This study aims to determine the effect of Brand Awareness, Perceived Quality, Brand Association and Brand Loyalty simultan and parsial on Brand Equity. This research used explanatory research to test the hypothesis and quantitative approaches. The number of samples in this research were 100 respondents who are Citizens Saxophone Lowokwaru District Malang. Analysis this stduy using regression analysis techniques. These results indicate that the effect of simultan each indpendent variable on Brand Equity is done by testing the F-test. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained by value Fvalue 13.056, while F table at significant level of 0.05 indicates a value of 1.968. This means that F count larger than F table so that Ho refused and Ha accepted, which means that independent variable Brand Awareness , Perceived Quality, Brand Association , Brand Loyalty has a significant influence simultaneously to variable Brand equity. The results also showed that parsial independent variables showed significant levels on the dependent variable

Utilization of Rice Straw as Substitution Material in Manufacturing Panel Board

The goal of the housing programme is to realize affordable or low cost housing construction for low income society, to improve access to basic services in urban and rural areas and promotion of local building materials. Waste material of rice straw is potential to be used as building materials becaue it contains fibres, SiD2 (if it is mixed with cement, it is possible to form calcium silicate hydrate), wax, pentosan, and lignin. This material is relatively cheap and easiZv available ill the immediate vicinity. The addition of organic materials of the rice straw ill manufacturing panel board is intended to improve the panel quality such as strength, light weight, an thermal properties

Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of elastography in differentiating benign from malignant pancreatic masses for patients.Design: A prospective, consecutive, studySetting: Kasr Alini hospital department of internal Medicine , university of Cairo, Egypt.Subjects: Thirty patients had a solid-appearing pancreatic mass at conventional ultrasound, EUS and CT abdomen were included in the study. Results: A total of 30 patients were included in the study. The age of the Patients ranged between 38 and 70 years with a mean value of 54± 8.6 Years. The study included 22 (73.3%) males and eight (26.7%) females. The mean size of pancreatic masses was 35.6 ± 11.8 mm. The final diagnosis were pancreatic adenocarcinoma (n =25) papillary adenocarcinoma (n =1), papillary adenoma (n =2) and chronic pancreatitis ( n =2). The strain ratio was significantly higher among patient with pancreatic malignant tumour compare with those with inflammatory masses. The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy for elastograpgy to Differentiate malignant from benign pancreatic masses were: 88%, 80%, 95.6%, 57.14% and 86% respectively (area under receiver operating curve 0 .974).Conclusion: EUS elastography is a useful tool for differentiating malignant from benign pancreatic masses through objective evaluation of tissue stiffness

Theoretically the adolescent psychological development is a transition period which is marked by changes in biological, psychological and social aspects. Empirically, the increasing trend of juvenile delinquency is caused by the inability of the early adolescents to be assertive so that their personality become weak and they can easily fall into negative things. This study aimed at determining the extent to which environment and mass media have the influence on assertive behaviour and juvenile delinquency trend in Junior High School in West Java Province. The respondents of this research were 458 students of Junior High Schools in West Java. Questionnaire was used to collect the data. Samples were chosen by using stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis employed Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with two-stages testing: measurement model and structural model, using Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). The results of this study revealed that all hypothetical statements have significant effects. The findings showed that the increasing level of students' assertive behaviour can decrease the tendency of juvenile delinquency in them. Keywords: assertive behaviour, parenting, mass media, juvenile delinquency tren

Computation of melting dissipative magnetohydrodynamic nanofluid bioconvection with second order slip and variable thermophysical properties

This paper studies the combined effects of viscous dissipation, first and second order slip and variable transport properties on phase-change hydromagnetic bio-nanofluid convection flow from a stretching sheet. Nanoscale materials possess a much larger surface to volume ratio than bulk materials which significantly modifies their thermodynamic and thermal properties and lowers substantially the melting point. Gyrotactic non-magnetic micro-organisms are present in the nanofluid. The transport properties are assumed to be dependent on the concentration and temperature. Via appropriate similarity variables, the governing equation with boundary conditions are converted to nonlinear ordinary differential equations and are solved using the BVP4C subroutine in the symbolic software Matlab. The non-dimensional boundary value features a melting (phase change) parameter, temperature-dependent thermal conductive parameter, first as well as second order slip parameters, mass diffusivity parameter, Schmidt number, microorganism diffusivity parameter, bioconvection Schmidt number, magnetic body force parameter, Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameter. Extensive computations are visualized for the influence of these parameters. The present simulation is of relevance in the fabrication of bio-nanomaterials for bio-inspired fuel cells

THE INTRACELLULAR DISTRIBUTION OF GAMMA GLOBULIN IN A MOUSE PLASMA CELL TUMOR (X5563) AS REVEALED BY FLUORESCENCE AND ELECTRON MICROSCOPY

Ferritin- and fluorescein-conjugated antibody staining has been applied to a study of a mouse plasma cell tumor. The presence of myeloma globulin within cisternae of the endoplasmic reticulum was observed at a stage of the secretory process when the remainder of the cytoplasm was essentially free of labeled globulin. The distribution of ferritin suggested a functional heterogeneity among units of the endoplasmic reticulum. Apparently, progressive accumulation of globulin results in distension of the endoplasmic reticulum and, occasionally, in the appearance of considerable quantities of this secretory protein in the extracisternal cytoplasmic matrix. Participation of the Golgi apparatus in the packaging and release of small quantitites of globulin seems likely. In addition, however, fragmentation of the peripheral cytoplasm with rupture of distended ergastoplasmic vesicles appeared to be another pathway whereby globulin is secreted

Establishing a meaningful human rights due diligence process for corporations : learning from experience of human rights impact assessment

The United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Business and Human Rights, Professor John Ruggie, has constructed a new international framework, which is set to become the cornerstone for all action on human rights and business at the international level. The principle of human rights due diligence (HRDD) is the central component of the corporate duty to respect human rights within that framework. This article argues that Ruggie's HRDD principle contains the majority of the core procedural elements that a reasonable human rights impact assessment (HRIA) process should incorporate. It is likely that the majority of corporations will adopt HRIA as a mechanism for meeting their due diligence responsibilities. However, in the context of the contentious debate around corporate human rights performance, the current state of the art in HRIA gives rise to concerns about the credibility and robustness of likely practice. Additional requirements are therefore essential if HRDD is to have a significant impact on corporate human rights performance – requirements in relation to transparency; external participation and verification; and independent monitoring and review
