DEM simulation of soil-tool interaction under extraterrestrial environmental effects

In contrast to terrestrial environment, the harsh lunar environment conditions include lower gravity acceleration, ultra-high vacuum and high (low) temperature in the daytime (night-time). This paper focuses on the effects of those mentioned features on soil cutting tests, a simplified excavation test, to reduce the risk of lunar excavation missions. Soil behavior and blade performance were analyzed under different environmental conditions. The results show that: (1) the cutting resistance and the energy consumption increase linearly with the gravity. The bending moment has a bigger increasing rate in low gravity fields due to a decreasing moment arm; (2) the cutting resistance, energy consumption and bending moment increase significantly because of the raised soil strength on the lunar environment, especially in low gravity fields. Under the lunar environment, the proportions of cutting resistance, bending moment and energy consumption due to the effect of the van der Waals forces are significant. Thus, they should be taken into consideration when planning excavations on the Moon. Therefore, considering that the maximum frictional force between the excavator and the lunar surface is proportional to the gravity acceleration, the same excavator that works efficiently on the Earth may not be able to work properly on the Moon.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

En la actualidad, los avances en la ciencia de la esteganografía lingüística en español abren nuevas líneas de investigación en su aplicación a la protección / privacidad de las comunicaciones digitales y en el marcado de textos. El presente artículo profundiza en el interés del uso de la reordenación de complementos del verbo en textos existentes en lengua española con utilidad en esteganografía lingüística y en el marcado digital de textos (marca de agua). Factores de riesgo asociados a puntaje apgar bajo al nacer en neonatos del hospital Belén de Trujillo periodo Enero 2009 - Diciembre 2013

Determinar los factores de riesgo asociados a puntaje Apgar bajo al nacer en el Hospital Belén de Trujillo. Material y Métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio de tipo, analítico, observacional, retrospectivo, de casos y controles. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por 84neonatos según criterios de inclusión y exclusión establecidos, distribuidos en dos grupos: con y sinpuntaje Apgar bajo al nacer. Resultados: El análisis estadístico sobre las variables en estudio como factores de riesgo fueron: prematuridad(OR: 4.26; p<0.01), bajo peso al nacer (OR: 3.41; p<0.05) preeclampsia (OR: 4; p<0.05), expulsivo prolongado(OR: 2.96; p<0.01), liquido amniótico meconial (OR: 4.06; p<0.05), cesarea (OR: 3.52; p<0.01). Conclusiones:La prematuridad, el bajo peso al nacer, la preeclampsia, el expulsivo prolongado, el liquido amniótico meconial y la cesárea son factores de riesgo asociados a puntaje Apgar bajo al nacer.Determine the risk factors asociated to low apgar puntuation in newborns of Trujillo Belen Hospital. Methods: Was conduced an analitic, observational, retrospective, case-control investigation. The study population was conformed for 84newborns accord inclusion and exclusion criteria distributed into 2 groups: with and withoutlow apgar puntuation. Some Remarks on Daily Life as a Concept, Context, and Content for New Quality Standard in Architectural Design and Urbanism

[EN] In this article, we point out the need to base the process of designing buildings and architectural and urban spaces on criteria that take into account the gender perspective. As a conceptual framework for developing such standards serves the methodology proposed by Bernard Tschumi,1 referring to ¿theory¿ as a ¿practice¿ and the concept of care and corresponding values derived from feminist ethics of care. In his text ¿Event-Cities 3¿ (Tschumi, 2005), Tschumi claims that ¿theory is a practice of concepts.¿ In the present text, this is particularly understood as a need and way to redefine/re-construct the content of the design theory, especially the concept of space, based on real practice and everyday life. The authors argue that ¿practice with concepts,¿ when including daily life notions, could help redefine quality standards in architectural design and realise spaces more inclusive and just. As a case studies authors review a selection of projects that the authors have developed from 1998 to 2020. Incidencia del Laboratorio de Ciencias Naturales en los estudiantes de URACCAN

Currently, the work of the Natural Science Laboratories is discussed and it is difficult to understand what their contributions are, since their work depends on various factors. The work of these at URACCAN Nueva Guinea campus is no stranger to such a statement. With this research, the incidence of these spaces in the student formation and, therefore, the achievement of the university's mission is visualized. The research was from a perspective of mixed, predominantly quantitative, descriptive approach with a population of 268 students and 16 teachers of 6 careers. The sample for students was 71, calculated with the STATTM. In the case of teachers, a 100% sampling (census) was carried out. The student population was stratified by careers and gender. The survey, interview and documentary review were used. The relevance, quality, impact and sustainability of the practices of the Natural Sciences Laboratory were defined as outsized variables. There was a significant incidence of the Natural Sciences Laboratory in the student's educational process and contributions to teaching, with a general average of 82%, highlighting the link between theory and practice, the usefulness of acquired knowledge for academic and professional performance to strengthen their ability to analyze, develop skills and abilities, among others. They were able to identify the potential of the laboratory and some limitations that are part of the reality of this. The training processes and activities developed in the laboratory have contributed effectively, efficiently and with quality, favoring learning and contributing to the strengthening of teaching capacities. Despite this, the readjustment and expansion of spaces and provision of resources (equipment, materials and reagents) is recommended.Actualmente se discute el quehacer de los Laboratorios de Ciencias Naturales y es difícil entender cuáles son sus aportes, pues su labor depende de diversos factores. El trabajo de estos en el recinto URACCAN Nueva Guinea no es ajeno a tal afirmación. Con esta investigación se visualiza la incidencia de dichos espacios en la formación del estudiantado y por ende el logro de la misión de la universidad. La investigación fue desde una perspectiva de enfoque mixto, predominantemente cuantitativo, de tipo descriptiva con una población de 268 estudiantes y 16 docentes de 6 carreras. La muestra para estudiantes fue de 71, calculada con el STATTM. En el caso de los docentes se realizó un muestreo al 100% (censo). La población de estudiantes se estratificó por carreras y por género. Se utilizaron la encuesta, entrevista y revisión documental. Se definieron como grandes variables la pertinencia, calidad, impacto y sostenibilidad de las prácticas del Laboratorio de Ciencias Naturales. Se constató incidencia significativa del Laboratorio de Ciencias Naturales en el proceso educativo del estudiantado y aportes a la docencia, con un promedio general de 82 %, resaltando la vinculación de la teoría con la práctica, la utilidad de los conocimientos adquiridos para el desempeño académico y profesional para fortalecer su capacidad de análisis, desarrollar habilidades y destrezas, entre otras. Se lograron identificar las potencialidades del laboratorio y algunas limitantes que son parte de la realidad de este. Los procesos y actividades de formación desarrolladas en el laboratorio han aportado de manera efectiva, eficiente y con calidad, favoreciendo el aprendizaje y contribuyendo al fortalecimiento de las capacidades docentes. Pese a ello, se recomienda la readecuación y ampliación de espacios y dotación de recursos (equipos, materiales y reactivos). &nbsp

“Los libros electrónicos de compras, ventas y su incidencia en la conciencia tributaria en el mercado de productores de Santa Anita, año 2016”

La investigación analizó los modernos cambios informáticos que SUNAT fue incorporando y perfeccionando al sistema de libros electrónicos, como parte de su gestión de ente recaudador y como herramienta de cumplimiento fiscal. Los libros electrónicos han sido dados para combatir el incumplimiento tributario y en el proceso la conciencia tributaria del contribuyente se ve afectada, tema que se profundizó en esta investigación, considerando al ser humano un eje importante en la sociedad y la relación estrecha entre el contribuyente y el Estado. Fue necesario conocer el comportamiento del contribuyente, el rol del Contador Público y su relación con el contribuyente, ver como impactó el uso del llevado del sistema de los libros electrónicos de Compras y Ventas, cómo la masificación voluntaria y/u obligatoria del empleo del sistema de libros electrónicos, sea PORTAL o PLE, permitió mejorar la recaudación. La investigación analizó la conciencia tributaria pro fisco y pro contribuyente. También se revisó las medidas de incentivos dada por SUNAT para promover el uso de libros electrónicos, herramienta vital para acercarse al contribuyente y ganar eficiencia en la fiscalización. Para ello se desarrolló la investigación a través de ocho capítulos, encontrando que mi hipótesis incidió en los resultados como se detalla más adelante.Tesi
