This article aims to reveal the primary messages in the Quran (2: 222) by employing a ma’na-cum-maghza hermeneutic approach. This descriptive-analytic study inspired by a particular interpretation of the term adha in the verse; as in some classical literature, it was interpreted as something dirty, disgusting, and ill. Women seem to be seen as an item rather than people. This product of misogynistic and euphemistic interpretation is the author’s unease. Even so, in its development after going through an in-depth search using reference sources from classical and modern commentaries and studies through analysis of linguistic aspects and aspects of micro and macro historical contexts, QUR’AN (2:222) has two main messages, namely upholding the values of humanism and sex education to all married couples

Mathematicts learning process ussually takes place with the lecture method. So that students just listen, not many ideas put forward, students feel bored, especially math lessons they find difficult. In mathematical operations form the subject of algebra are abstract elements, they have difficulty understanding abstract concepts. One effort to help students understand the concept of algebra by using props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials). The purpose of this study to determine the students 'response to the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials), to determine students' creative thinking skills in the subject of mathematics learning operations in the algebra of MTs Al-Hidayah Ciawijapura. In addition, to determine the effect of the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) to creative thinking skills of students on the subject of operations in the algebra of MTs Al Hidayah Ciawijapura. Based on the results of the study, students' response to the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) in mathematics including a very strong category with an average of 82.23%. Creative thinking skills of students in mathematics learning test average of 75.21%, the value of good category. While the results of the use of the analysis of hypothesis testing showed t_hitung> t_tabel or 2.977> 2.042. This means that the use of props AEM (Algebraic Experience Materials) to creative thinking skills of students there is the influence of 22.29% and the remaining 77.71% influenced by other factors not examined

Establishing a Core Outcome Measure for Fatigue in Patients on Hemodialysis: A Standardized Outcomes in Nephrology–Hemodialysis (SONG-HD) Consensus Workshop Report

Fatigue is one of the most highly prioritized outcomes for patients and clinicians, but remains infrequently and inconsistently reported across trials in hemodialysis. We convened an international Standardized Outcomes in Nephrology–Hemodialysis (SONG-HD) consensus workshop with stakeholders to discuss the development and implementation of a core outcome measure for fatigue. 15 patients/caregivers and 42 health professionals (clinicians, researchers, policy makers, and industry representatives) from 9 countries participated in breakout discussions. Transcripts were analyzed thematically. 4 themes for a core outcome measure emerged. Drawing attention to a distinct and all-encompassing symptom was explicitly recognizing fatigue as a multifaceted symptom unique to hemodialysis. Emphasizing the pervasive impact of fatigue on life participation justified the focus on how fatigue severely impaired the patient’s ability to do usual activities. Ensuring relevance and accuracy in measuring fatigue would facilitate shared decision making about treatment. Minimizing burden of administration meant avoiding the cognitive burden, additional time, and resources required to use the measure. A core outcome measure that is simple, is short, and includes a focus on the severity of the impact of fatigue on life participation may facilitate consistent and meaningful measurement of fatigue in all trials to inform decision making and care of patients receiving hemodialysis
