a significant effect on the initiation root period and shoot length that was best achieved at 0 mg/l.

This study aims to examine the effect of growth and production of potato plants due to the application of gibberellins and paclobutrazol in medium land. This research was conducted in March 2022 – August 2022 in Kaloran District, Temanggung, Central Java. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a 4x4 factorial pattern with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. The first factor was the concentration of gibberellins, namely: G0 (0 ppm), G1 (50 ppm), G2 (75 ppm), and G3 (125 ppm). The second factor was the concentration of paclobutrazol, namely: P0 (0 ppm), P1 (75 ppm), P2 (150 ppm), and P3 (225 ppm). The results showed that there was no interaction effect between the application of gibberellin and paclobutrazol on the growth and production of potato plants. Gibberellin 50 ppm gave the best effect on germination age parameters. Gibberellin 75 ppm had the best effect on plant height. Paclobutrazol 75 ppm gave the best effect on plant height, number of leaves, and number of tubers. Paclobutrazol 150 ppm gave the best effect on tuber weight and harvest index parameters. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of gibberellins and paclobutrazol affected the growth and production of potato plants in medium land

© 2020 The Authors Meningitis and brain abscess caused by carbapenemase-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae (KPC) is rarely described in the medical literature. Such infections have been described after neurosurgical medium or post-trauma. We describe an unusual case of KPC meningitis originating from with long term intravenous antibiotics

The Number of sidewalk vendors in Bandung has reached 11,000 with no decline in growth according to the survey conducted by Indonesian University of Education/ Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) in collaboration with Badan Perencanaan dan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda or regional development planning agency) Bandung. Sidewalk vendor is one of the main contributors to the dirtiness and traffic congestion in Bandung. Bandung has passed a Regional Regulation Numbered 3 and 5 about Cleanliness, Orderliness and the Beauty to prevent and to build the sidewalk vendors. However, lack of legal awareness and law enforcement may constrain the effectiveness of the regulation. Those regulations are particularly Bandung Regional Regulation Numbered 4/ 2011 concerning sidewalk vendors in which imposing high fine sanction not only for the seller but also for the buyer to prevent them from violating those regulations. To analyze the the compliance level of society and the effectiveness of fine sanction for the violation of regulations, this research used juridical normative approach and comparative method by comparing the regulation in Bandung with other Regional regulations related to sidewalk vendors in other cities in Indonesia such as in Surakarta and Surabaya. This research found that the law enforcement to the violation of sidewalk vendors regulation in Bandung city is not optimum due to lack of awareness to obey the law. The criminal sanction such as fine and forced fees are not able to prevent the violation of sidewalk vendors regulations. This research suggest that The Regional government of Bandung City: (1) needs to find a right model to keep sidewalk vendors in order by looking at the characteristics of the society and its social culture; (2) needs to search for a way to increase society's compliance to any policies made by the government; and (3) needs to revise the current regulatio
