On the dynamics of rational solutions for 1-D generalized Volterra system

The Hirota bilinear formalism and soliton solutions for a generalized Volterra system is presented. Also, starting from the soliton solutions, we obtain a class of nonsingular rational solutions using the "long wave" limit procedure of Ablowitz and Satsuma, and appropriate "gauge" transformations. La série d’expositions Science-Fiction, dont Harald Szeemann a été le commissaire en 1967 et 1968, peut être vue comme un moment où il teste quelques méthodologies qu’il utilisera pendant toute sa carrière. Avec plus de 4000 objets montrés, principalement des livres, pulps et fanzines, mais aussi des œuvres d’art, des jouets, des objets de mode et scientifiques, baignés dans de la musique pop, ces expositions ont permis au commissaire d’expérimenter ses possibilités transdisciplinaires d’une manière très innovante pour l’époque. Dans ce contexte, la science-fiction devient un thème à partir duquel il peut exposer ses réflexions sur l’Utopie et initier une critique plus large des modalités en vigueur en muséologie. À l’aide d’une approche historique et d’une description détaillée de son projet, centrée sur son étape parisienne au Musée des arts décoratifs, en révélant aussi quelques écueils et manques de sa démarche, cette recherche souhaite jeter un éclairage sur quelques particularités des objectifs et de la méthode du jeune Harald Szeemann.The Science-Fiction exhibition series, curated by Harald Szeemann in 1967 and 1968, can be seen as prototypes for his future ways of curating. With more than 4000 objects exhibited, mainly books, pulps and fanzines, but also works of art, toys, fashion and scientific items, surrounded by pop music, these shows allowed the curator to experiment trans-disciplinarity in a very innovative and inedite way. In this context science-fiction became the theme on which he could articulate his first ideas of Utopia, and give a first impulse to a broader museum critic. With the help of a historical and detailed description of this project, focused on the Musée des arts décoratifs displays in Paris, and revealing the blind spots of its choices, this research aims to shed light on a few features of the young Harald Szeemann’s methodology
