Predicting halal cosmetics purchase intention among consumers in Johor Darul Takzim
Although there is a vast and growing number of literature reviews towards the consumer purchase intention, most of these empirical studies were focused more on the conventional purposes rather than purchase intentions for halal cosmetic products. Thus, the objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the influence of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioural control, knowledge, safety, and purity towards the intention to purchase halal cosmetic product among consumers, (2) to examine the moderating role of education level between the selected variables (attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control) and the intention to purchase halal cosmetic product among consumers, and (3) to propose a framework for halal cosmetic products. In this quantitative research study, a structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert Scale was used as an instrument for the data collection. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed to consumers in Johor with a response rate of 99.5%. The data was analysed using Partial Least Squares Model Analysis (PLS-SEM). The findings indicated that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioural control, knowledge, and purity were found to be positively associated with, and being an influential predictor of purchase intention of halal cosmetic products. Education level was found to be a significant moderator of association between attitude and purchase intention of halal cosmetic products. This study also provides further insights of potential marketing strategies by halal cosmetic product manufacturers, as well as the prospective halal cosmetic industry in Malaysia as a whole

A study on consumer’s acceptance towards green banking practices / Nurul Aien Abd Aziz...[et al.]
Presently, green practice has become a massive trend in the global banking sector. The concept of green banking has caused the banking industry to introduce paperless concept for its operations and technology adoptions across
the country, as an effort to support the go green concept. This concept is also an alternative for the banking industry to reduce the cost of operations while increasing the banking operation productivity. It is very important for the
banking industry to fully understand the acceptance of green banking practices among its customers, because this will influence the customers’ decisions for fractional banking activities like deposits, credit activities, and investments. The acceptance of customers towards the initiatives of green banking will contribute in enhancing the operation and performance of the banking sector in Malaysia. The main objective of this study is to investigate the determinant contributing to the acceptance of green banking among the customers. This study was conducted in Johor, and it used the simple random sampling. The sample was comprised of 118 respondents who participated in answering the given questionnaires. For the findings, the perceived usefulness and safety were the
predictors of the acceptance of green banking practices among the customers
Examining a TPB Model towards Intention to Use Biodegradable Drinking Straw Using PLS-SEM
Intention to use biodegradable drinking straw may be affected by psychological factors. Besides, the impact of factors towards intention may be different between gender. Therefore, this paper analyses the effect of attitude, subjective norm, knowledge, and perceived behavioral control towards the intention to use a biodegradable drinking straw and the moderating effect of gender towards the relationship among variables. The results, which were collected by using online questionnaires and analysed by using PLS-SEM; showed that most of the variables except knowledge had a significant impact on intention to use a biodegradable drinking straw, while gender posits no difference towards the usage intention.

Franchising for Global Distribution: A Systematic Review
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore areas that have been studied extensively in previous studies related to franchising as a platform for global distribution. Furthermore, franchising is a strategic distribution method that gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to replicate an established business model. In addition, franchisees benefit from the use of established branding and receive support from the franchisor. Research design, data, and methodology: This study used the Preferred Reporting Items Systematics Review and Meta- Analyses (PRISMA) method to analyse data from 2003 to 2023 in the Web of Science and Scopus databases. Results: A total of 79 articles were identified and analysed to see trends and related themes such as product distribution, business distribution, business strategy, emerging market, and franchising relationship. Also, publication trends by year related to franchises are also presented. Conclusions: Overall, the research trend related to franchising as a global distribution is well seen, and every year, many researchers begin to explore the topic of franchising as a method of distribution that can be explored from various aspects either quantitatively or qualitatively. Lastly, limitations and recommendations are made to provide guidance for future studies related to the topic broadly and deeply in enriching the findings
