Profil Tingkat Kreativitas dan Kualitas Pengajuan Masalah Statistika Ditinjau Dari Gaya Kognitif pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Angkatan 2014 FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap profil mengenai tingkat kreativitas dan kemampuan pengajuan masalah statistika pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Angkatan 2014 Universitas Negeri Makassar ditinjau dari segi gaya kognitifnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat eksploratif dengan pemberian scaffolding metakognitif pada saat penelitian. Hipotesis penelitian bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field independent (FI) dalam mengajukan masalah statistika dari informasi yang disediakan sudah dapat mengajukan masalah statistika yang dapat diselesaikan dan memuat data baru dan masalah tersebut sudah termasuk masalah statistika yang berkualitas tinggi, sedangkan mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya kognitif field dependent (FD) pada umumnya masalah statistika yang diajukan masih terbatas pada masalah statistika yang dapat diselesaikan dan tidak memuat data baru dan masalah tersebut termasuk masalah statistika yang berkualitas sedang
Problem Solving Ability Of Students Taught By Missouri Mathematics Project
This research was pre experimental research. The experimental design used was One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design which aims to describe and to know the problem solving ability of students of class VIII 3 was taught by applying the model of Missouri Mathematics Project of grade VIII 3. The population was the students of class VIII and the sample was class VIII 3 consisting of 30 students as an experimental class. Based on the results of research and discussion, students were able to solve mathematical problems based on indicators of mathematical problem solving ability. The result of hypothesis test shows: 1)The mean posttest score of the students meets the determined KKM value that is greater equal to 78. This means that the postest average value is significantly greater than 77.9; 2)The average normalized gain value exceeds the medium category. This means that the average value of the gain normalized significantly more than 0.29; and 3)The posttest score obtained by the students has been completed by classical test based on the proportion test. This means that the classical mastery of students' mathematical problem solving abilities after the applied learning model of the Missouri Mathematics Project is significantly more than 0.849.

Antibody-mediated therapy against HIV/AIDS: Where are we standing now?
Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) cases are on the rise globally. To date, there is still no effective measure to eradicate the causative agent, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) is being used in HIV/AIDS management, but it results in long-term medication and has major drawbacks such as multiple side effects, high cost, and increasing the generation rate of escape mutants. In addition, HAART does not control HIV-related complications, and hence more medications and further management are required. With this, other alternatives are urgently needed. In the past, small molecule inhibitors have shown potent antiviral effects, and some of them are now being evaluated in clinical trials. The challenges in developing these small molecules for clinical use include the off-target effect, poor stability, and low bioavailability. On the other
hand, antibody-mediated therapy has emerged as an important therapeutic modality for anti-HIV therapeutics development. Many antiviral antibodies, namely, broad neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) against multiple strains of HIV, have shown promising effects in vitro and in animal studies; further studies are ongoing in clinical trials to evaluate their uses in clinical applications. ANALISIS STRUKTUR HASIL REPAIR WELDING TENTANG SIFAT FISIK DAN MEKANIK PADA CAST WHEEL ALUMINIUM DENGAN METODE PENGELASAN MIG
This research aim to determine the chemical composition of the aluminum alloys,
microstructure, hardness and impact strength before and after MIG welding method on the
aluminum cast wheel. The electrodes used in the welding process is ER 535.
The material used in this study is aluminum cast wheel with specifications:
dimensions 16x7, PCD 4x120 product type of E35. The testing methods conducted in this
study are chemical composition, microstructure test, hardness test and impact test. The
equipment used are Spectrometer Metal Scan, Olympus Metallurgycal Microscope, Brinell
Hardness Tester and Charpy Tester.
The test results showed that the chemical composition of the aluminum cast wheel
contains elements of 91.36% Al, 7.38% Si, and 0.803% Fe as well 0.05% Cu and Mg. The test
results show that the microstructure of Al grain structure in the HAZ region fused with
primary aluminum (α-Al) and grain Si Si alloy formed between the primary α-Al. The results
of hardness test show that in the raw materials specimens is 57.56 kgf/mm², in the weld area
is 44.20 kgf/mm² and the HAZ is 37.73 kgf/mm². The results of impact test on the raw material
is 0.118 Joule/mm², while the weld area is 0.067 Joules/mm². The results of the test show that,
hardness and impact strength due to welding less than the raw material on the aluminum cast
wheel.

Peranan Komunikasi Antar Pribadi Dalam Menciptakan Harmonisasi Keluarga Di Desa Kimaamkabupaten Merauke
Komunikasi antar pribadi merupakan bentuk kegiatan komunikasi yang dilakukan di dalam lingkungan keluarga. Jika intensitas komunikasi antar pribadi di dalam keluarga jarang dilakukan oleh karena berbagai aktifitas dari masing-masing anggota keluarga, maka hal tersebut dapat berakibat pada terjadinya disharmonisasi di dalam keluarga itu sendiri yang dapat mengarah pada terjadinya kesalahpahaman, pertengkaran dan bukan tidak mungkin mengarah kepada kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) yang berujung perceraian. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini berhasil mengungkap dan mendeskripsikan tentang terjadinya disharmonisasidi beberapa keluargadi desa Kimaam Kabupaten Merauke disebabkan terjadinya diskomunikasi disebabkan komunikasi antar pribadi di dalam keluargatidak berlangsung sebagaimana mestinya
Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw dengan Pendekatan Pengajuan Masalah (Problem Posing) di Kelas VIII SMP Ittihad Makassar
This study is research and development refers to 4-D Thiagarajan model which aims at producing a valid learning devices and examining whether cooperative learning tools of jigsaw type problem posing giving approach is effektive to be applied on circle subject matter of grade VIII students at SMP Ittihad Makassar. This study is conducted due to low quality of education, teacher centered is still applied in school in mathematics learning, and a pleasant learning condition has not been achieved yet. Therefore, the problem statement related to the main problem is how is the implementation and the effectiveness of cooperative learning devices of jigsaw type through problem giving approach on circle subject matter. The devices of be produced in this study are the lesson plan, teacher\u27s manual, student\u27s book, student\u27s workbook, and lerning achievement test. Data on teacher and students\u27 activities were obtained by using observation sheet; whereas, to examine students\u27 learning achievement, test of learning achievement was employed. Data on students\u27 response was obtained by using questionaire. Data was analyzed by using statistics deskriptive analysis. The results show that (1) the students are active in having cooperative learning of jigsaw type through problem giving approach, (2) the teacher\u27s activity in cooperative learning of jigsaw type through problem giving approach giving is extremely good, (3) the students\u27 response on positive, and (4) the result of students\u27 learning achivement after having the cooperative learning of jigsaw type through problem giving approach has met the criteria of classical mastery. The result reveals that cooperative learning of jigsaw type through problem giving approach has conducted and is effective to be applied on circle subject matter of grade VIII-A students at SMP Ittihad Makassar. It is suggested that mathematics learning, particulary on the circle subject matter at SMP, teachers should use cooperative learning devices of jigsaw type through problem giving approach because students are delighted and interested in having cooperative learning of jigsaw type through problem giving approach.

Performance of an objective fabric pilling evaluation method
In previous work, we established the principle of objective fabric pilling evaluation based on two-dimensional dual-tree complex wavelet transform (2DDTCWT) image reconstruction and non-linear classification using a neural network. This proof-of-principle work was performed using standard pilling test images. Here, we demonstrate the practical operation of the objective pilling evaluation method using a large set of real fabric pilling samples. We show that piling classification results from a trained multiple-layer perceptron neural network achieve a regression correlation of approximately 96% with the corresponding human expert pilling ratings.<br /
