Mobile Tracking Membership Application on PT. LP Expedition Denpasar

PT. LP is a company engaged in freight forwarding which currently has 3500 partners spread throughout Indonesia and one of them is in Denpasar City. Customers owned by PT. The prison located in Denpasar City currently has more than 200 people. However, because PT. LP has not utilized technology in its entire business process, causing several activities at PT. LP becomes ineffective and efficient. Customers are often confused when they want to use a pickup service and cannot find out where the package is sent, because there is no facility to track the status of the package. When the customer wants to pick up the packages, the customer must first confirm via WhatsApp to the admin, include the address where the packages are picked up and also if the customer wants to make a cashless payment, the customer must contact the admin to ask for an account number. In addition, whenever PT. LP held a promo, the information did not reach all customers. The purpose of this research is to provide a solution to these problems by building a membership tracking mobile application which will later be able to help PT. LP to simplify and speed up the process of pickup, tracking the packages, and payments. This study uses the waterfall method and chooses Android as the platform used. The results of this study are an Android-based mobile tracking application that has features of packages pickup, tracking of the packages to be picked up, providing information and promo notifications to customers, and payment features

Genetic Diversity and Phylogenetic of Longtail Tuna (Thunnus tonggol) Landed in Pabean Fish Market, Surabaya

Indonesia is the biggest tuna exporter in Southeast Asia. With a high number of tuna catch, it is worried that the catch will decrease tuna population, specifically longtail tuna. To anticipate the decrease, there needs to be a conservation program to protect longtail tunas from scarcity. One method used to protect longtail tuna is by genetic conservation. The aim of this research is to understand the genetic and phylogenetic variety of the longtail tuna in Pabean Surabaya Fish Market. The polymerase chain reaction was used to amplify segment of the mitochondrial control region gene from members of these sample, used forward primer CRK 5’-AGCTC AGCGC CAGAG CGCCG GTCTT GTAAA-3’ and reverse primer CRE 5’-CCTGA AGTAG GAACC AGATG-3’. Based on the sequencing process, 28 out of 29 samples longtail tuna  were analyzed successfully. The results of the 28 sample analysis of longtail tuna based on its genetic variety and phylogenetic tree reconstruction showed a haplotype variety (Hd) score of 1,00000, and nucleotide (π) variety of 0,1939. Genetic variety value showed that longtail tuna has great adaption capabilities toward environmental changes time to time. Phylogenetic tree reconstruction results showed 7 clades with a genetic range of 0,005 – 0,035, which shows that all samples are closely related. Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa Tumpak Kecamatan Pujut Lombok Tengah Melalui Pelatihan Uji Kelayakan Instalasi Listrik

The increasing demand for electrical energy, especially in the household sector, requires the use of electrical equipment with electrical installations that meet the safety standard criteria according to SNI: 0225 (PUIL 2011). Electrical energy provides great benefits for human life, but it is also a threat to human life. This can happen if you do not comply with the standards for installing and using electrical installation equipment in accordance with SNI: 0225 (PUIL 2011) and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 045 of 2005, as well as behavior that is not wise and proper in using electrical equipment. As one of the villages in the KEK Mandalika area, Tumpak village has the potential to develop eco-friendly tourism, so it is necessary to prepare human resources with knowledge of electrical installations. Through community empowerment activities there has been an increase in the ability of participants in terms of theory and practice of the electrical installation feasibility test with an average value of 58.998 to 81.98 or an average increase of 38.95%

Problems of Democratic and Dignified Election in Indonesian Simultaneously Electoral Era

This research was motivated by the section material in Act No. 7 of 2017 concerning General Election that not arranged in a structured, systematic and massive, so it appears the section material that overlaps with Constitutional Court and the Constitution of 1945. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of simultaneous elections in 2019 in order to bring democracy with dignity and integrity in the next election. The research type is a literature study. This research uses laws and conceptual approach. The main data of this study is obtained from primary and secondary law materials. PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN PREPARAT SQUASH UJUNG AKAR UNTUK PENGAMATAN KROMOSOM PADA GURU-GURU BIOLOGI DI KOTA MATARAM

Guru biologi yang professional tidak saja bertugas mengajar materi di kelas tetapi juga dapat membimbing praktikum di laboratorium. Agar dapat membimbing praktikum dengan baik, guru biologi harus dibekali keterampilan teknik laboratorium khususnya pada kegiatan praktikum yang membutuhkan keterampilan dan kecermatan, seperti pembuatan sediaan kromosom dan observasi kromosom di bawah mikroskop. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 8 Mataram. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan mikroteknik pembuatan preparat mikroskopis squash ujung akar untuk pengamatan kromosom dan melatih keterampilan observasi (pengamatan) tahap-tahap mitosis dan penentuan bentuk morfologi kromosom di bawahmikroskop. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan dan unjuk kerja dalam bentuk praktek, yang dikombinasikan dengan kegiatan ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Kegiatan praktek yang dilakukan, yaitu (1) pembuatan preparat squash ujung akar tanpa perlakuan zat antimitosis dan dengan perlakuan zat antimitosis, (2) observasi stadium mitosis kromosom, (3) penghitungan jumlah kromosom, (4) penentuan bentuk morfologi kromosom, (5) dokumentasi kromosom dibawah mikroskop, dan (6) pembuatan kunci determinasi kromosom. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa semua guru biologi sangat antusias mengikuti praktek pada pelatihan ini yang ditandai dengan keterlibatan dan ketekunan mereka dalam membuat preparat squash ujung akar, pengamatan mitosis, penghitungan jumlah kromosom, dan penentuan bentuk kromosom. Dengan kegiatan pelatihan ini transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan mikroteknik squash ujung akar dari tim pengabdian kepada guru biologi berjalan dengan baik berkat minat dan motivasi yang tinggi semua peserta pelatihan dalam menghasilkan produk ilmiah preparat kromosom. Produk pelatihan preparat kromosom yang dihasilkan dapat dijadikan bahan praktikum untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sel dan genetika di sekolah

Chikungunya Disease: Infection-Associated Markers from the Acute to the Chronic Phase of Arbovirus-Induced Arthralgia

At the end of 2005, an outbreak of fever associated with joint pain occurred in La Réunion. The causal agent, chikungunya virus (CHIKV), has been known for 50 years and could thus be readily identified. This arbovirus is present worldwide, particularly in India, but also in Europe, with new variants returning to Africa. In humans, it causes a disease characterized by a typical acute infection, sometimes followed by persistent arthralgia and myalgia lasting months or years. Investigations in the La Réunion cohort and studies in a macaque model of chikungunya implicated monocytes-macrophages in viral persistence. In this Review, we consider the relationship between CHIKV and the immune response and discuss predictive factors for chronic arthralgia and myalgia by providing an overview of current knowledge on chikungunya pathogenesis. Comparisons of data from animal models of the acute and chronic phases of infection, and data from clinical series, provide information about the mechanisms of CHIKV infection–associated inflammation, viral persistence in monocytes-macrophages, and their link to chronic signs

Thematic Roles of Sentence Elements Found in "Me Before You" Movie

Sentence is very important in learning language. Sentence is used in every language activity. For understanding sentence, we must study structure of the sentence, elements that form it, and meaning had contained in the elements of the sentence. This research aimed to analyze the structures of simple sentences and thematic roles of sentence elements. This research was observation method which was used in collecting data. Based on the result of the analysis, it was concluded that the elements of sentence consisted of subject, verb, object, complement, and adverbial. There are seven structures of simple sentence found in the data, were: S-V, S-V-O, S-V-A, S-V-C, S-V-O-O, S-V-O-A, and S-V-O-C. The five elements could be combined into one sentence or clause that is called as simple sentence, and forms a simple sentence there are at least subject and verb. Each of sentence elements has its own role except verb because verb describes the role of action conveyed in the sentence. The thematic roles found in the data, namely: agent, patient, theme, goal, source, instrumental, beneficiary, recipient, experiencer, location, and stimulus. The subject may have role as agent, patient, experiencer, and theme. The object can play a role as patient, theme, beneficiary, recipient, and stimulus.
