The development of health in Indonesia is aimed at raising awareness, willingness, and healthy living capability for every person in order to realize a degree of health level. Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) is an infectious disease caused by Dengue virus. The spread of this disease in Indonesia is widespread almost evenly in all major cities, including Pekanbaru City. In 2015 an explosion of dengue fever patients so that Pekanbaru City should be set the status of Extraordinary Events (KLB).The purpose of this study is to find out how much responsiveness of Pekanbaru city government in the prevention of Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), related to the non-stipulation of the status of Extraordinary Occurrence (KLB) in 2015. Type of research used is descriptive research type with qualitative analysis method. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. Technique of data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. While the data analysis is done by qualitative analysis. Researchers use triangulation techniques as a technique to check the validity of data. The results of the study based on service user complaints indicator, bureaucratic apparatus attitude in responding to service user's complaints, the use of service user's complaints as a reference for improvement of public services, government action in providing service and placement of service users in the prevailing service system indicates that government responsv less in facing DBD . This is evidenced by the non-stipulation of the status of Extraordinary Events (KLB), in addition to preventive efforts undertaken by the government is not optimal and evenly distributed throughout the region as well as the government's new actions felt after the fall of human lives

Website Credibility Assessment: An Empirical - Investigation of Prominence-interpretation Theory

While a variety of research studies have examined factors that influence individuals’ attitudes toward and use of websites, an important yet understudied stream looks at the role of website credibility. We examine website credibility through the lens of prominence-interpretation theory. Fogg (2003) developed this theory to help explain the relationships between what users observe about a website, how they interpret it, and how observation and interpretation together determine website credibility. In this paper, we look specifically at the relationship between prominence and interpretation and how these variables interact to influence attitudes about website credibility. We examined this relationship using a controlled laboratory experiment in which we exposed subjects to a website and asked them what they saw and how they interpreted what they saw. We analyzed these data using discriminant analysis and show that the interaction between prominence and interpretation accurately predicts attitudes about credibility, which offers strong support for prominence-interpretation theory. We discuss these findings and their implications for theory and practice

Fibulin-2 is required for basement membrane integrity of mammary epithelium

Fibulin-2 (FBLN2) is a secreted extracellular matrix glycoprotein which has been associated with tissue development and remodelling. In the mouse mammary gland, FBLN2 can be detected during ductal morphogenesis in cap cells and myoepithelial cells at puberty and early pregnancy, respectively. In an attempt to assign its function, we knocked down Fbln2 in the mouse mammary epithelial cell line EpH4. FBLN2 reduction led to an increase in the size of spheroidal structures when compared to scrambled control shRNA-transduced cells plated on Matrigel matrix. This phenotype was associated with a disruption of the collagen IV sheath around the epithelial spheroids and downregulation of integrin β1, suggesting a role for FBLN2 in stabilizing the basement membrane (BM). In contrast to mice, in normal adult human breast tissue, FBLN2 was detected in ductal stroma, and in the interlobular stroma, but was not detectable within the lobular regions. In tissue sections of 65 breast cancers FBLN2 staining was lost around malignant cells with retained staining in the neighbouring histologically normal tissue margins. These results are consistent with a role of FBLN2 in mammary epithelial BM stability, and that its down-regulation in breast cancer is associated with loss of the BM and early invasion

Impact of Heat Pump Load on Distribution Networks

© The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2014. Heat pumps can provide domestic heating at a cost that is competitive with oil heating in particular. If the electricity supply contains a significant amount of renewable generation, a move from fossil fuel heating to heat pumps can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The inherent thermal storage of heat pump installations can also provide the electricity supplier with valuable flexibility. The increase in heat pump installations in the UK and Europe in the last few years poses a challenge for low-voltage networks, because of the use of induction motors to drive the pump compressors. The induction motor load tends to depress voltage, especially on starting. The study includes experimental results, dynamic load modelling, comparison of experimental results and simulation results for various levels of heat pump deployment. The simulations are based on a generic test network designed to capture the main characteristics of UK distribution system practice. The simulations employ DIgSlILENT Power Factory to facilitate dynamic simulations that focus on starting current, voltage variations, active power, reactive power and switching transients

Spin-orbit induced backflow in neutron matter with auxiliary field diffusion Monte Carlo

The energy per particle of zero-temperature neutron matter is investigated, with particular emphasis on the role of the LS\vec L\cdot\vec S interaction. An analysis of the importance of explicit spin--orbit correlations in the description of the system is carried out by the auxiliary field diffusion Monte Carlo method. The improved nodal structure of the guiding function, constructed by explicitly considering these correlations, lowers the energy. The proposed spin--backflow orbitals can conveniently be used also in Green's Function Monte Carlo calculations of light nuclei.Comment: 4 pages, 1 figur

Measurement of non-invasive blood glucose is one way to increase the frequency of self-monitoring of blood glucose (SMBG). For NIR reflectance spectroscopy, its application in non-invasive constrained by high value of standard error of prediction. The mean standard error of prediction was 25 mg/dL. Theoretically, NIR reflectance spectroscopy still can be used to predict blood glucose levels in certain conditions such as hypoglycemia (<55 mg/dL), controlled fasting blood glucose (FBG) (70-115 mg/dL), and hyperglycemia (>225 mg/dL), which the difference between the three conditions is more than 25 mg/dL. The results showed that there are significant differences in standards values of photometer measurement between controlled FBG and hyperglycemic conditions (P = 0.002). The results also showed that the photometer can be used to assist the monitoring of blood glucose in FBG under control and hyperglycemic conditions. It can be seen from the average percentage of the daily controlled FBG conditions in patients conducting SMBG in photometer-assisted compared to in patients only use SMBG once a day (28% versus 18%, P = 0.344)

Objective: Three sensitive, simple, precise, reproducible, and validated spectrophotometric methods have been developed for the determination of anti-psychotic drug (asenapine maleate) in pure and pharmaceutical dosage forms. Methods: The methods are based on the formation of yellow-colored ion-pair complex between asenapine maleate and three acid dyes, namely, bromocresol purple (BCP), bromophenol blue (BPB) and bromothymol blue (BTB) with absorption maxima at 410, 414 and 416 nm, respectively. Several parameters such as pH, buffer type and volume, reagent volume, the sequence of addition and effect of extracting solvent were optimized. Results: Under the optimum experimental conditions, beer’s law is obeyed over the concentration ranges of 1.0–20, 1.0–14, and 1.0-16 μg/ml for BCP, BPB and BTB, respectively, with good correlation coefficients (0.9994-0.9998). The apparent molar absorptivity and Sandell’s sensitivity values are reported for all methods. The limit of detection (LOD) and the limit of quantification (LOQ) values are found to be 0.27, 0.30, and 0.25 μg/ml and 0.90, 1.0, and 0.83 μg/ml for BCP, BPB and BTB, respectively. The stoichiometric ratio of the formed ion-pair complexes was found to be 1:1 (drug: reagent) for all methods, as deduced by Job's method of continuous variation. Conclusion: The proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of asenapine maleate in pharmaceutical formulations with good accuracy and precision. Statistical comparison of the results was performed using Student's t-test and variance ratio F-test at the 95% confidence level and there was no significant difference between the reported and proposed methods regarding accuracy and precision. Further, the validity of the proposed methods was confirmed by recovery studies via standard addition technique in accordance with ICH guidelines
