    Neutrino masses, cosmological bound and four zero Yukawa textures

    Get PDF
    Four zero neutrino Yukawa textures in a specified weak basis, combined with μτ\mu\tau symmetry and type-I seesaw, yield a highly constrained and predictive scheme. Two alternately viable 3×33\times3 light neutrino Majorana mass matrices mνA/mνBm_{\nu A}/m_{\nu B} result with inverted/normal mass ordering. Neutrino masses, Majorana in character and predicted within definite ranges with laboratory and cosmological inputs, will have their sum probed cosmologically. The rate for 0νββ0\nu\beta\beta decay, though generally below the reach of planned experiments, could approach it in some parameter region. Departure from μτ\mu\tau symmetry due to RG evolution from a high scale and consequent CP violation, with a Jarlskog invariant whose magnitude could almost reach 6×1036\times 10^{-3}, are explored.Comment: Published versio

    The invention makes the Datacenter intelligent and scalable in case of “Firmware and System Software updates”. Datacenter ecosystem generally consists of following major components Datacenter Products (Servers, Storage and Network devices) Central Management System (Manages the lifecycle of Datacenter Products). Administrators (Humans maintaining the datacenter) The innovation introduces a new way to do Firmware and System software upgrade and fresh installation on Datacenter Products. This is achieved with two newly introduced software: Smart Update Module The Store Smart Update Module: The Smart Update Module is intelligent software running on a Management Processor. Management processor is small integrated chip inside each Datacenter Product dedicated for managing the lifecycle of each individual Product. Capabilities of the Smart Update Module: Collects the inventory of Firmware and System software of the host Datacenter product. Compares the collected inventory with the Store to check if there are any latest Firmware and System software available for upgrade or fresh installation. Sends alerts to Central Management System (Manager) to notify the Administrator to plan for upgrade. Finally based on Administrator’s planned maintenance window, downloads the Firmware and System Software and upgrades the product. The product can be a Server, Storage and Network devices. The Store: The Store is cloud platform which provides Firmware and System Software over the internet. Capabilities of the Store: The Store contains a huge collection of Firmware and System software required for each Datacenter Product to be usable. The Store always maintains the latest available collection of Firmware and System Software to facilitate upgrades of existing firmware and System software. The Store allows the Smart Update Module to connect and compare its inventory of Firmware and System software against the latest available in the Store. The Store allows the Smart Update Module to pull latest Firmware and System Software for upgrade or fresh installation in case of newly added Datacenter Products. Together with the Smart Update Module and the Store, the entire Firmware and System software upgrade and fresh installation can be made scalable, with increased performance, lightweight Central Management System (Manager) and the entire process is automated

    Screening of bacterial strains for pectate lyase production and detection of optimal growth conditions for enhanced enzyme activity

    Get PDF
    In the present study, the pectatelyase production by fifty two bacterial strains isolated from ramie grown soils were studied and the strain RDSM01 showed maximum pectate lyase activity. According to sequence homology of Genbank, the strain RDSM01 was identified as Bacillus subtilis (Genbank Accession No. KX035109). Maximum pectate lyase activity of the strain was observed when 1.5% (v/v) inoculum was added to the growth medium and was incubated for 48 hours at 34-370C and at pH 7.0. The relative activity of the strain was 19% higher when apple pectin was used as carbon source compared to citrus pectin. Maximum enzyme production (149.1 – 153.4 IU/ml) was recorded when ammonium chloride or ammonium sulphate at 0.4% concentration was used as nitrogen source. Thus, B. subtilis strain RDSM01 possessing high pectate lyase activity may be effectively utilized for removal of gum from ramie fibre, which is primarily made of pectin and hemicellulose

    Scaling ansatz, four zero Yukawa textures and large θ13\theta_{13}

    Full text link
    We investigate 'Scaling ansatz' in the neutrino sector within the framework of type I seesaw mechanism with diagonal charged lepton and right handed Majorana neutrino mass matrices (MRM_R). We also assume four zero texture of Dirac neutrino mass matrices (mDm_D) which severely constrain the phenomenological outcomes of such scheme. Scaling ansatz and the present neutrino data allow only Six such matrices out of 126 four zero Yukawa matrices. In this scheme, in order to generate large θ13\theta_{13} we break scaling ansatz in mDm_D through a perturbation parameter and we also show our breaking scheme is radiatively stable. We further investigate CP violation and baryogenesis via leptogenesis in those surviving textures.Comment: 25 pages, 8 figures, Accepted for publication in Phys. Rev.
