Designing preference functions for de Bruijn sequences with forbidden words

A preference function provides a method to build periodic sequences by specifying a set of rules that determine which symbols are to be attempted before others, when the sequence is constructed one symbol at a time. The well-known prefer-one, prefer-opposite, and prefer-same binary de Bruijn sequences are all constructed using appropriate preference functions. In this article we provide some fairly general results that give conditions for a pair of an initial word and a preference function on a q-ary alphabet to produce sequences that include every pattern of given size n≥ 1 –except possibly some specified set of patterns. We provide several old and new constructions that showcase the flexibility of the results. Specifically, we give a construction for square-free and general separative de Bruijn sequences. The existence of these sequences was established more than a decade ago but nonconstructively. An important special case of these separative sequences produces universal cycles for permutations. We also build a preference function for binary de Bruijn sequences of patterns with a maximum density of ones. As for full de Bruijn sequences, the main result helps furnish a recursive construction from arbitrary cyclic permutations of q symbols. Implementasi Program Beasiswa Pendidikan Berkualitas Dan Gratis (Perintis) Bagi Mahasiswa di Kabupaten Lamongan Tahun (2022-2023)

The aim of this research is to achieve successful implementation of the quality and free scholarship program (PERINTIS) for students in Lamongan Regency who are less prosperous and high achieving students organized by the Regent of Lamongan through the Lamongan Regency Education Office.  The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, namely by describing and analyzing research results. So it can be accounted for and easily understood.  This research uses data sources from scientific journals, literature books, official websites. This research also uses data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The informant selection technique uses purposive sampling and the data sources used are primary data and secondary data.  The research results show that the implementation of the PERINTIS scholarship program can be said to be in accordance with the criteria of Edward III's theory, namely, communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. So the results obtained were that the implementation of the PERINTIS scholarship program carried out by the Lamongan Regency Education Office was quite effective. The implementation of this program is beneficial for the community and organizations and the quality and free scholarship program (PERINTIS) will be carried out on an ongoing basis. There are several obstacles in implementing the PERINTIS scholarship program, including selection time constraints in determining whether recipients of the PERINTIS scholarship program are eligible or not, as well as limited numbers and time for the survey team

JEDNODIMENZIONALNA ANALIZA SEIZMIČKIH VRIJEDNOSTI NA SMJESTIŠTU NEKOMERCIJALNOGA NUKLEARNOG REAKTORA, SERPONG, INDONEZIJA

One dimensional seismic response analysis on the ground surface of the Non-Commercial Power Reactor (RDNK) site based on the mean uniform hazard spectrum (UHS) and disaggregation analysis has been conducted. The study’s objective was to perform an analysis on site-specific response spectra on the ground surface based on existing mean UHS and disaggregation data of the site that correspond to a 1,000 and 10,000 year return period of earthquakes in compliance with the national nuclear regulatory body requirements of Indonesia. Detailed site characterization was defined based on secondary data of a geotechnical drill-hole, seismic cross-hole, downhole data, and microtremor array data. The dynamic site characteristic analysis was presented along with strong motion selection and processing using two types of strong motion datasets. An investigation of strong motion selection, spectral matching, and scaling has been presented as an essential step in ground motion processing. One-dimensional equivalent linear analysis simulation was performed by computing the processed ground motions. A seismic design spectrum and ground surface response spectra from the two datasets of strong motion, both corresponding to a 10,000 and 1,000 year return period, are presented at the end of this study. This study has shown that in order to establish the appropriate seismic response design spectrum, site-specific data and seismic hazard analysis must be immensely considered.Jednodimenzionalna seizmička analiza na tlu u okolici nekomercijalnoga nuklearnog reaktora temeljena je na izučavanju srednjih, uniformnih spektara rizika te analizi dezagregacije tla. Analiza je načinjena na smjestištu koje je određeno svojim posebnim seizmičkim spektrom. Spomenute varijable izučavane su s obzirom na povratno razdoblje potresa od 1000 i 10 000 godina te su uspoređene s nacionalnim zakonodavstvom o sigurnosti nuklearnih postrojenja u Indoneziji. Analizirano područje detaljno je opisano iz sekundarnih podataka koji su obuhvatili geotehničke i sezimičke bušotinske podatke te mjerenja mikropotresa. Dinamička svojstva smjestišta predstavljena su usporedno s podatcima iz dvaju skupova mjerenja snažnih gibanja. Njihovo izučavanje spektralnom analizom te odabirom mjerenja opisano je kao temeljni korak u izučavanju gibanja tla. Jednodimenzionalna analiza načinjena je računalnom obradbom. Prikazani su seizmički i površinski spektri, za oba skupa podataka i oba povratna razdoblja. "The basolateral amygdala (BLA) significantly influences both the sleep-wake cycle and various memory functions, highlighting its intricate role in governing sleep regulation. The basolateral amygdala plays a crucial role in regulating the timing and coordination of the sleep-wake cycle through its involvement in circadian processes. Although many studies have not distinguished functional roles of the BLA, this study suggests that modulating the expression of the Period1(Per1) gene in the BLA has a role in regulation of the sleep-wake cycle."--Introduction

Engaging Gen Z through Personalized Social Media Content: The Mediating Role of Perceived Relevance on Platform Engagement

The raising usage of social media lead to an increase in the importance of platform engagement by Gen Z through personalized content provided by these platforms. However, the aim of this study is to understand the role of both personalization and interactivity in supporting the experience of Gen Z through investigating the mediating role of perceived relevance on platform engagement. This study utilized a sample of 412 from Gen Z to explore the proposed hypotheses. The data was collected using a survey containing 17 items to measure the proposed constructs and the collected data analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings revealed that all the proposed hypotheses are supported. Specififically, the study found that content personalization and content interactivity lead to support the perception of relevance. Moreover, the findings also revealed that perception of relevance could be enhance the platform engagement through their mediating role in the relationship between content personalization and platform engagement, and between content interactivity and platform engagement. Such findings contribute to implementing content strategies by marketers to support the engagement of Gen Z in social media

Strategi Pemasaran di Ladang Anggrek Saraswanti Grup Kecamatan Pungging Kabupaten Mojokerto

The purpose of this observation is to find out the marketing strategy at the Saraswanti Group Orchid Farm, Pungging District, Mojokerto by using the 7P marketing mix, then find out the obstacles in marketing orchid flowers and find out the promotional mix used at the Saraswanti Group Orchid Farm. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The informants in this study included 1 person as the main source and 2 people as supporters. The results of this research show the Marketing Strategy used in marketing orchid flowers at the Saraswanti Group Orchid Farm (1) Through the Orchid Gallery (2) Online on social media Tik-tok, Facebook, Instagram, WA (3) The nearest flower shop in Mojokerto, Surabaya and Sidoarjo. Obstacles in marketing and producing orchids at the Saraswanti Group Orchid Farm are tight price competition and the long cultivation time for orchids, which takes 2 years. The promotion mix used at the Saraswanti Group Orchid Farm includes 5 main aspects, namely (1) Using advertising properly, distributing brochures and social media (2) Sales promotions providing special discounts for large buyers (3) Publicity by participating in events in cities and exhibitions (4) Selling charms through the orchid gallery (5) Direct marketing through the Orchid Farm website. PENGARUH BRAND AWARENESS, KUALITAS PRODUK, DAN WORD OF MOUTH (WOM) TERHADAP MINAT BELI SKIN CARE LOKAL DI SOCIOLLA STORE SURABAYA

This study will examine the effect of Brand Awareness, Product Quality, and Word of Mouth (Wom) on Purchase Interest. The sampling technique in this study uses a simple random sampling technique because the sampling from population members is carried out randomly without regard to the existing strata in the population. The Technical data analysis used is the multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The data quality test used is a test of validity and reliability. The results of this study indicate that based on the F test, it is known that Fhitung > Ftable (11.450 > 2.72) and the value of Sig < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), which means at a significant level of 5%, Brand Awareness (X1) variable, Quality Product (X2), and Word of Mouth (WOM) (X3) simultaneously have a significant effect on the variable of Purchase Interest (Y) of local Skincare at Sociolla Store Surabaya.Keywords: Brand Awareness; product quality; and Purchas

"Pseudosarcoma" in a pregnant woman

BACKGROUND: Intravascular fasciitis (IVF) is a rare benign condition characterised by reactive myofibroblastic proliferation arising from the superficial or deep fascia and involving arteries and/or veins. It is a distinct variant of the more common condition of nodular fasciitis, which possesses similar clinical and histological features to IVF, but lacks vascular invasion. A thorough review of the literature revealed 26 reported cases of IVF. CASE PRESENTATION: We report a case of IVF in a 16-week pregnant lady affecting the hypothenar eminence of the hand associated with the ulnar artery. CONCLUSION: The characteristic involvement of muscular arteries and veins by reactive myofibroblastic proliferation in IVF suggests a malignant component and often leads to an inappropriate diagnosis for this benign condition. We propose that hormone-related changes associated with pregnancy may play an important role in the aetiopathogenesis of this myofibroblastic lesion
