EFEKTIVITAS PELAKSANAAN PERSIDANGAN VIRTUAL (ONLINE) PADA PEMERIKSAAN PERKARA PIDANA DI WILAYAH HUKUM PENGADILAN NEGERI PONTIANAK

n social life in recent years (2019-2021), due to the Covid-19 outbreak, a new term has emerged called New Normal, namely the application of social distancing or physical distancing health protocols. The implementation of these health protocols in Indonesia in the past year has had an impact on people's work routines and social interactions. The risk of community infection with the spread of Covid-19 has formed a new habit for many people, such as wearing masks in their daily lives, sitting or standing while keeping their distance, limiting interactions or prohibiting crowds or crowds, to the maximum use of information technology as a means of communication or interaction. Furthermore, drastic changes occur in a short span of time, the reality of life changes unfolds with many challenges. One of them is included in the world of justice in Indonesia. In the Criminal Justice System in Indonesia, so far, of course, it has taken advantage of conventional media, such as the courtroom and its devices, limited communication tools, and other means of examination in court proceedings. Since its launch in 2018 the application of electronic case administration (e-Court) has drastically changed the paradigm which initially required the parties to come directly to the court to register their cases. E-Court is regulated in the Republic of Indonesia Supreme Court Regulation (Perma) Number 1 of 2019 concerning Electronic Administration of Cases and Trials in Courts. Whereas in criminal cases, Virtual (Online) Trials are regulated in Perma RI Number 4 of 2020 concerning Administration and Trial of Criminal Cases in Courts Electronically. However, e-Court itself has not been regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) as a general provision of criminal procedural law in Indonesia, what should be avoided is that there is a legal vacuum in the formal criminal law. Because this is closely related to the effectiveness of examinations in court hearings, proof by presenting witnesses, experts, evidence. Pelestarian Khazanah Adat Aceh Bagi Kawula Muda Menurut Qanun No. 8 Tahun 2019 tentang Majelis Adat Aceh

Disaat zaman semakin canggih dan modern, Adat Aceh semakin memprihatinkan khususnya pada kawula muda yang semakin tidak mengenal adat dan budaya Aceh. Sejak adanya Qanun No. 8 Tahun 2019 Tentang Majelis Adat Aceh, khususnya di kota Langsa membuat kita menyadari arti penting dari melestarikan dan mewariskan adat dan istiadat Aceh terhadap generasi muda di Kota Langsa. Maka, dalam masalah yang akan diteliti kali ini penulis merumuskan dua hal yakni bagaimana langkah-langkah dan hambatan Majelis Adat Aceh Kota Langsa dalam melestarikan dan mewariskan khazanah adat Aceh bagi kawula muda pada implementasi Qanun No. 8 Tahun 2019 Tentang Majelis Adat Aceh di Kota Langsa. Adapun metode penelitian adalah menggunakan yuridis empiris dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasil pembahasan dijelaskan dalam bentuk kualitatif yakni deskripsi terhadap gambaran-gambaran dan kejadian yang terjadi di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa langkah-langkah yang ditempuh oleh Majelis Adat Aceh kota Langsa dalam melestarikan dan mewariskan khazanah adat Aceh bagi kawula muda di kota langsa adalah masih pada tahap memperkenalkan dan mensosialisasikan adat istiadat Aceh untuk anak-anak sekolah. Sedangkan, hambatan yang dihadapi oleh Majelis Adat Aceh Kota Langsa selain dana operasional yang tidak ada, yakni MAA Kota Langsa hanya berfungsi menghimbau, bukan pada posisi menyuruh atau melarang terkait dengan adat-adat di kota Langsa. MAA focus menunggu terbentuknya Lembaga adat/ peradilan adat yang ada di gampong-gampong yang merupakan ujung tombak untuk berjalannya dan lestarinya adat Aceh di gampong

The Contribution of Academic Supervision and Teacher Working Group on Teachers’ Pedagogical Competence

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) an overview of the implementation of academic supervision, the Teacher Working Group (KKG), and teachers’ pedagogic competences; 2) The effect of academic supervision and the Teacher Working Group (KKG) on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Manggala District, Makassar City. This quantitative study was performed in the form of an associative research. The objects of this study were 309 elementary school teachers at 30 schools in Manggala District, Makassar City. Samples were 50% of the total population (155 people) selected using a proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected from questionnaire, observation, and documentation. The obtained data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and hypotheses were tested based on inferential statistic test. The results of the study showed that: The effectiveness of academic supervision was regarded moderate, while the Teacher Working Group (KKG) was considered effective. In addition, teachers’ pedagogical competence was categorized moderate category. Furthermore, the academic supervision and the Teacher Working Group showed a positive and significant contribution on the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers in Manggala Kota District Makassar. Thus, it can be concluded that academic supervision activities carried out by school principals and activities carried out in the Teacher Working Group (KKG) forum improved elementary school teachers’ pedagogical competence

Cultural Signs in Toraja Novels; When Love Finds Its Way Home; Charles Sanders Pierce Semiotic Studies

The aims of this research are; (1) Describe the form of cultural signs in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home based on Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic theory. (2) Describe the meaning of cultural signs in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds Its Way Home.  This research is a qualitative research. The data in this study are data obtained from novels in the form of icons, indexes and symbols as well as data obtained from interviews. Sources of data in this study is a novel entitled Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home by Endang, SSN, and also an informant who is the head of the Ke'te Kesu' tradition in North Toraja. The data collection technique used in this study is a documentation technique which includes observing and recording the various signs that are needed, as well as using open interview techniques.  The results of this study indicate that the form of the sign is more dominant in the novel Toraja; When Love Finds its Way Home is a symbol consisting of five data. In addition to symbols, researchers also found signs in the form of icons (one data) and indexes (two data). As we know that based on his criteria, Pierce distinguishes signs into three, namely icons, indexes and symbols

Robert Stanton's Structuralism in Andrea Hirata's Novel the Dreamer and Paulo Coelho's Novel the Alchemist

This study aims to describe the comparison between the facts of the story based on the structural analysis of Robert Stanton in Andrea Hirata's novel Sang Pe dreamer and Paulo Coelho's Sang Alchemist novel. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In collecting data, this research uses a documentation study method by using reading and note-taking techniques. The data obtained were analyzed using structuralism theory according to Robert Stanton's fictional theory, then concluded with a comparative literature approach. The results of this study indicate that there are differences and similarities in the facts of the story contained in Andrea Hirata's novel The Dreamer and Paulo Coelho's Sang Pe dreamer. The similarity is that the facts of the story contained in the two novels are equally related to reveal the same theme of the story. The difference between the two novels is the concept of characterization, plot, and setting. This difference is strongly influenced by the authors' backgrounds and very different cultures

Classification of Emotions of Characters in Novels Above the Pen You are Applying for Me by E. Shabila El Raihany and Its Contribution as Teaching Materials in High School (David Krech's Study of Literary Psychology)

Moral decline has disturbed society at large as a result of unconsciousness in managing emotions. Therefore, efforts are needed to build a cultured and civilized national identity. This study describes 1) the classification of the emotions of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany, 2) the contribution of the classification of emotions of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany as Indonesian language teaching materials in high school. Data were analyzed by identifying, classifying, analyzing, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that 1) the emotional classification of the character of David Krech is not an emotion that develops independently but dynamically and can form personal integrity, 2) the contribution of the emotional classification of characters in the novel Di Atas Pena You Melamarku by E. Shabila El Raihany as teaching material has been in accordance with the basic competencies that exist in the 2013 Curriculum in SM

Research Material Development of Drama Appreciation Based on Local Wisdom on Student in Indonesian Literature and Language Education Program at Muhammadiyyah University of Makassar Indonesia

This research is a development research which aimed to produce teaching materials of the drama appreciation based on local wisdom on the students of the Indonesia literature and language education Faculty of Teacher and the Education Muhammadiyah University of Makassar which is valid, practical and effective. This is a Research and Development (R & D) study by using 4-D model of development Thiagarajan through stages: (1) assessment or initial tracing of topics that will be constructed or reconstructed; (2) development of teaching materials products from the findings that has been achieved; (3) experimental material trial testers that have been developed at the research site and the product will be used (4) improvement of teaching materials in accordance with the findings in the preliminary situation in the field. The results of the research are (1) The teaching materials product of drama appreciation based on Bugis Makassar local wisdom is valid because the average validity of the validation result of the material expert M = 3.54 is in the "Very Valid" class. (2) The product of study material of drama appreciation based on local wisdom of Bugis Makassar is considered practical because the average value obtained is M = 2, it can be concluded that this value belongs to the class " fully implemented” (3) based on effectiveness criteria of teaching materials product based on local wisdom drama appreciation Bugis Makassar declared effective as data showed that the maximum completeness met and that 91.89% of students who received a score of 75 and above

Bentuk, Fungsi, dan Nilai Ungkapan Bugis Masyarakat Bone

Judul penelitian ini adalah Bentuk, Fungsi, dan Nilai Ungkapan Bugis Masyarakat Bone. Penelitian ini membahas tentang  eksplorasi mengenai bentuk, fungsi, dan nilai ungkapan bugis masyarakat Bone yang selama ini belum pernah dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan, mengeksplorasi, dan mengeksplanasi bentuk, fungsi, dan nilai ungkapan bugis masyrakat Bone.            Penelitian ini secara teoretis dapat dijadikan oleh  para ilmuwan untuk memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini sebagai wawasan baru, bahan kajian, dan bahan penelitian lanjutan tentang sastra lisan masyarakat bugis Bone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk ungkapan bahasa bugis masyarakat Bone memiliki enam bentuk, yaitu peribahasa, perumpamaan, pepatah, ibarat, pemeo, dan  idiom.  Fungsi ungkapan bahasa bugis masyarakat Bone memiliki empat fungsi yaitu fungsi edukatif, fungsi etik pribadi, fungsi moral, dan fungsi sosial. Nilai ungkapan bahasa bugis masyarakat Bone memiliki tiga nilai, yaitu nilai relegius, nilai filosofis, nilai etis. Nilai relegius berisi  nilai  pengakuan adanya Tuhan dan pengakuan adanya takdir baik dan takdir buruk. Nilai filosofis berisi nilai  manusia sebagai makhluk Tuhan, manusia sebagai makhluk pribadi, dan manusia sebagai makhluk sosial. Nilai etis berisi nilai  etika terhadap tuhan, etika terhadap diri sendiri, dan etika terhadap sesama manusia
