Video Data Visualization System: Semantic Classification And Personalization
We present in this paper an intelligent video data visualization tool, based
on semantic classification, for retrieving and exploring a large scale corpus
of videos. Our work is based on semantic classification resulting from semantic
analysis of video. The obtained classes will be projected in the visualization
space. The graph is represented by nodes and edges, the nodes are the keyframes
of video documents and the edges are the relation between documents and the
classes of documents. Finally, we construct the user's profile, based on the
interaction with the system, to render the system more adequate to its
references.Comment: graphic
Viscometric Investigations on Zirconyl Soaps in Benzene-Chloroform Mixture
The density and viscosity of the solutions of Zirconyl soaps (hexanoate, octanoate, decanoate and dodecanoate) in a benzene-chloroform (4:1 v/v) mixture were measured at a constant temperature 40±05ÂșC. The density and viscosity results were explained on the basis of equations proposed by Einstein, Vand, Moulik and Jones-Dole. The values of molar volume evaluates by using Einsteinâs and Vandâs equations were found to be in close agreement. The result of Jones-Dole equation confirm that soap molecules do not aggregate appreciably in dilute solutions. The values of CMC for Zirconyl soaps from density and viscosity measurements were in agreement
Urgensi Filsafat Dakwah dalam Meningkatkan Kompetensi Calon Praktisi Dakwah
This paper seeks to explain the urgency of the philosophy of da'wah for developing students' understanding of daâwah science-related units in the Department of Islamic Communication and Broadcast, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel (UINSA) Surabaya. Applying a library and field research, this study has found that the daâwah philosophy unit has contributed to the increase of students' understanding about the scope and area of da'wah science. In addition, the unit of da'wah philosophy has provided philosophical methodology that is useful for examining the process of da'wah, including critical thinking, for those who are candidate of Islamic preachers (daâi), namely the students of Daâwah and Communication Faculty
Arabic Creative Writing Learning using WSQA (Word, Sentence, Question, & Answer) Method: An Attempt on Quality Upgrading of Labor Demands
Arabic language has been spoken in the Middle East area since a long time. It is the Lingua Franca in this area. Many particular job markets such as construction or manufacturing and housemaid in Arab world require high-grade quality of employees and workers. One of the solutions to get the quality upgrading of employee and worker is the comprehensive foreign-language training. The employees have to speak and write Arabic language correctly. They are made to practice the language skill using the WSQA method. The WSQA (Word, Sentence, Question, and Answer) is a new model for creative writing. To get the best quality of mastering vocabularies, a beginner of foreign-language learning can use the WSQA model to improve the quality of writing and speaking. This article tries to offer the solution of quality upgrading of labor demands under the language training using the WSQA model, especially for the Indonesian employees or workers who have the great desire to get a particular job in the Arab world. This article will elaborate two basic problems, first about the implementation of WSQA method in basic sentence (nominal sentence) in Arabic language, and the second is the improving of writing skill using WSQA method for the employee and workers as the attempt on quality upgrading of labor demands.

Internship Program As a Strategy for Employability in Bahrain
This article discusses the available literature on the human capital theories and that are related to vocational education and training in some of the developing countries. Issues and concerned were discussed. Although University College Bahrain (UCB) is not an institution that solely runs on VET but the idea of VET is related. UCB introduces courses that applied internship practice in its degree program as a major strategy for employability as presented in this article. It also took into account the concerned and the challenges faced by the institution.

Pengaruh Kualitas Produk Terhadap International Brand Image Serta Dampaknya Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Studi Pada Mahasiswa Pembeli Dan Pengguna Laptop Lenovo Di Fakultas Ilmu Administrasi Universitas Brawijaya)
The purpose of this study was to determine the Quality Product of the International Brand Image as well as the impact on the purchase decision. In this study the variables used are product quality while International Brand Image and Purchase Decision as an endogenous variable. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences UB Malang on the purchasers and users of Lenovo, involving respondents as many as 88 respondents where 35 male respondents and 53 female respondents. The sampling technique using the formula of Machin and Campbell (1987). Based on the analysis show that the variable Product Quality positive effect on the variable International Brand Image and Purchase Decisions
Mid-infrared emission and absorption in strained and relaxed direct bandgap GeSn semiconductors
By independently engineering strain and composition, this work demonstrates
and investigates direct band gap emission in the mid-infrared range from GeSn
layers grown on silicon. We extend the room-temperature emission wavelength
above ~4.0 {\mu}m upon post-growth strain relaxation in layers with uniform Sn
content of 17 at.%. The fundamental mechanisms governing the optical emission
are discussed based on temperature-dependent photoluminescence, absorption
measurements, and theoretical simulations. Regardless of strain and
composition, these analyses confirm that single-peak emission is always
observed in the probed temperature range of 4-300 K, ruling out defect- and
impurity-related emission. Moreover, carrier losses into thermally-activated
non-radiative recombination channels are found to be greatly minimized as a
result of strain relaxation. Absorption measurements validate the direct band
gap absorption in strained and relaxed samples at energies closely matching
photoluminescence data. These results highlight the strong potential of GeSn
semiconductors as versatile building blocks for scalable, compact, and
silicon-compatible mid-infrared photonics and quantum opto-electronics
KETERBACAAN ANALISIS DAN DISKUSI MANAJEMEN DALAM LAPORAN TAHUNAN (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Yang Terdaftar Di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2014)
MD&A is the important part in the annual report, as it speaks to all
stakeholders about companies performance and future plans, it should be readable
and comprehensible. The main objective of this study is to determine the
readability of MD&A from manufacture companies in Indonesia.
The population in this study consist of all manufacture companies listed
firms in Indonesia Stock Exchange in year 2014. Sampling method used is simple
random sampling. A total sample of 107 companies were used in this analysis. The
data is analyzed using readability index and statistic descriptive analysis.
The empirical results of this study show that the MD&A are difficult to read
and comprehend, it require 12,080 years of formal education before they can fully
understood
Stabilization of carbon nanotubes by filling with inner tubes: An optical spectroscopy study on double-walled carbon nanotubes under hydrostatic pressure
The stabilization of carbon nanotubes via the filling with inner tubes is
demonstrated by probing the optical transitions in double-walled carbon
nanotube bundles under hydrostatic pressure with optical spectroscopy.
Double-walled carbon nanotube films were prepared from fullerene peapods and
characterized by HRTEM and optical spectroscopy. In comparison to single-walled
carbon nanotubes, the pressure-induced redshifts of the optical transitions in
the outer tubes are significantly smaller below 10 GPa, demonstrating the
enhanced mechanical stability due to the inner tube already at low pressures.
Anomalies at the critical pressure P12 GPa signal the onset of the
pressure-induced deformation of the tubular cross-sections. The value of P
is in very good agreement with theoretical predictions of the pressure-induced
structural transitions in double-walled carbon nanotube bundles with similar
average diameters.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures; to appear in Phys. Rev.
