Educational memory and children’s marks in the constitution of subjectivity: Sharing experiences in a public school of Brasília
psíquicoThinking about the place of educational memory is necessary from the recognition of
writing as the core of the subject, constituting predictions that enunciate and refer to what
we are. This paper is based on analyzing possible implications of the teacher's role in the
constitution of child subjectivity and the possible repercussions on the teaching profession.
The research based on the qualitative perspective, used the methodological devices of the
educational memory, observations, semi-structured interviews and training course. The
results suggest that these reflections and discussions contribute to the formative practices
in the school space by provoking new postures in the classroom, reconfiguring the
relationship between teaching and learning, thus making it the privileged space for
understanding the educational process through listening and reading of the shared
experiences referenced in the theoretical contribution of Psychoanalysis. Finally, this
approach constitutes a central node of research, since it refers to the inscription and
constitution of the psychic subjec
Alternative substrates and controlled-release fertilizer in the production of yellow passion fruit seedlings
There are many residues that can be used for agriculture, especially as a substrate. However, it is often necessary to fertilize the growing media so that the seedlings can be produced with quality. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of alternative and commercial substrates associated with different controlled-release fertilizer levels in producing yellow passion fruit seedlings. The experiment was conducted at the Embrapa Acre seedling nursery, with 50% luminosity. We used a randomized block experimental design in a 5 x 3 factorial scheme with 15 treatments, 4 replicates, and 10 plants per plot. The treatments consisted of five controlled-release fertilizer levels (0 kg m-3, 3 kg m-3, 6 kg m-3, 9 kg m-3, and 12 kg m-3) combined with lumps of acerola fruits (LAF), Brazil nut peel (BNP), and commercial (CS) substrates. The evaluated variables were seed height, stem diameter, number of leaves, shoot dry mass (SDM), root dry mass (RDM), total dry mass (TDM), and seedling quality index (SQI). Use of the alternative lumps of acerola fruit (LAF) substrate associated with the 10 kg m-³ level of controlled-release fertilizer promoted the best results. BNP has potential for use as a substrate for passion fruit seedlings, however adjustments are necessary to achieve an adequate composition. There are many residues that can be used for agriculture, especially as a substrate. Synthesis and cytotoxicity assessment of citrate-coated calcium and manganese ferrite nanoparticles for magnetic hyperthermia
Calcium-doped manganese ferrite nanoparticles (NPs) are gaining special interest in the biomedical field due to their lower cytotoxicity compared with other ferrites, and the fact that they have improved magnetic properties. Magnetic hyperthermia (MH) is an alternative cancer treatment, in which magnetic nanoparticles promote local heating that can lead to the apoptosis of cancer cells. In this work, manganese/calcium ferrite NPs coated with citrate (CaxMn1−xFe2O4 (x=0, 0.2, 1), were synthesized by the sol-gel method, followed by calcination, and then characterized regarding their crystalline structure (by X-ray diffraction, XRD), size and shape (by Transmission Electron Microscopy, TEM), hydrodynamic size and zeta potential (by Dynamic Light Scattering, DLS), and heating efficiency (measuring the Specific Absorption Rate, SAR, and Intrinsic Loss Power, ILP) under an alternating magnetic field. The obtained NPs showed a particle size within the range of 10 nm to 20 nm (by TEM) with a spherical or cubic shape. Ca0.2Mn0.8Fe2O4 NPs exhibited the highest SAR value of 36.3 W/g at the lowest field frequency tested, and achieved a temperature variation of ~7 °C in 120 s, meaning that these NPs are suitable magnetic hyperthermia agents. In vitro cellular internalization and cytotoxicity experiments, performed using the human cell line HEK 293T, confirmed cytocompatibility over 0–250 µg/mL range and successful internalization after 24 h. Based on these studies, our data suggest that these manganese-calcium ferrite NPs have potential for MH application and further use in in vivo systems. This study was supported by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) under the scope of the strategic funding of CEB (UIDB/04469/2020), CBMA (UIDB/04050/2020) and CF-UM-UP (UIDB/04650/2020) units. Featuring High Impact Polystyrene Composites Strengthened with Green Coconut Fiber Developed for Automotive Industry Application
Studies focused on generating products able to reduce environmental impact have been put in place, and those aiming at finding polymeric composites strengthened with natural fibers stand out among them. A composite was strengthened with coconut fibers in the present study, since the generation of coconut residues has increased in Brazil due to coconut water industrialization.
The aim of the present study is to process a high impact polystyrene (HIPS) composite strengthened with coconut fiber and to verify its possible application in the automotive industry. Strengthened samples were prepared using coconut fibers in the proportions 10, 20 and 30% fiber to develop such HIPS composite. Analyses were performed in order to set the density, Shore A hardness and impact resistance of the processed composites.
It was found that the density and Shore A hardness results in the HIPS did not change due to the addition of coconut fibers. However, it was observed that the impact resistance was reduced because of it. It was noteworthy that the decreased impact resistance did not preclude the use of the HIPS/coconut fiber composite, since it showed that such material can be used in parts free from strong mechanical stress such as those inside the automobiles. The use of coir HIPS also aimed at reducing costs related to the polymer’s consumption and at reusing the waste (coconut husk) from coconut water industries
Experience and Innovation Factory: Adaptation of an Experience Factory Model for a Research and Development Laboratory
This paper aims to present a knowledge management proposal for a software factory organization. A software factory requires a holistic organization, in which many factors must be taken into account, such as: people management and business management. The complexity of the structure leads us to elaborate on an adapted model of Experience Factory to meets the needs of research and development laboratories. The construction of the adapted model used a bibliographical research about Experience Factory models, the characterization of the project, a mapping between the project’s characteristics and the activities of the Experience Factory models. The Experience Factory models attend to the main characteristics identified for the Software Factory Laboratory (SFL): development, capacitation, training, research and innovation. Finally, we tested and analyzed the results on the proposed model on the knowledge generated by the SFL during the software development process
