    The Bis(ferrocenyl)phosphenium Ion Revisited

The bis(ferrocenyl)phosphenium ion, [Fc2P]+, reported by Cowley et al. (J. Am. Chem. Soc. 1981, 103, 714–715), was the only claimed donor‐free divalent phosphenium ion. Our examination of the molecular and electronic structure reveals that [Fc2P]+ possesses significant intramolecular Fe⋅⋅⋅P contacts, which are predominantly electrostatic and moderate the Lewis acidity. Nonetheless, [Fc2P]+ undergoes complex formation with the Lewis bases PPh3 and IPr to give the donor–acceptor complexes [Fc2P(PPh3)]+ and [Fc2P(IPr)]+ (IPr=1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazole‐2‐ylidene)

AbstractThe manufacture of clothing using real body measurements is based on user's new profile, on their own desire for individualization through purchased garments but also on the results of the anthropometric surveys which have shown great variability in morphological types, especially for women.Research conducted by the authors focused on the application of 3D virtual try-on in pattern alterations for “women trousers”. To achieve the objectives of the work, bodies with atypical characteristics were selected from the database resulting from 3D scanning of the Romanian women population. In the study, it was found that many women have different sizes for the two hip contours (left-right), differences being in the range 1.5 to 4.5cm.Based on these considerations a method of completion of the patterns for trousers has been developed and applied, by 3D simulation of the body-garment.This paper brings contributions to clothing design technology by 3D virtual try-on, taking into account the body shape of the users

Creating a hyperpolarised pseudo singlet state through polarisation transfer from parahydrogen under SABRE

The creation of magnetic states that have long lifetimes has been the subject of intense investigation, in part because of their potential to survive the time taken to travel from the point of injection in a patient to the point where a clinically diagnostic MRI trace is collected. We show here that it is possible to harness the Signal Amplification By Reversible Exchange (SABRE) process to create such states in a hyperpolarised form that improves their detectability in seconds without the need for any chemical change by reference to the model substrate 2-aminothiazole. We achieve this by transferring Zeeman derived polarisation that is 1500 times larger than that normally available at 400 MHz with greater than 90 % efficiency into the new state, which in this case has a 27 second lifetime

Medical clinic “Galaxia”, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, Al VIII-lea Congres Naţional de Ortopedie și Traumatologie cu participare internaţională 12-14 octombrie 2016Objectives: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is defined as a portion of the plasma fraction of autologous blood having a platelet concentration above baseline PRP also has been referred to as platelet-enriched plasma, platelet-rich concentrate, autologous platelet gel, and platelet releasate. PRP serves as a growth factor agonist and has both mitogenic and chemotactic properties. It contains a high level of platelets and a full complement of clotting and growth factors. Analyze of methods use PRPtherapy in different osteo-articular diseases and artroscopical surgery, benefits comparative with surgery without PRPtherapy, benefits PRP-therapy in postsurgical rehabilitation. Methods: The study includes analysis of cases of non-surgical and arthroscopic treatment of patients with traumatic injuries and degenerative medial femoral condyle chondropathy associated with grade 2-3 treatment that followed in 2013-2015. Clinical evaluation was performed by visual- verbal scale (VAS) in all patients, analysis of five significant factors for patients: pain, mobility, functional disability, return to work loaves disease, satisfaction followed effective treatment. Cartography was the best MRI investigation, which has proven effective for stimulating regenerative chondral. Results: the result was significantly better in patients with chondropathy that followed PRP therapy, clinical improvement is much taller than improving ascertained by MRI. The greatest differences in satisfaction or certificate received treatment and return to usual activities. For patients with synovitis brief duration of postsurgical patients that followed PRP postsurgery therapy was 3 times smaller. Conclusions: 1. The use of PRP therapy in patients with medial femoral condyle chondropathy gr.2-3 in postsurgical rehabilitation 2 times shortened recovery period. 2. The number of people who returned to work or professional sports was 35% higher in the group that followed PRP therapy 3. High efficiency PRP therapy allows to recommend the conduct regular medical rehabilitation in this patient group

Achieving High Levels of NMR-Hyperpolarization in Aqueous Media With Minimal Catalyst Contamination via SABRE

Signal amplification by reversible exchange (SABRE) is shown to allow access to strongly enhanced 1H NMR signals in a range of substrates in aqueous media. In order to achieve this outcome phase-transfer-catalysis is exploited which leads to less than less than 1.5 x 10-6 mol dm-3 of the iridium catalyst in the aqueous phase. These observations reflect a compelling route to produce a saline based hyperpolarized bolus in just a few seconds for subsequent in vivo MRI monitoring. The new process has been called CAtalyst Separated Hyperpolarization via Signal Amplification By Reversible Exchange or CASH-SABRE. We illustrate this method for the substrates pyrazine, 5-methylpyrimidine, 4,6-d2-methyl nicotinate, 4,6-d2-nicotinamide and pyridazine achieving 1H signals gains of approximately 790-, 340-, 3000-, 260- and 380-fold per proton at 9.4 T at the time point where phase separation is complete

Crop fertilization has beneficial effects on the productivity of sorghum crops although the species does not have high demands on it. This is explained by the fact that the root system of sorghum is well developed and manages to extract nutrients from the soil. Previous experiments show that mineral fertilizers contribute to the production increase with 40%. Under A.R.D.S. Secuieni pedoclimatic conditions, for a five years period (2013 – 2017) the influence of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers on the soil production and quality was studied, and the conclusion was that sorghum reacts well to the fertilization with these fertilizers. Significant production increases have been achieved in the variants fertilized with doses starting from 80 kg a.s./ha of nitrogen and phosphorus, and the maximum level was recorded in the variant fertilized with 120 kg a.s./ha of nitrogen and phosphorus. Of the five years of experimentation, the most favorable for sorghum crop was 2013, a year characterized as very warm. This year's average production was high and reached 7397 kg/ha. In each of the five years of experimentation, the maximum yield was achieved in the variants fertilized with 120 kg/ha and its variation ranged between 5506 kg/ha (2015) and 7397 kg/ha (2013). The minimum yield level was recorded each year in the non-fertilized variants, ranging from 3842 kg/ha (2014) to 4517 kg/ha (2017). The highest production increase per 1 kg of active substance fertilizer was obtained each year in the variants fertilized with 40 kg a.s./ha of nitrogen and phosphorus. The nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization has also influenced the grain quality, which had a positive influence on the protein content and a negative influence on the starch content
