Auditoría forense y gestión administrativa en el área de abastecimiento de la Unidad Ejecutora 005. PNP, Ancash – 2021

En esta tesis, se tiene como objetivo general: Determinar la relación de la Auditoría Forense y la Gestión Administrativa del Área de Abastecimiento en la Unidad Ejecutora 005. PNP, Ancash – 2021. Su metodología ha sido de enfoque cuantitativo, conforme con lo expuesto por Otero (2018), su diseño es no experimental y la muestra estuvo conformada por 20 colaboradores del área de la Institución en estudio. Los resultados evidenciaron la relación que existe entre Auditoría Forense y Gestión Administrativa del Área materia del presente estudio, al obtener una correlación positiva moderada de 0.607 de acuerdo al examen estadístico de Rho de Spearman. Posterior a ello , se reflejó en los resultados de las encuestas realizadas a los colaboradores, quienes indican que la Auditoría Forense incide en la gestión Administrativa , concluyendo que dichos resultados demuestran que el 60 % de colaboradores afirman que se ejecuta la Auditoria Forense en un nivel de logro, así mismo el 60% que menciona que si se logró una buena Gestión Administrativa; en concordancia a la prueba estadística de correlación se obtuvo valor de 0.005 siendo menor a 0.05, por lo tanto, se rechaza la hipótesis nula y se acepta la hipótesis de los investigadore

Diseño y evaluación de RACS para la relación del nivel de riesgos según el tipo de incidentes en labores de infraestructura minera - Semaint S.R.L., 2019

La reportabilidad de 1,356 incidentes por los colaboradores de la organización Semaint S.R.L., genera un problema de evaluación de los niveles de riesgo, que mantiene una desviación estándar o estadística y existe la necesidad de diseñar y evaluar nuevo formato RACS para corregir la evaluación y construir una relación no paramétrica del nivel de riesgo alto con el tipo de incidentes en las actividades de fabricación, montaje y mantenimiento mecánico de infraestructura minera de la empresa Semaint S.R.L., en un diseño no experimental, transeccional, correlacional, con el método inductivo; para obtener los resultados fue necesario diseñar e implantar nuevo formato de reporte RACS e insertar en él una matriz de riesgos, para establecer las correlaciones estadísticas no paramétricas entre el nivel de riesgos y el tipo de incidentes hallando así la causa raíz del problema. El resultado estadístico no paramétrico a nivel post test arrojó al 99% de confianza coeficientes de Rho de Spearman de: 0.801, 0.820 y 0.770 para los grados de riesgo bajo, medio y alto respectivamente, con una fiabilidad del instrumento de investigación, utilizando el método α de Cronbach de 0.859. El diseño del nuevo formato RACS, ha corregido la imperfecta evaluación del nivel de riesgos y ha establecido relación directa, positiva a un nivel de confianza del 99% entre el tipo de incidentes y los niveles de riesgo en la reportabilidad de los mismos.The reportability of 1,356 incidents by the employees of the Semaint SRL organization, generates a problem of evaluation of the risk levels, which maintains a standard or statistical deviation and there is a need to design and evaluate a new RACS format to correct the evaluation and build a non-parametric relationship of the high risk level with the type of incidents in the activities of manufacturing, assembly and mechanical maintenance of mining infrastructure of the company Semaint SRL, in a non-experimental, transectional, descriptive-correlational design, with the inductive method; To obtain the results, it was necessary to design and implement a new RACS report format and insert a risk matrix into it, to establish non-parametric statistical correlations between the level of risks and the type of incidents, thus finding the root cause of the problem. The non-parametric statistical result at the post-test level yielded Spearman's Rho coefficients at 99% confidence of: 0.801, 0.820 and 0.770 for the degrees of low, medium and high risk respectively, with a reliability of the research instrument, using the method Cronbach's α of 0.859. The design of the new RACS format has corrected the imperfect evaluation of the level of risks and has established a direct, positive relationship at a 99% confidence level between the type of incidents and the levels of risk in their reportability.Campus Arequip

Design fictions:a tool for debating societal, legal and ethical aspects of personal and pervasive health systems

The potential benefits offered by health-related technologies are counterpoised by the societal, legal and ethical challenges concomitant with the pervasive monitoring of people necessitated by such technological interventions. Through the ProtoPolicy research project we explored the production and use of design fictions as a tool for debating the societal, legal and ethical dimensions of personal health systems. Two design fictions were co-created and tested in a series of design workshops with community groups based in Lancashire and Cornwall, UK. A thematic analysis of a debate among older people from the Lancaster group on the Smart Object Therapist (SOT) design fiction highlighted societal and ethical issues relevant to personal health system design. We conclude that ethics like ‘usability’ may be usefully based on engagement with directly or indirectly implicated publics and should not be designed into innovation by experts alone

Race, Slavery, and the Expression of Sexual Violence in Louisa Picquet, The Octoroon

Historically, victims of sexual violence have rarely left written accounts of their abuse, so while sexual violence has long been associated with slavery in the United States, historians have few accounts from formerly enslaved people who experienced it first-hand. Through a close reading of the narrative of Louisa Picquet, a survivor of sexual violence in Georgia and Louisiana, this article reflects on the recovery of evidence of sexual violence under slavery through amanuensis-recorded testimony, the unintended evidence of survival within the violent archive of female slavery, and the expression of “race” as an authorial device through which to demonstrate the multigenerational nature of sexual victimhood

Generation and compression of a target plasma for magnetized target fusion

This is the final report of a three-year, Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) project at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). Magnetized target fusion (MTF) is intermediate between the two very different approaches to fusion: inertial and magnetic confinement fusion (ICF and MCF). Results from collaboration with a Russian MTF team on their MAGO experiments suggest they have a target plasma suitable for compression to provide an MTF proof of principle. This LDRD project had tow main objectives: first, to provide a computational basis for experimental investigation of an alternative MTF plasma, and second to explore the physics and computational needs for a continuing program. Secondary objectives included analytic and computational support for MTF experiments. The first objective was fulfilled. The second main objective has several facets to be described in the body of this report. Finally, the authors have developed tools for analyzing data collected on the MAGO a nd LDRD experiments, and have tested them on limited MAGO data
