A comparative study of the beginning of the 11th act of the Tocharian A Maitreyasamitināṭaka and the Old Uyghur Maitrisimit

The Tocharian A Maitreyasamitināṭaka, a long dramatic text about the future Buddha Maitreya that is translated into Old Uyghur prose as the Maitrisimit, is one of the most important texts of Tochar-ian and Old Uyghur Buddhism. It is of crucial importance for Tocharian studies because even smaller fragments can often be interpreted successfully with the help of the better preserved Old Uyghur parallels. Zunun Kadir’in Uygur Edebi Ahbaratçılığına Katkısı

Bu makalede, Çağdaş Uygur edebiyatında önemli bir tür olan edebi haberciliğin ortaya çıkışı ve Zunun Kadir’in “Şefkat Hemşiresi” isimli eserinin bu türün Uygur edebiyatına girişindeki katkısı üzerinde durulmuştur. Bugüne kadar okuyuculardan büyük ilgi gören “Ahmetcan Kasimi” isimli eser ile bu tür daha da önem kazanmıştır. Zunun Kadir 20. yüzyıl Uygur edebiyat tarihinde sadece hikayeciliği ile değil ahbaratçılık türü ile de öne çıkmıştır. “Şefkat Hemşiresi” isimli eseri ile kahraman Uygur kızı Rızvangül; Amannisahan, Nuzuğum, Yette Kızlarım gibi halk arasında haklarında efsaneler anlatılan kahramanlara dönüşmüştür. Zunun Kadir’in edebi ahbaratlarını az ve öz olarak ifade etmek yerinde olacaktır

Erratum to: Every Banach space admits a homogenous measure of non-compactness not equivalent to the Hausdorff measure

[1, Theorem 4.4] states that every infinite dimensional Banach space admits a homogenous measure of noncompactness not equivalent to the Hausdorff measure. Howevere, there is a gap in the proof. In fact, we found that [1, Lemma 4.3] is not true. In this erratum, we give a corrected proof of [1, Theorem 4.4]
