Background: The aim of this study is to evalute special training exercise on the FGF21 and FGFR-1 among coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG) patients. Materials and Methods: The study method was semi-experimental and the statistical population was patients who had heart disease, after coronary artery bypass surgery. Results: The study results showed 8 weeks of special exercises among the experimental group had a significant increase in the expression levels of FGF21 and FGFR1 among CABG patients, compared to the control group. Physical activity may increase FGF21 levels, which is an important factor in oxidative stress and inflammation. Conclusion: The study results showed 8 weeks of special exercises among the experimental group had a significant increase in the expression levels of FGF21 and FGFR1 among CABG patients, compared to the control group. Physical activity may increase FGF21 levels, which is an important factor in oxidative stress and inflammation. &nbsp

Architecture and clothing is one of the most notable categories of each area's culture. Clothing of Baluchistan area, with regard to its specific features, has great values and potentials including; decorations and designs of needlework used in Baluch women's dress indicating specific art and delicacy that has been emerged by female artists. Artists who are mostly illiterate and have not studied geometry but have created noble geometric designs with unique delicacy. Baluchistan architecture also has potential and features that are sometimes inspired by clothing. This research aimed at analysis of design of needle-works and its impact on building's façade in Zahedan and the inspiration of architecture from design of needle works with regard to the cultural feature in this area. Baluch Needle work as one of hobby skills among people of this area has a particular position and notable history in this area. Designs of this civil art are not only seen on people clothing in this area but also are observed in buildings facades. As clothing, besides adding beauty to people, it protects and covers them. Architecture, also, besides adding beauty to environment around it, protects it and holds it as clothing. Thus, we can consider cloth as human's secondary clothing or clothing as primary architecture. Apart from these, clothing of each nation is one of the cultural aspects of that nation, as architecture is considered as one of the cultural aspects of that nation. It means that we can study Baluch women's needle work from two artistic and architectural aspects. This research aimed at describing the Iranian artistic and architectural decorative achievements and case study of Baluch art and architecture. The research results showed that the unity and reoccurrence of homogeneous designs is oriented towards their unique perception of clothing and building. This research, with regard to its results, is an applied research and its methods are based on field and library study. This research intends to examine the impact of Baluch needle works designs in architecture of Zahedan city through field and library study methods

Environmental dose rate assessment of ITER using the Monte Carlo method

Exposure to radiation is one of the main sources of risk to staff employed in reactor facilities. The staff of a tokamak is exposed to a wide range of neutrons and photons around the tokamak hall. The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) is a nuclear fusion engineering project and the most advanced experimental tokamak in the world. From the radiobiological point of view, ITER dose rates assessment is particularly important. The aim of this study is the assessment of the amount of radiation in ITER during its normal operation in a radial direction from the plasma chamber to the tokamak hall. To achieve this goal, the ITER system and its components were simulated by the Monte Carlo method using the MCNPX 2.6.0 code. Furthermore, the equivalent dose rates of some radiosensitive organs of the human body were calculated by using the medical internal radiation dose phantom. Our study is based on the deuterium-tritium plasma burning by 14.1 MeV neutron production and also photon radiation due to neutron activation. As our results show, the total equivalent dose rate on the outside of the bioshield wall of the tokamak hall is about 1 mSv per year, which is less than the annual occupational dose rate limit during the normal operation of ITER. Also, equivalent dose rates of radiosensitive organs have shown that the maximum dose rate belongs to the kidney. The data may help calculate how long the staff can stay in such an environment, before the equivalent dose rates reach the whole-body dose limits

Given the high perishability of strawberry fruit, the edible coating will maintain its postharvest quality. Edible coatings have gained considerable attention due to their ability to extend fruits shelf life. Therefore, in this study two edible coatings were prepared using 0.5 and 1.0% (w/v) of Persian gum and 0.2 and 0.5% (w/v) of wild sage to maintain the shelf-life quality of \u27Camarosa\u27 strawberry fruit during 9 days of storage at 20 °C. It was found that fruit firmness, titrable acidity (TA), total anthocyanin, total carotenoid, protein, vitamin C and total antioxidant activity showed a decreasing trend during 9 days of shelf life, while weight loss, total soluble solids (TSS), TSS/TA, total phenolic content, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), pectin methylesterase (PME) and polygalacturonase activity (PG) activity significantly increased. Fruits coated with Persian and wild sage gums had higher firmness, TA, total anthocyanin, total carotenoid, protein, vitamin C, total phenolic content, total antioxidant activity, SOD and CAT activity along with lower weight loss and PME and PG activity. The results suggested that Persian and wild sage gums especially at 1.0 and 0.5% (respectively) could be successfully employed to maintaining \u27Camarosa\u27 strawberry quality up to 9 days of shelf life

BACKGROUND: There is a lack of data in our society on the outcomes, complications, and prognostic factors in patients with coronary artery disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). We evaluated the success rate, early and late outcomes, and prognostic factors in a referral university center in Isfahan, IRAN. METHODS: This prospective cohort study was conducted in Chamran University Hospital in Isfahan (IRAN) from March 2010 to February 2011. Patients consequently were included if they have the indication for emergent or elective PCI. Outcomes included procedural success, complications, and major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) during hospitalization and 6 months follow-up. RESULTS: A total of 282 patients (74.1% females) with mean age of 57.0±3.2 years were studied. Most of the patients (89.7%) underwent elective PCI. Angiographic and procedure success rates were 95.7% and 94.6%, respectively. In-hospital MACE included two cases of death (0.7%) and one MI (0.3%); 2/29 (6.9%) of the emergent PCI and 1/253 (0.4%) of the elective PCI cases. MACE during follow-up included three cases of death (1.0%) and two MI (0.7%); 2/252 (0.8%) of the elective PCI and 1/28 (3.5%) of the emergent PCI cases. The overall MACE was calculated as 8 cases (2.8%) which included 5/29 (17.2%) of the emergent and 3/253 (1.1%) of the elective cases; P < 0.001. In multivariate analysis, none of the factors including gender, age, emergency of the procedure, lesion type, number of stenotic vessels, or stent type were associated with total MACE (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: PCI is performed with an acceptable success rate in our center in Isfahan and mortality and complications are within the range reported by other highly specialized centers in IRAN. Further studies with larger sample size are needed to find predictive factors. Keywords: Percutaneous coronary intervention, Myocardial infarction, Acute coronary syndrome, Reperfusion therapy, Outcome, Mortality.</p
