This study was conducted to determine the effect of the soundness of banking financial institutions variable as measured by Return on Assets, Net Interest Margin, and Capital Adequacy Ratio on share prices at government banks in the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2015. The population of this study is the Government commercial banks consisting of BRI Bank, BNI Bank, BTN Bank, and Bank Mandiri. The sample of this study is the assessment of the soundness of government commercial banks on stock prices, with the scope of the assessment covering the factors of ROA, NIM, and CAR. The sample was obtained through the publication of 2008-2015 annual financial statements totaling 32 data. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis, while the measurement tool uses t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The results showed that the ROA variable had a positive and significant effect on stock prices, the NIM variable had a negative and significant effect on stock prices, the CAR variable had a positive and significant effect on stock prices at government commercial banks in the Indonesia Stock Exchange

Charged Rotating BTZ Black Hole and Thermodynamic Behavior of Field Equations at its Horizon

In this paper, we study different cases of the charged rotating BTZ black hole with reference to their horizons. For the existence of these cases conditions on mass, charge and angular momentum of the black hole are obtained. It is also shown that the Einstein field equations for the charged rotating BTZ black hole at the horizon can be expressed as first law of thermodynamics, dE=TdS+ΩdJ+Φdq+PrdAdE=TdS+\Omega dJ+\Phi dq+P_{r}dA.Comment: 12 pages, 3 figure

The Revitalization Concept of “Pramuka Penggalang” in The Digital Game Design

The scout activity is a non-formal education in environments such as school and family. Generally, it held in the outdoors as an attractive place, challenging, creative, innovative, and fun. Unfortunately, scout activity is sometimes viewed by half of the millennials as an out-of-date and tedious activity. This kind of thinking created because of a lack of understanding and knowledge. Whereas, many materials introduced in scout activity give a role of forming positive char- acters. This activity even becomes a tool for developing one’s personality. The making of The “Pramuka Penggalang” concept design in the digital game is an attempt to contributing an open mind for the Millenials. The application of Tracy Fullerton’s theory to forming structural game marks two essential elements; formal element and dramatic element. This digital game concept design created to help players to gain information about “Pramuka Penggalang” activity and to change the old image of scout activity to become more fun in the eyes of today’s generation. Static Axisymmetric Einstein Equations in Vacuum: Symmetry, New Solutions and Ricci Solitons

An explicit one-parameter Lie point symmetry of the four-dimensional vacuum Einstein equations with two commuting hypersurface-orthogonal Killing vector fields is presented. The parameter takes values over all of the real line and the action of the group can be effected algebraically on any solution of the system. This enables one to construct particular one-parameter extended families of axisymmetric static solutions and cylindrical gravitational wave solutions from old ones, in a simpler way than most solution-generation techniques, including the prescription given by Ernst for this system. As examples, we obtain the families that generalize the Schwarzschild solution and the CC-metric. These in effect superpose a Levi-Civita cylindrical solution on the seeds. Exploiting a correspondence between static solutions of Einstein's equations and Ricci solitons (self-similar solutions of the Ricci flow), this also enables us to construct new steady Ricci solitons

Exhaustive Search-based Model for Hybrid Sensor Network

A new model for a cluster of hybrid sensors network with multi sub-clusters is proposed. The model is in particular relevant to the early warning system in a large scale monitoring system in, for example, a nuclear power plant. It mainly addresses to a safety critical system which requires real-time processes with high accuracy. The mathematical model is based on the extended conventional search algorithm with certain interactions among the nearest neighborhood of sensors. It is argued that the model could realize a highly accurate decision support system with less number of parameters. A case of one dimensional interaction function is discussed, and a simple algorithm for the model is also given.Comment: 6 pages, Proceeding of the International Conference on Intelligent & Advanced Systems 2012 pp. 557-56

Non-Invasive Induction Link Model for Implantable Biomedical Microsystems: Pacemaker to Monitor Arrhythmic Patients in Body Area Networks

In this paper, a non-invasive inductive link model for an Implantable Biomedical Microsystems (IBMs) such as, a pacemaker to monitor Arrhythmic Patients (APs) in Body Area Networks (BANs) is proposed. The model acts as a driving source to keep the batteries charged, inside a device called, pacemaker. The device monitors any drift from natural human heart beats, a condition of arrythmia and also in turn, produces electrical pulses that create forced rhythms that, matches with the original normal heart rhythms. It constantly sends a medical report to the health center to keep the medical personnel aware of the patient's conditions and let them handle any critical condition, before it actually happens. Two equivalent models are compared by carrying the simulations, based on the parameters of voltage gain and link efficiency. Results depict that the series tuned primary and parallel tuned secondary circuit achieves the best results for both the parameters, keeping in view the constraint of coupling co-efficient (k), which should be less than a value \emph{0.45} as, desirable for the safety of body tissues.Comment: IEEE 8th International Conference on Broadband and Wireless Computing, Communication and Applications (BWCCA'13), Compiegne, Franc

Optical Photometry and Spectroscopy of the Suspected Cool Algol AV Delphini: Determination of the Physical Properties

We present new spectroscopic and BVRI photometric observations of the double-lined eclipsing binary AV Del ( period = 3:85 days) conducted over six observing seasons. A detailed radial velocity and light-curve analysis of the optical data shows the system to be most likely semidetached, with the less massive and cooler star filling its Roche lobe. The system is probably a member of the rare class of ‘‘cool Algol’’ systems, which are distinguished from the ‘‘classical’’ Algol systems in that the mass-gaining component is also a late-type star rather than a B- or A-type star. By combining the spectroscopic and photometric analyses, we derive accurate absolute masses for the components of M1 = 1.453 + 0.028 M and M2 = 0.705 + 0.014 M and radii of R1 = 2.632 + 0.030 R and R2 = 4.233 + 0.060 R, as well as effective temperatures of 6000 + 200 and 4275 + 150 K for the primary and secondary, respectively. There are no obvious signs of activity (spottedness) in the optical light curve of the binary

Thermodynamic Interpretation of Field Equations at Horizon of BTZ Black Hole

A spacetime horizon comprising with a black hole singularity acts like a boundary of a thermal system associated with the notions of temperature and entropy. In case of static metric of BTZ black hole, the field equations near horizon boundary can be expressed as a thermal identity dE=TdS+PrdAdE = TdS + P_{r}dA, where E=ME = M is the mass of BTZ black hole, dAdA is the change in the area of the black hole horizon when the horizon is displaced infinitesimally small, PrP_{r} is the radial pressure provided by the source of Einstein equations, S=4πaS= 4\pi a is the entropy and T=κ/2πT = \kappa / 2\pi is the Hawking temperature associated with the horizon. This approach is studied further to generalize it for non-static BTZ black hole and show that it is also possible to interpret the field equation near horizon as a thermodynamic identity dE=TdS+PrdA+Ω+dJdE = TdS + P_{r}dA + \Omega_{+} dJ, where Ω+\Omega_{+} is the angular velocity and JJ is the angular momentum of BTZ black hole. These results indicate that the field equations for BTZ black hole possess intrinsic thermodynamic properties near horizon.Comment: 8 page
