Ameloblastoma, a common form of odontogenic tumor, is usually treated by surgery. However, wound infections remain a significant source of postoperative morbidity, accounting for about a quarter of the total number of nosocomial conditions. Surgical wound infection (SWI) is common after surgery, and in particular, wound infection has been linked with an intraoral surgical opening in 20–40-year-old patients. Common incisional closure complications in oral and maxillofacial surgery include postoperative wound infection, dehiscence, formation of hematomas, and skin flap necrosis, which lead to delayed healing of the incision. The data relating to the incidence of post-mandible resection SWI in Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung Hospital are not yet known. Therefore, the objective of this research was to assess the incidence of SWI in ameloblastoma patients after mandible resection treatment. This research adopted an observational and descriptive approach. Based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the research subjects were recruited between January 2018 and December 2019. This study showed the occurrence of SWI in 7 patients (2 men and five women) who had mandibular resection treatment for ameloblastoma and whose age range was 30–40 years. The results also revealed that the surgical openings in these patients were intraoral. In conclusion, findings demonstrated a higher prevalence of SWI in women after mandibular resection treatment than in men

One form of enforcement and supervision of the capital market is the existence of Law Number 8 of 1995 concerning the Capital Market as legal certainty and the legal basis for conducting capital market activities. Business people in the capital market prefer to resolve non-litigation disputes or alternative dispute resolutions. Because alternative dispute resolution provides convenience options, namely, faster processes, cheaper costs, informal nature, guaranteed confidentiality, freedom to choose third parties who have expertise in their fields, can maintain friendly relations in achieving cooperative dispute resolution, are final, implementation definite face-to-face, and dispute resolution procedures are regulated by the parties themselves. Making a complete arbitration clause will prevent the parties from technical discussions in the future when the dispute does occur, the discussion in the future will be much more difficult than if it was prepared at the initial stage of the agreement. Based on the provisions in Article 2 of the Arbitration Law, with the nomenclature that may arise from the legal relationship, it is used as the basis for parties who feel aggrieved by PMH to resolve existing problems through arbitration. Alternative dispute resolution at the Indonesian Capital Market Arbitration Board. The Arbitration Award is final and has permanent legal force and is binding on the parties. Keywords: Arbitrage, Capital Marke

Objectives: This case aims to report the finding of a unique lesion in the maxilla in a young female patient. Case Report: The patient, a 21-year-old female, presented with a painless swelling on the left palate for the past 3 months, causing discomfort during eating.  On intra-oral examination, there was visible swelling in the left hard palate area, extending from teeth 23 to 26 and extending to the middle of the palate. The patient was referred for a CBCT examination. The aim of writing this article is to assess the findings of a unique case of benign tumor of the palate. The results of the CBCT examination showed radiolucent lesions in the palatal mucosal area without bone resorption. The density of the lesion was higher than that of the surrounding mucosa. The lesion does not damage the tissue of the surrounding area. This is unique because swelling of this size is usually accompanied by extensive bone resorption. Based on its nature, this lesion was diagnosed as a benign soft tissue tumor with differential diagnoses of pyogenic granuloma, pleomorphic adenoma, leiomyoma, and desmoplastic fibroma. Conclusion: The lesion found was a soft tissue tumor lesion at the time; it was found to have a non-aggressive and non-expansive nature, making it difficult to determine a specific radiodiagnosis. The differential diagnosis of this case has been established as follows: Pleomorphic adenoma, pyogenic granuloma and leiomyoma, and pyogenic granuloma, were the options for establishing a provisional radiodiagnosis

Mandible comminuted fracture is define as a fracture in which there are more than one fracture line that cause a number of bone fragments on a region of mandible (symphysis, parasymphysis, body and angle). It is often caused by high energy trauma so that caused a big displacement, teeth avulsion and soft tissue injury. The purpose of this case report is to describe the treatment of bilateral mandible comminuted fracture with wire, plate and screw. The aim for this patient was to restore the occlusion between the maxilla and mandible as it was mal-aligned due to trauma. We reported a case of 31 years old man with trauma where the mechanism was his jaw hit the sidewalk. Panoramic xray showed some fracture line on both side of his mandible. We did intermaxillary wiring as first treatmentt followed by plate and screw mounting. The conclusion of this case was reconstructing a comminuted bilateral fracture on the mandible is very complicated to be done because of the small fragment of bones therefore fixation of wire at the fractured area need to be done before the fixation of plate and screw

Mandibular fractures are less common in children compared to adults, due to a number of factors including the anatomical complexity of mandibular development in a child. This article aims to discuss the treatment’s principle of mandibular fractures differ from that of adults due to concerns regarding mandibular growth and development of dentition. A case of a 7-year old boy with fracture of the left mandibular corpus that sinistra region was treated with a closed reduction method using gunning splints with circumferential mandibular wires. On the sixth week after surgery,  the circumferential mandibular wiring and splint were removed. From clinical examination there was no edema; no oral mucosal abnormalities were found; no teeth mobility; and no step displacement at corpus mandibular sinistra region. The treatment’s goal is to restore the structures from the broken bone to its pre-injury position as non-invasively as possible with minimal residual esthetic and functional impairment

The 1945 Constitution stipulates the right of every citizen to obtain education and the government's obligation to "manage and organize a national education system". Meanwhile, the Regional Government Law stipulates autonomy in the administration of education, while Article 5 paragraph (1) of the National Education System Law stipulates "the right of every citizen to obtain quality educational services". In this regard, so that the implementation of the goals stated in the 1945 Constitution and the National Education System Law can be guaranteed, there must be a national standard. This study aims to find out how the legal basis in regulating the education system can realize quality education. The research method used in this paper is normative juridical law research, which is a scientific research procedure to find the truth based on the logic of legal scholarship from the normative side. The result of the research is that in the ideals stated in the 1945 Constitution and the National Education System Law, the implementation of national standards can be guaranteed. What education providers in Indonesia must follow must be determined by being aware of Indonesia's own conditions. The reformation era has provided a large enough space for the formulation of new educational policies that are reformative and revolutionary. The form of the curriculum is competency-based. Likewise, the form of implementation of education changed from centralized (old order) to decentralized. The education budget is set in accordance with the 1945 Constitution, which is 20% (twenty percent) of the APBN and APBD, so that there are many reforms in the world of education. Keywords: Education, Implemented, Qualit

AbstractWe evaluated the implementation of the endoscopic (E) technique by an interdisciplinary ENT/neurosurgeon team as compared to the established classical microscopic technique (M) performed by one experienced neurosurgeon for pituitary adenomas in a single center. A retrospective analysis of patients operated for newly diagnosed pituitary adenomas was performed between November 2004 and August 2012. Outcome and complications are presented. A total of 116 patients were operated, 64 microscopically (M) and 52 endoscopically (E). Mean follow up was 35months (range 1.4–95), 1 patient was lost to follow-up. Most frequent pathology was hormone inactive adenoma (60% E, 51% M). Operating time was stable in the M-group (±94min). The E-group showed a learning curve in mean operating time (2004–2007: 154min, 2008–2012: 93min). Postoperative CSF leaks were seen in 9.6% (E) vs. 3.1% (M) of cases. More E-cases were re-operated (5 vs. 1) and more M-cases received a lumbar drainage (8 vs. 19). Transient postoperative diabetes insipidus occurred more often after E-operations (17 vs. 5%, p=0.03) without significant long term difference. Improved visual outcome showed a more favorable trend in E-cases. The implementation of the endoscopic technique was associated with more surgical complications in the learning phase, however with more improved visual outcome. Our observations should be of value for the more average neurosurgical department dealing with pituitary adenomas and aiming to switch from the microscopic to the endoscopic technique
