La Historia de un Sentimiento: Un corto documental sobre el Levante UD

Curs acadèmic: 2014-2015La aparición del fútbol se remonta varios siglos atrás, durante la Edad Media, pero no es hasta el siglo XIX cuando se consolida como deporte gracias a la formación de la Asociación Internacional de Fútbol y más tarde con la fundación de la FIFA (1904). La FIFA concentra a un gran número de ligas profesionales de los diferentes países del mundo, entre las que se encuentra la española. La liga profesional de fútbol española es conocida en todo el mundo como una de las mejores que existen. Esta liga, conocida también como la liga BBVA, ha sido considerada por la Federación Internacional de Historia y Estadística del Fútbol (IFFHS), como la mejor del mundo por delante de la italiana y la inglesa en cinco ocasiones. El fútbol es considerado el deporte rey a nivel mundial y mueve tanto dinero como personas allá por donde va. Con el paso del tiempo la gente se ha ido involucrando tanto en su equipo predilecto, que ha llegado a convertirse en una parte importante en sus vidas. Los aficionados del fútbol viven este deporte hasta el punto de sentirse parte de él y de vivirlo como una segunda familia. En el fútbol, los aficionados son un pilar fundamental para los equipos y muchos de ellos los hacen partícipes en todos aquellos ámbitos que se les permite ya que saben que son esenciales para este deporte y, son ellos, los que les dan ese apoyo cuando más lo necesitan. En el caso del Levante UD, encontramos el ejemplo de un equipo humilde con más de cien años de historia que ha sabido superar adversidades y superarse a sí mismo manteniendo a su lado, siempre, a su afición. El Levante UD hace partícipe a su afición en todos los ámbitos de la institución, tanto deportivos como en los aspectos internos del club, ya que siempre hacen un llamamiento para que los seguidores les acompañen en sus encuentros además de que la afición forma gran parte de los socios de éste.The football emergence goes back to several centuries ago, during the Middle Ages, but it isn’t until the XIX century when football consolidated as a sport, thanks to the formation of the International Association of Football and later with the founding of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in 1904. The FIFA gather a big number of professional leagues of different countries, between which is the spanish league. The profesional Spanish football league is known as one of the best leagues, all over the world. This league, which is also known as BBVA league, has been considered by The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), as the best of the world, ahead of Italian and English leagues, in five occasions. Football is worldwide considered the sports of kings and drives a large amount of money and lots of people where it is. As time goes by, people has been a part of their favourite team, so it has become an important part of their life. This football fans live this sport until the point of being a part of it and to live it like a second family. In football, fans are the essential base of the teams and lots of this teams make them participant in all of those scopes which are allowed to, because they know that fans are essential for this sport and they are who support them when they need it more. In Levante UD, we find an example of a humble team with more than a hundred years of history which has known how to overtake adversities and to selfovertake, keeping their fans always next to them. Levante UD makes its fans participant in every scope of the institution, both sportive and in the internal aspects of the club, because they are always calling for fans to go with them in their matches and because a big part of this fans are parners

Influence of Gamma Irradiation on Seedless Citrus Production: Pollen Germination and Fruit Quality

Seedlessness is a desirable characteristic in citrus fruits sold for fresh consumption. Gamma irradiation is widely used to obtain seedless citrus fruits. Here, different clones of the self-incompatible parthenocarpic ‘Moncada’ mandarin, obtained by gamma irradiation, were studied to assess seedlessness, pollen germination, fruit characteristics and qua- lity attributes. Findings indicate that irradiation altered aspects other than seedlessness, such as pollen germination, and some of the clones presented different weight, size, acidity and maturity index. Fruit quality and nutritional bio- components were affected differently; some clones presented no changes compared to the control ‘Moncada’ man-darin, while other clones showed significant differences. In general, all clones examined presented low seed numbers and re- duced pollen viability. Some of these clones, which ripen late in the season and whose fruit quality is maintained or improved, are in the process of registration

Procedimiento para modular las propiedades eléctricas de óxidos con estructura tipo perovskita derivados del niobato de sodio mediante la creación de vacantes catiónicas. La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para modificar controladamente las propiedades eléctricas del óxido NaNbO3 mediante la creación de vacantes catiónicas en la subred A de la estructura tipo perovskita. La introducción progresiva de vacantes en la subred A al dopar con un ión alcalinotérreo como por ejemplo Sr2+ o con un ión de tierra rara como por ejemplo La3+ permite la estabilización de un material ferroeléctrico, y el cambio continuo de comportamiento ferroeléctrico a ferroeléctrico-relaxor característico de las disoluciones sólidas tipo perovskita sin plomo. Comparative Study of Bioactive Components and Quality from Juices of Different Mandarins: Discriminant Multivariate Analysis of Their Primary and Secondary Metabolites

A comparative study of the primary and secondary metabolites of the juice of several mandarin cultivars with different pollination, seed production and parthenocarpic abilities was carried out, and the antioxidant capacity of the hydrophilic fraction was measured. Correlation by a Principal Component Analysis and a Cluster Analysis was used. By a multivariate analysis, the 15 citrus cultivars were clustered into four groups consistently with citrus types. The presented data are an important factor for choosing varieties with high potential as a nutraceutical source. These aspects are necessary as consumers demand prevention of health problems through nutrition and certain fruit quality traits, including fruit size, internal quality, good rind color and easy peeling

Electron microscopy for inorganic-type drug delivery nanocarriers for antitumoral applications: What is possible to see?

The use of nanoparticles able to transport drugs, in a selective and controlable manner, directly to diseased tissues and cells have improved the therapeutic arsenal for addressing unmet clinical situations. In the recent years, a vast number of nanocarriers with inorganic, organic, hybrid and even biological nature have been developed, expecially for their application in oncology fied. The exponential growing in the nanomedicine field would not have been possible without the also rapid expansion of electron microscopy techniques, which allow a more precise observation of nanometric objects. The use of these techniques provides a better understanding of the key parameters which rule their synthesis and behavior. In this review, the recent advances performed in the application of inorganic nanoparticles for clinical uses and the role which has played electron microscopy will be presented
