    PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN PENCEGAHAN SKABIES DI PONDOK PESANTREN AL-ARIFIN

    Scabies is a skin disease caused by investment and sensitivity by Sarcoptes scabei mites, often found in Islamic boarding schools, because of the place was humid and the students' knowledge about life style was lack. Health Education was intended to increase the knowledge of the students at Al-Arifin Islamic boarding school about scabies and how to prevent it. The method of implementation in this community service activities was started from planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation. Health education was carried out through lectures and discussion by leaflets and PowerPoint presentations. The results showed 70.00% of participants gave an excellent rating of health education. Scabies health education activities provide benefits to improve health degree of public health specifically in the boarding school environment. Health education about scabies in the boarding school environment was very useful for increasing the knowledge of the students.

    Personal Hygiene memiliki peran utama dalam meningkatkan kesehatan individu. Salah satu Lembaga yang dapat menjadi mitra penting dalam menanamkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada setiap individu adalah pondok pesantren. Salah satu upaya promotif untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan di pondok pesantren adalah dengan melaksanakan pendidikan kesehatan. Metode pelaksaan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dimulai dari tahapan survey, assessment, persiapan, kegiatan inti dan terakhir adalah evaluasi kegiatan sebagai tolok ukur tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan. Kegiatan pendidikan Kesehatan dilakukan dengan cara ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Peserta kegiatan mendapat mendemontrasikan praktik cuci tangan 6 langkah dengan baik dan benar. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan 60,00% peserta memberikan penilaian sangat baik terhadap kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan. Kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat khususnya komunitas tertentu seperti di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Kegiatan ini perlu digalakan secara lebih luas agar lebih banyak masyarakat yang dapat melakukan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat salah satunya cuci tangan 6 langkah dengan menggunakan air mengalir

    Combination of Music and Guided Imagery on Relaxation Therapy to Relief Pain Scale of Post-Operative Patients

    Aim: This literature review aims to explain the effectiveness of combination relaxation therapies with music and imagery technique to reduce the quality and quantity of pain experienced by post-operative patients. Methods: The research data were identified from 5 journal databases including PubMed, JSTOR, Willey Online Library, Sage Journal and Taylor Francis Online by using the PIOS (Participant, Intervention, Outcomes and Study Design) method and MesH term on advanced search engines. Additional records identified through Google Scholar and Research Gate. The articles that become research data are articles published in 1998ā€“2018 in English version, open access and full-text in the form of original research articles. Results: Eight articles that were screened using PRISMA reviewed without meta-analysis consisted of four articles intervening in a combination of relaxation with music and four articles combining with imagery. Conclusion: The combination of relaxation techniques with music, as well as a combination of relaxation techniques with effective imagery are used to reduce pain. Based on the analysis of the results in several studies, it can be found that patient education about relaxation therapy should be given to all surgical patients to help improve patientā€™s comfort and enhance tissue healing.

    The Effect Music Therapy on Quality of Sleep

    Background Music therapy is a non-pharmacological therapy that combines mind-body therapy as an intervention technique that shapes thinking processes so that it affects psychological and physical conditions (bodily functions). Objectives This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of music on sleep quality accompanied by sleep complaints with or without comorbid medical conditions. Data Sources We conducted data searches from Cochrane, PubMed, Willey Online Library, JSTOR, Sage Journal, Taylor Francis Online, Springer and Science Direct. Method This study uses the PIOS (Participants, interventions, outcomes, Study design) and Mesh methods in finding data. Results Fourteen randomized controlled trials with six treatment conditions and a total of 633 participants with 319 participants in the intervention group and 314 controls met our inclusion criteria. Music therapy has a moderate effect on sleep quality of patients with sleep complaints with an average difference of -0.44 (95% CI: -1.01 to 0.33). Conclusion Music therapy is an initiative that is easy to implement, practical, and inexpensive and has no side effects and can be done in nursing practice to treat sleep problems in various populations in Indonesia

    Introduction: Postoperative pain is a problem of passen complaints that often occur mostly in hospitals as a consequence of post-surgery that cannot be avoided. The negative effects of pain can be controlled by managing nyen which is a very important part of patient care including the provision of pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy in the form of cognitive behavioral interventions such as relaxation techniques, music therapy, imagery and biofeedback. Overcoming pain in postoperative patients by providing music therapy. Method: This research method used an experimental design with a literature review approach. The search for articles used 6 journal databases including PubMed, JSTOR Wiley Online Library, Sage Journal and Taylor & Francis Online and Google Scholar as many as 6 articles that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed. All articles were selected using an assessment of articles that met the inclusion criteria, including publication range 2015-2020, in English and Indonesian, open access full text pdf. There are also exclusion criteria, namely book chapters, abstract proceedings and posters. This assessment uses the Critical Appraisal Skills Programmed (CASP) instrument. Result: The selection results obtained 6 articles with 137 respondents with an average age of 24 years. The results of the review show that the music therapy method has a positive effect on helping to overcome pain in the nursing process for postoperative patients. Conclusion: Conclusion based on the literature review, it can be found that the provision of music therapy has a better activity in postoperative pain management. The suggestion of this literature review is that this music therapy can be applied directly in the hospital which aims to reduce the nyen response to post-patient patients

    Prevalence and Correlation of Knowledge Level with Stress of Patients with Hypertension

    Introduction: High blood pressure causes several complications such as heart failure, kidney failure, stroke, circulation problems and death. Hypertension can be triggered by stress due to activation of the sympathetic nervous system which causes an intermittent increase in blood pressure. Patient's knowledge of hypertension is an important factor in controlling blood pressure and reducing stress levels. Objective: This study aims to determine the prevalence and correlation of the level of knowledge and stress in people with hypertension. Methods: This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were hypertension patients in the Public Health Centre of Cijeungjing working area who were more than 30 years old with a total 101. The research sample was taken as many as 50 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge of hypertension and the perceived stress scale (PSS-10) as a measure of stress levels. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 20 with Chi Square statistical test. Results: The results showed that the majority of respondents had more knowledge than the average of 27 people (54%). While the majority of respondents' stress levels were in the medium category, namely as many as 33 people (66%). Conclusion: Based on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that there is no significant relationship between knowledge and stress levels of hypertensive patients as evidenced by the value Ī± <Ļ value (0.05> 0.067) and the value of chi square (X2) count <chi square (X2) table (5.709 < 12,592)

    A Systematic Review Self-Care Education Program among Type II DM Patients

    Introduction: The prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus was substantially increased around the world, resulting complications and death. Objective: The self-care education program aimed patients to prevent complications and to increase their quality of life is needed. Method: The method used with the help of an electronic data base from journals that have been published through PubMed, Wiley, and Google Scholar as many as 7 articles from 646 articles reviewed. Results: Description of Diabetes Mellitus self-care education program implementation on body biochemical improvement, life quality improvement from physiological, psychological, knowledge, and attitude side. Conclusion:Ā  self-care education program that consisted of providing health education to patients and families with a variety of learning methods, training and discussion where patients and families are involved in activities, both in exploring the patient's feelings to goal setting and intervention. Implementation of this self-care education program can be applied to health services with the adjustment of media based on the local conditions

    Telenursing is a long-distance treatment that utilizes the development of information and communication technology. Telenursing can be used by families who treat patients with chronic illness at home so it can be directed and controlled in their care. The objective of this Literature Review is to explain the effect of telenursing on quality of life among patient with chronic disease. There were 2,060 articles found, a screening process was carried out using PRISMA Flowchart to eliminate articles that did not meet the criteria. In this literature review study, 9 articles were found that proved that the use of telenursing interventions could improve patients satisfaction and quality of life. This study reinforced the findings of previous research studies that showed that telenursing was effective to be used in the process of treating patients with chronic disease

The benefits of yoga in general could increase strength, flexibility, train balance, reduce pain, train breathing, smooth organ function, inner calm and improve quality of life. Several differences in the results of studies can influence the decisions of patients and health providers in planning appropriate interventions for breast cancer patients.
