Accounting for material scatter in sheet metal forming simulations

Robust design of forming processes is gaining attention throughout the industry. To analyze the robustness of a sheet metal forming process using Finite Element (FE) simulations, an accurate input in terms of parameter variation is required. This paper presents a pragmatic, accurate and economic approach for measuring and modeling one of the main inputs, i.e. material properties and its associated scattering. For the purpose of this research, samples of 41 coils of a forming steel DX54D+Z (EN 10327:2004) from multiple batches have been collected. Fully determining the stochastic material behavior to the required accuracy for precise modeling in FE simulations would involve performing many mechanical experiments. Instead, the present work combines mechanical testing and texture analysis to limit the required effort. Moreover, use is made of the correlations between the material parameters to efficiently model the material property scatter for use in the numerical robustness analysis. The proposed approach is validated by the forming of a series of cup products using the collected material. The observed experimental scatter can be reproduced efficiently using FE simulations, demonstrating the potential of the modeling approach and robustness analysis in general

Pengaruh Kualitas Audit Terhadap Manajemen Laba Transaksi Real - Pengakuan Pendapatan Strategis

This study examined the effect of audit quality on real transaction earnings management in the form of strategic revenue recognition. Audit quality is measured by audit tenure with medium period and industry specialization of audit firms. Strategic revenue recognition is measured by the abnormal changes in short-term deferred revenue. The sample consisted of 1,113 firm-year observations of listed companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for seven years (2004-2010). By using multiple regression of pooled cross-sectional data, we find some evidence of the influence of audit quality on strategic revenue recognition, i.e.; industry specialization of audit firms has a positive effect on abnormal changes in deferred revenue. We have no evidence that audit tenure with a medium period has influence on the abnormal changes in deferred revenue. Our findings are robust, after considering the results of sensitivity tests that support to the main result

Prototipe Alat Pembanding Warna RGB Portabel Berbasis Sensor Warna TCS230 ini dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui perbandingan Warna RGB pada hasil cetak sesuai dengan sampel yang diminta. Alat ini membaca inputberupa warna pada hasil cetak dan sampel produk, sedangkan keluarannya berupa LCD yang akan menampilkan hasil perbandingan antara sampel dan obyek apakah kedua input tersebut sesuai dengan batas toleransi atau tidak, batas toleransi di-set kurang lebih 10 poin pada tiap RGB. Sensor ini akan membaca dan mendeteksi kandungan RGB dari kedua input. Jika kandungan RGB sampel sama dengan kandungan RGB obyek, maka hasil produk tersebut telah sesuai. Sebaliknya jika kandungan RGB sampel tidak sama dengan kandungan RGB produk, maka produk tersebut tidak sesuai. Alat ini menggunakan mikrokontroler sebagai otak atau pusat pemrosesan data dari keseluruhan kinerja sistem. Alat ini dapat digunakan untuk membandingkan Warna RGB karena mampu menganalisis kandungan warna RGB antara obyek dan sampel sesuai dengan toleransi yang ditentukan, dan mampu menentukan apakah hasil pengujian tersebut sesuai dengan batas toleransi atau tidak. Dengan alat yang sudah dirancang dan diinplementasikan ini tentunya akan sangat membantu dalam hal pendeteksian dan pengecekan warna RGB hasil cetak

FAKTOR LINGKUNGAN RUMAH YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN ISPA PADA BALITA DI DUSUN I DAN II DESA NEFOKOKO KECAMATAN MOLLO UTARA KABUPATEN TIMOR TENGAH SELATAN

Infeksi Saluran Pernapasan Akut (ISPA) adalah penyakit infeksi yang menyerang salah satu bagian atau lebih dari saluran napas, mulai dari hidung (saluran atas) hingga alveoli (saluran bawah) termasuk jaringan andeksanya seperti sinus, rongga telinga tengah, dan pleura. Salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya ISPA adalah kondisi lingkungan rumah (ventilasi, lantai rumah dan letak dapur). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor lingkungan rumah yang berhubungan dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita di Dusun I dan II Desa Nefokoko Kecamatan Mollo Utara Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dan besaran sampel 76 responden. Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan uji chi square menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara ventilasi dengan kejadian ISPA (p=0,002), lantai rumah (p=0,040) dan letak dapur (p=0,003). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa keadaan lingkungan fisik rumah sangat berkaitan erat dengan kejadian ISPA pada balita. Jika keadaan fisik rumah tidak sesuai dengan standar kesehatan semakin besar terjadinya ISPA pada balita.   Kata Kunci: ISPA, Faktor Lingkungan Rumah

Perbandingan Metode-Metode Klasifikasi Untuk Indoor Positioning System

Indoor Positioning System can provide position and navigation guidances inside a building. This paper discusses about systematic comparison between K-Nearest Neigbors and Naïve Bayes Classifier over WiFi-based Indoor Position System dataset. The dataset is collected using a custom Android Application, which able to receive and record WiFi signal strengths from the surrounding WiFi hotspots in UKDW campus. The dataset consists of 11658 Received Signal Strength (RSS) data from 41 public locations in UKDW campus. We use 10-folds cross validation and T-Test with 0.05 significance level to compare classification accuracy between K-Nearest Neigbors and Naïve Bayes classifier. Based on the experiment result, we can conclude that K-Nearest Neighbors classifier produces better classification accuracy (83.58%) than Naïve Bayes (61.52%)

Hybrid Identification System with ARX and Fast Fourier Transform in Application of a Quarter of Vehicle HalfActive Suspension. In a control system problem, identification system mechanism is a absolute thing, especially inadaptation controlling to disturbance changing. For that case, is needed an identification method which can identify thechanging of disturbance in that system. The aim of this research is to give an alternative in system/plant identificationwhich is a combination (hybrid) of ARX and Fast Fourier Transform. So, it is needed an algorithm design foridentification process. In this case, the designed algorithm will be implemented in software that works based on Matlab.The result of car mass 500Kg in seventh second with first way disturbance is the biggest frequency at this time.Operation frequency produced is 27.4889Hz, estimation model magnitude is 1.3431E-006 and estimation model phaseis -86.8307. The result of car mass 1000Kg in 15th-second, with second way disturbance is the biggest frequency at thistime. Operation frequency produced is 3.9270Hz, estimation model magnitude is 1.1780E-006 and estimation modelphase is 131,5950. These results show that as lighter car mass when disturbance happened by road surface, as bigger theoperation frequency happen

Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Terhadap Kinerja Individual

Pemanfaatan sistem infomasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Salah satu faktor pencapaian kinerja organisasi ditentukan oleh kinerja individual karyawannya dalam penggunaan sistem informasi tersebut. Beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) menemukan bahwa pemanfaatan sistem informasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor perceived ease of use (PEOU) dan perceived usefulness (PU). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh PEOU dan PU terhadap kinerja individual yang dimediasi oleh perilaku (use behavior).. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan pada seluruh populasi, dan sejumlah 56 kuesioner yang dinyatakan valid. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan teknik regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PEOU dan PU memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap use behavior (UB), dan UB menjadi mediator signifikan atas kinerja individual. This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of equity sensitivity and ethical sensitivity to the ethical behavior of auditors in the public accounting firm in Surabaya in 2016. The sample used in this study were fifty eight respondents, which were auditors in the city of Surabaya, where the data was collected through questionnaires distributed. The analysis is based on respondents\u27 answers were obtained through a questionnaire with random method (random) were distributed in the city of Surabaya. Implementasi Algoritma Generate and Test Pada Pencarian Rute Terpendek

Masalah pencarian merupakan masalah yang umum diterapkan pada sistem berdasarkan Kecerdasan Buatan. Salah satu metode pencarian heuristik dalam terminology Kecerdasan Buatan yang cukup dikenal adalah Generate and Test. Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP) atau dipahami sebagai pencarian jalur terpendek sering diimplementasikan ke dalam dunia nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan konsep pencarian heuristik dengan algoritma Generate and Test pada pencarian rute terpendek dengan studi kasus bus Trans Jogja. Parameter yang digunakan adalah jarak atau waktu. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sebuah sistem yang mampu menemukan rute terpendek, rute alternatif (jika ada), saran trayek yang digunakan beserta analisis perhitungan setiap rute yang ditemukan
