Motivasi dari Sudut Pandang Teori Hirarki Kebutuhan Maslow, Teori Dua Faktor Herzberg, Teori X Y Mc Gregor, dan Teori Motivasi Prestasi Mc Clelland
Motivasi, kepuasan kerja, dan sistem penghargaan sudah menjadi perhatian banyak penulis, dimana ketiga variabel ini termasuk dalam Teori Organisasi. Berbicara tentang Kepuasan kerja, motivasi dan sistem penghargaan maka, pengaruh yang paling dominan dalam hal ini adalah motivasi dan saling melengkapi dengan dua variabel lainnya. Kajian pustaka klasik dan teori terbaru tentang motivasi menghasilkan empat bidang teori utama: (1) Teori Motivasi Hirarki Kebutuhan Maslow, (2) Teori Motivasi dan Higiene atau Teori Dua faktor Herzberg, (3) Teori X Y Mc Gregor, (4) Teori Motivasi Prestasi McClelland. Maslow menyatakan bahwa orang termotivasi karena kebutuhan yang tidak terpenuhi ber¬dasarkan urutan kadar kepentingannya dari urutan yang paling rendah hingga ke urutan yang lebih tinggi. Herzberg mengatakan bahwa kepuasan dan ketidakpuasan tidak berada pada kontinum yang sama oleh karena itu bukanlah hal yang saling bertentangan. Lebih lanjut dia mengatakan bahwa faktor pemuas bisa menyebabkan kepuasan dan ketidakpuasan, sedangkan pada faktor higiene adakalanya bisa menyebabkan ketidakpuasan dan justru keberadaannya menyebab¬kan kepuasan, yang masing-masing memiliki kekuatannya sendiri. Teori Kebutuhan Prestasi McClelland mendasari Aktualisasi diri Maslow. Teori Y McGregor seirama dengan tingkat motivasi aktualisasi diri McGregor. Hal itu didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa pengarahan diri, pengendalian diri dan kedewasaan mengontrol motivasi. Sistem penghargaan harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan faktor intrinsik jika faktor intrinsik ini dimaksudkan untuk memotivasi pekerja. Memenuhi faktor ekstrinsink merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk memotivasi pekerja, tetapi secara empiris menunjukkan bahwa faktor ekstrinsink ini tidak cukup mampu menjadikan pekerja termotivasi
Gap Analysis and Measurement of Information Technology Readiness for Improvement of Competitive Capabilities to Small and Medium Enterprises in East Java
The growing development of SME sector can be a benchmark for the great potential in improving the economy in East Java. The potential of SMEs will be able to realize a tough and small business, if managed and developed properly. Meanwhile, on the other hand SMEs are also still faced with the problems that lies in the process of administrative and management by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT), thus becoming an obstacle in the development of its business. While at present, for business owners who want to develop their business and able to survive in the competition, one of the efforts that can be done is by utilizing information and communication technology (ICT) as well as having good management capability in managing company’s operational. Therefore, in this study, we conducted a gap analysis and measurement of information technology readiness for SMEs as a way to improve competitive ability. In this research, the method of measuring the level of maturity that we use is BPMM (business process maturity model) and CMMI for SMEs in eastern Java. Based on these measurements, we have also made recommendations for gap improvement in the form of recommendation that can be used by SME owners in improving their organizational skills. It is expected that with the availability of improved forms of organization maturity level can help the competitive ability of existing SMEs in eastern Java in order to continue to grow and it has the ability of continuous improvement.

Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Karakteristik Individu, Lingkungan Kerja terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Kinerja Guru Smk Negeri 1 Tambelangan Sampang
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the influence of transformationalleadership style, individual characteristics, work environment on work motivation and teacherperformance. The study was conducted at State Vocational School Tambelangan 1 , SampangRegency, with 40 teachers as respondents. Data collected with survey methode and questionnaireis as instrument. This research is included in associative research. The data obtained is analyzedusing SPSS. The Effect of Individual Characteristics, Resilient and Work Ability on Intention to Leave and Employee Performance at PT Clariant Adsorbent Indonesia, Gresik
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Individual Characteristics, Resilient and Workability on Intention to Leave and Employee Performance. This study uses quantitative methods. The population is 214 employees of PT Clariant Adsorbent Indonesia, Gresik. Sources of data in this study using primary data obtained directly from employee respondents with google form. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS Version 3 software to validate with Convergent Validity, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Discriminant Validity and perform reliability with Composite Reliability and Cronbach's Alpha. The research method uses an explanatory clause with a sample of 109 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire and analyzed using Smart PLS 3.0 to test the validity and reliability. The results showed that individual characteristics and work ability had a significant positive effect on exit intentions with path coefficients of 0.168 and 0.6979, while resilient had a positive but not significant effect with path coefficients of 0.0023. Individual characteristics and work ability have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance with path coefficients of 0.0092 and 0.0517. Intention to leave and resilient have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with path coefficient numbers 0.6019 and 0.2837. The results of this study can prove that individual characteristics, work ability and intention to leave are factors up and down the performance of employees so that a strategy is needed to improve employee performance in terms of quality, quantity, work duties and responsibilities
Analysis of the Implementation of Standard Operating Procedure, Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and Work Competency Towards Productivity and Employees Performance of Surabaya Merchant Marine Polytechnic
This study aims to analyze how the influence of the Implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and Work Competence on Productivity and Performance of Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya Employees. The population of the object of research amounted to 150 employees and 110 employees took a sample using the calculation of Slovin formula with a statistical error rate of 5%. The scope of this research is focused on discussions relating to the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), work competence, and productivity that affect employee performance. This type of research is quantitative research, which is based on respondents' answers using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Interview and observation techniques as a support method to complete research analysis in measuring variables. The test and analysis process is carried out with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SMARTPLS software. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that the performance of Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya employees is significantly positively influenced by the application of SOPs, work competence, and productivity. Whereas the OCB does not significantly influence the performance of the Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya employees
