    REJUVENATION IN T.S. ELIOT'S THE WASTE LAND

    Most of T.S. Eliot's critics and readers see The Wasteland a poem about the crisis of modern culture, and the breakup of civilization. The poem has been discussed and analyzed according to this view. It is thought that the theme of the poem is that of the drifting barrenness in a world incapable of self-sacrificing devotion and no longer held by the bonds of love and faith. It is also thought that in the opening lines of the poem, spring and the promise of life are meant ironically. The study is an attempt to analyze the first part of the poem, "The Burial of the Dead" by which it becomes conspicuous that the poem is not totally about desperation and death. It could also be interpreted as a real promise of life and hope of resurrection. T. S. Eliot seems to be saying that out of death and winter come spring and new life. The opening of his poem portrays this concept clearly while the rest of the poem seems to briefly brush upon that notion, and the poem ends with an appeal for regeneration

    This study aimed at exploring the effects Waiting List on Treatments of (RCT - Ortho - Surgery) in Qassim Area, Saudi Arabia, as the researchers adopted the methodology of descriptive analytical statistics by conducting a questionnaire of three levels (Patients, Administrative employees and Doctors). The study sample consisted of (20) doctors, (30) administrative employees and (50) patients in four hospitals (King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Central Hospital, King Saud Hospital in Unayzah and Qassim Regional Dental Center ) in Qassim Area, Saudi Arabia. The results of the study showed that the paragraph stated (Itis overcrowding in the number of patients who visit the clinics) had the highest approval grades in the three levels of questionnaire (Patients, Administrative employees and Doctors). The study results also concluded that there is an effect of the Waiting List on Treatments of (RCT - Ortho - Surgery) in Qassim Area, Saudi Arabia upon the (doctors, patients and administrative employees) point of view.     Bilateral Sub-acute Subdural Hematoma of the Posterior Fossa As a Complication of Anti-coagulation Therapy: A Case Report and Literature Review

    Background: Subdural hematomas are one of the commonest neurosurgical pathologies faced in practice and it is rarely located in the posterior fossa. Posterior fossa subdural hematomas are challenging because of the difficulty in their diagnosis and management. Case Presentation: A case of bilateral sub-acute subdural hematoma of the posterior fossa in a 65-year-old female presented with a complaint of headache and vomiting for three weeks followed by a decreased level of consciousness two days prior to admission. The patient is a known cardiac patient on long-term anti-coagulant, her condition was intensively investigated and the diagnosis of posterior fossa subacute hematoma was reached, following which the patient was treated surgically and improved in the postoperative period. Conclusion: Subdural hematomas located in posterior fossa are considered very rare. Most of the reported cases are due to anti-coagulant use, with minor number of cases due to trauma. Literature denoted difficulty reaching diagnosis using only computed tomography and advice to be aided by magnetic resonance imaging as in our case. In most occasions, surgical management is the best choice for the management of such a case, regardless of surgical technique, and will result in excellent outcome

Motivated by the need to highlight the need for employing AI in battling the COVID-19 Crisis, this survey summarizes the current state of AI applications in clinical administrations while battling COVID-19. Furthermore, we highlight the application of Big Data while understanding this virus. We also overview various intelligence techniques and methods that can be applied to various types of medical information-based pandemic. We classify the existing AI techniques in clinical data analysis, including neural systems, classical SVM, and edge significant learning. Also, an emphasis has been made on regions that utilize AI-oriented cloud computing in combating various similar viruses to COVID-19. This survey study is an attempt to benefit medical practitioners and medical researchers in overpowering their faced difficulties while handling COVID-19 big data. The investigated techniques put forth advances in medical data analysis with an exactness of up to 90%. We further end up with a detailed discussion about how AI implementation can be a huge advantage in combating various similar viruses

    Growth and Yield of Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa L) as Influenced by Plant Population in Arid Tropic of Sudan under Rain-fed.

    Abstract Growth plant is the result of transfer of solar radiation in to the photosynthetic processes of green leaf and transmission of photosynthates into increased biomass. Recently, many researchers have manipulated plant row-spacing and direction as well as plant populations within the row, to increase crop production through more efficient use of solar energy. A field experiment was conducted in North Kordofan State of Sudan, to investigate the effect of intra -row spacing (10, 20, 30 and 40cm) and planting stand (two and three plants per stand) on yield and yield components of Hibiscus sabdariffa L. The results showed that, plant population had a significant effect on most of the attributes measured. Closer spacing increased the number of branches per plant, days to 50% flowering, days to 95% physiological maturity, number of calyces per plant, calyces yield (g/plant) and decreased final calyces yield (t/ha). Spacing of 20 cm and three plants per stand gave highest calyces yield (t/ha)

    The effect of precursor concentration on the particle size, crystal size, and optical energy gap of CexSn1â’xO2 nanofabrication

    In the present work, a thermal treatment technique is applied for the synthesis of CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticles. Using this method has developed understanding of how lower and higher precursor values affect the morphology, structure, and optical properties of CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticles. CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticle synthesis involves a reaction between cerium and tin sources, namely, cerium nitrate hexahydrate and tin (II) chloride dihydrate, respectively, and the capping agent, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP). The findings indicate that lower x values yield smaller particle size with a higher energy band gap, while higher x values yield a larger particle size with a smaller energy band gap. Thus, products with lower x values may be suitable for antibacterial activity applications as smaller particles can diffuse through the cell wall faster, while products with higher x values may be suitable for solar cell energy applications as more electrons can be generated at larger particle sizes. The synthesized samples were profiled via a number of methods, such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). As revealed by the XRD pattern analysis, the CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticles formed after calcination reflect the cubic fluorite structure and cassiterite-type tetragonal structure of CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticles. Meanwhile, using FT-IR analysis, Ce-O and Sn-O were confirmed as the primary bonds of ready CexSn1−xO2 nanoparticle samples, whilst TEM analysis highlighted that the average particle size was in the range 6−21 nm as the precursor concentration (Ce(NO3)3·6H2O) increased from 0.00 to 1.00. Moreover, the diffuse UV-visible reflectance spectra used to determine the optical band gap based on the Kubelka–Munk equation showed that an increase in x value has caused a decrease in the energy band gap and vice versa
