Mites of the genus Anomaloppia Subías (Acari: Oppiidae) from Alborz province, northern Iran, with one new species and a key to the known species

In the course of a faunistic survey on oribatidmites in Alborz province, northern Iran, four species belonging to the genus Anomaloppia were collected: A. iranica, A. mazandaranica, A. differens and a hitherto unknown species which is named as A. alborzi sp. n. The new species is characterized by the rostral setae which are situated close to each other and by long sensilli, with a fusiform head and four long barbs and by smooth notogastral setae. Anomaloppia differens is recorded for the first time from Iran and a supplementary description is provided for this species on the basis of Iranian materials. Effect of 8 weeks of selected aquatic aerobic training on cystatine C and some other cardiac risk factors in menopause women: a randomized clicical trial

زمینه و هدف: بیماری های قلبی عروقی عامل حدود 50 مرگ و میر زنان بعد از یائسگی هستند. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تاثیر 8 هفته ورزش هوازی پیشرونده در آب بر سیستاتین C و برخی دیگر از عوامل خطرزای قلبی عروقی شامل تری گلیسیرید، کلسترول و لیپوپروتئین ها (LDL و HDL) در زنان یائسه طراحی و اجرا شده است. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه کارآزمایی بالینی، آزمودنی های تحقیق 30 نفر زن یائسه بودند که به طور داوطلبانه در تحقیق شرکت کردند و به شیوه تصادفی در دو گروه 15 نفری شاهد و مورد تقسیم شدند. دو گروه از نظر سن و شاخص توده بدنی همسان بودند. متغیرهای مورد مطالعه قبل و بعد از جلسات تمرین ورزشی اندازه گیری شدند. برنامه تمرینی در گروه مورد شامل تمرین هوازی در آب به مدت 8 هفته، هر هفته 3 جلسه با شدت 50 تا 70 حداکثر ضربان قلب بود. گروه شاهد در مدت تحقیق در هیچ برنامه منظم ورزشی شرکت نکردند. تجزیه و تحلیل یافته ها با استفاده از روش آماری تحلیل کوواریانس در نرم افزار SPSS انجام شد. یافته ها: نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که میزان سیستاتین C، کلسترول و LDL در پس آزمون نسبت به پیش آزمون در گروه مورد کاهش و HDL افزایش معنی داری یافته است (05/0P). تنها تری گلیسیرید در گروه مورد و در مقایسه با گروه شاهد کاهش معنی داری نشان داده است (05/0

The spider genus Pterotricha in Iran, with the description of a new genus (Araneae, Gnaphosidae)

The spider genus Pterotricha Kulczyński, 1903 (Gnaphosidae) is surveyed in Iran. To date, three species of this genus were known in the country: P. loeffleri (Roewer, 1955), P. lentiginosa (C. L. Koch, 1837) and P. pseudoparasyriaca Nuruyeva & Huseynov, 2016. Here two new species are described, P. kovblyuki Zamani & Marusik, sp. n. (♂, western Iran) and P. montana Zamani & Marusik, sp. n. (♀, central and southwestern Iran), and P. cf. dalmasi Fage, 1929 (from Algeria to Jordan) is reported in Iran for the first time. Pterotricha tikaderi Gajbe, 1983 syn. n. (India) and P. loeffleri (Roewer, 1955), syn. n. are synonymized with P. strandi Spassky, 1936 (hitherto known from Turkmenistan only). The record of P. lentiginosa from Iran is apparently based on misidentification. A distribution map of the genus in Iran with new provincial records is provided.
