    Examining the success motivation of the wrestlers in the Turkish national team

    This research was carried out using the scanning model. The aim of the research is to examine the motivations of the wrestlers who compete in the national team in terms of some variables. The universe of the research consists of women and men athletes in the wrestling national team, Antalya stars victory tournament, Yalova young women wrestling national team international tournament camp, Ankara senior free wrestling a national team European championship camp, Bursa ccbnhjjjjmhnseniors gekoromen and u-23 national teams in the European championship camp. . The sample of the study consists of a total of 175 athletes, 125 male and 50 female athletes in the universe of the research and who voluntarily participated in the research. In the research, Sports Specific Success Motivation Scale (SÖBMÖ) was used as a data collection tool. The data were analyzed by statistical analysis program. Non-parametric test techniques were used because the data did not show normal distribution. According to the analysis results of the research, a statistically significant difference was found between the total motivation scores of the athletes in terms of gender and sports history variables (p 0.05). As a result, a difference was found between female athletes and the motives of male athletes to avoid failure.     The Effects of Recreational and Sportive Activities on the Quality of Life of Mothers with Autistic Children’s

    The aim of this study was to determine the effects of recreational activities and sports on the quality of life of the mothers of autistic children. The population of this study is the mothers of autistic children living in Isparta. A total of twenty (20) mothers were chosen using random sampling method and split into control and application groups with equal number of samples (10). Mothers in the application group attended a fifteen (15) days program with 8 hours of specially planned activities per day. The activities consisted of nature walks, trips to historical and artistic sites and social tours (zoo, historical ruins, picnic etc.) as well as sportive activities (swimming). WHOQOL-BREF (TR) Quaility of Life Assessment Instrument was used as a pre-test before the study and as a post-test after the study for evaluating the results of the study. Results were analyzed using SPSS statistical analysis software. Mean rank differences of independent variables between groups and mean differences within groups were compared using a non-parametric test. The alpha level for Type 1 errors was 0.05 (α=0.05). The results revealed a statistically significant difference between the mothers of autistic children in the control and the application groups and the quality of life of the mothers in the application group increased (p0.05). Therefore, specially planned recreational and sportive activities improved the quality of life of the mothers with autistic children. The fact that no significant difference was observed in the control group can be due to the community of the mothers’ daily workload

    The Effect of Adapted Basketball Exercises on the Development of Non-Oral Communication Skills of Autistic Children

    The aim of this study was to determine the effect of adapted basketball exercises on the development of nonverbal communication skills of autistic children. Among the single-subject research models, multiple-polling inter-polling behavior was used. The population of the study consists of children with mild autism spectrum disorder in the special education center in which autistic children are educated in Isparta. The sample of the study was determined by using simple random sampling method for two (2) mildly autistic children of ten (10) years. Written consent was obtained from the parents for the selected children to participate in the study. The aim of the study is to teach selected children the skills of non-verbal communication, to the other person, to shake hands and to shake hands with the other person. The study lasted a total of seventeen (17) weeks, one week of observation and sixteen weeks of application. The same program was applied to both children during the study. The content of the program consists of teaching basic technical skills specific to basketball. These skills include ball holding, right and left hand bouncing, right and left hand dribbling, chest pass, bounce pass, overhead pass and smash techniques. The skills were adapted to the readiness levels of both children. In order to record the data, video camera, entry level data recording form and teaching process data recording forms were used. The data obtained at the end of the application were analyzed by showing on the graph. Since the number of participants was two (2), the data obtained during the seventeen (17) week period were converted to point points in accordance with the scale protocol and converted to line graphs to reveal the change. When the findings of the study were evaluated, it was seen that there were positive changes in the development of non-verbal communication skills of autistic children who extended their hands, squeezed their hands and shook hands with the other person

    In this study, "Men With Behavior Problems remaining in Orphanages in Reducing Children's Behavior Problems of Team Sports Football 's Effect" is aimed to investigate. Football 's children also express their feelings was to determine the effect on. Designated for the purpose ,in the range of 7-11 years , Aydın Provincial Directorate of Social Services and Child Protection Agency in the dormitory of the 15 remaining children 's experiment , 14 percent controlled study was conducted with a total of 29 children . Finally, to make an evaluation study enrolled all the responsible parents of children staying abroad for the first test and post-test were applied , including social adjustment scale . The results of this test were performed with the SPSS program. To the comparison of the mean difference between groups Mann-Whitney U test to Nan- Par , to the comparison of intra-group mean difference in the Wilcoxon Nan Par test were examined. As a result, in orphanages, behavior problems of children with a team sport, football to participate in behavior problems in the reduction (* p <0.05) significance level and (* p <0.01) significance level was significant was found. ÖzetBu araştırmada “Yetiştirme yurtlarında kalan sosyal uyum problemi olan erkek çocukların uyum problemlerinin düzeltilmesinde takım sporlarından futbolun etkisi”ni araştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma evrenini, sosyal hizmetler ve çocuk esirgeme kurumu Aydın il müdürlüğüne bağlı çocuk yuvası ve kız yetiştirme yurdunda kalan; 9–11 yaş aralığındaki sosyal uyum ve davranış bozukluğu olan erkek çocuklar oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemi ise iki aşamada belirlenmiştir. Birinci aşamada; araştırma evrenin içinden kurum psikoloğu ve çocuk gelişim uzmanı tarafından, sosyal uyum ve davranış bozukluğu olan toplam 29 (yirmi dokuz) erkek çocuk belirlenmiştir. İkinci aşamada ise; belirlenen yirmi dokuz (29) erkek çocuğun içinden araştırmacı tarafından basit tesadüfi yöntemle belirlenen on beş (15) çocuk ile deney grubu, on dört (14) çocuk ile de kontrol grubu oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonunda değerlendirme yapabilmek için deney ve kontrol grubunu oluşturan çocukların kaldıkları yurtta bu çocuklardan sorumlu olan bakıcı annelerine sosyal uyum ve davranış ölçeği ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulanmıştır. Bu testin sonuçları SPSS istatistik programı ile yapılmıştır. Gruplar arası sıra ortalaması farklarının karşılaştırmasına sıralı olmayan bağımsız değişkenlere Mann-Whitney U Nan-Par testle, Grup içi ortalama farklarının karşılaştırmasına ise Wilcoxon Nan Par testle bakılmıştır. Tip 1 hata için α= 0.05 ve 0.01 düzeyi alınmıştır. Sonuç olarak; yetiştirme yurdunda kalan, sosyal uyum ve davranış problemi olan çocukların davranış problemlerinin azalmasında ve uyumsal davranışlarının artmasında takım sporlarından olan futbolun *p< 0.05 ve **p< 0.01 düzeyinde etkili olduğu saptanmıştır

One of these theories that comes the first rank is Professor Doctor Howard Gardner’s theory about multiple intelligence.The study  prepared with the help of the information in literature. For the improving the kinestetic intelligence, samples of  studies devoted to the physical education lessons presented in this research. With these apllications students that have the kinestetic intelligence and determined and physiological fundamentals of kinestetic awareness had exposed.Eğitim her geçen gün gelişip değişen ve sürekli yeniliklere açık olan bir kavramdır. Bu anlamda eğitimin kuramsal bazında yeni öğrenme teorileri ortaya atılmakta ve geçerliliği de ispatlanmaktadır. Bu teorilerden birisi olan Prof. Dr. Howard Gardner’in öne sürdüğü çoklu zeka kuramı da bunların başında gelmektedir.  Bu çalışma literatür tarama yöntemiyle hazırlanmış ve çoklu zeka kuramında bahsedilen sekiz zeka türü içinden kinestetik zeka alanının geliştirilmesi için beden eğitimi derslerine yönelik çalışma örnekleri sunulmuştur. Bu tür uygulamalarla kinestetik zekaya sahip öğrencilerin belirlenerek, beden eğitimi derslerinin bu alan gelişimdeki önemi ve kinestetik farkındalık fizyolojik temelleriyle desteklenerek ele alınmıştır

    The purpose of the research is to create a study examination of the perceptions of honor towards women of students studying at the faculty of sports sciences. The research was conducted by scanning the model from the methods of visual research. The research universe is made up of 500 students studying at Suleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Sports Sciences. The sample is; 184 students who have agreed to participate voluntarily in the research from the students who make up the universe. The scale of attitude towards women, which was valid and reliabilityed by Gürsoy (2008), was used. The scale consists of a total of three dimensions and 25 items. Based on cronbach alpha reliability results of the three dimensions and scale sequestered, the validity and reliability of the scale is set to 93. The data of the research were collected using the personal information form consisting of questions containing the information about the socio-demographic characteristics of university students and the honor understanding attitude scale for women. The data was evaluated by the statistical analysis program. The normality test was conducted in order to determine whether the data were normally distributed and the total scores of the sub-dimensions included in the demographic questions and the woman's attitude scale. Since the data did not show normal distribution, multiple comparisons were examined with the Kruskal Wallis and Post-Hoc test, and the binary comparisons with the Man Whitney-U test. Significance level was taken as p <0.05. According to the findings from the data, significant difference was detected in terms of gender, family type, mother education and father education levels. No significant difference in age and place has been detected. As a result, it can be said that in the patriarchal societies, the phenomenon of honor is an obligation imposed on women, women come to mind when it comes to honor, and men are more free in many respects than women

    Investigation of Teachers' Attitudes Towards Sports in Turkey

    This research was conducted to examine the Attitudes of Teachers working in public schools towards Sports in terms of Different Variables. The data of the research were obtained from 403 teachers working in Aydın during the 2020-2021 academic year. As the data collection tool, "Attitude Scale towards Sports" made by Halil Evren Şentürk (2012) was used. Descriptive statistics and nonparametric tests were used to analyze the data. Mann Whitney U-test was used for comparisons of two groups, and Kruskal Wallis H was used for comparing more than two groups. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was found to be 0.97. As a result of the research, a statistically significant difference was found as a result of the analysis made between the sub-dimensions of the attitude towards sports in the variables of the teachers' Gender, Education and Branch (p <0.05). In the gender variable, it was concluded that the Attitudes of Female Teachers towards Sports were higher than male teachers in all sub-dimensions of the scale. When the Educational Status Variable is examined, it is seen that in the dimension of Interest in Sports, Graduate Teachers' Attitudes towards Sports are higher than Undergraduate teachers. In the Active Sports dimension, it is concluded that the Graduate Teachers' Attitude towards Sports scores are higher than the Undergraduate Teachers. It was concluded that Physics, Biology and Science, Turkish and Literature, History, Geography and Social, Religious Culture and Moral Knowledge, PDR and Philosophy, Mathematics and Information Technologies, Vocational Courses and Technology Design teachers were higher than their attitude scores. Physical Education and Sports Teachers' attitude scores in the dimension of Life with Sports Foreign Language Teachers (German and English), Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Science, Turkish and Literature, Religion and Moral Knowledge, PDR and Philosophy, Mathematics and Information Technologies, Vocational Courses and It is higher than the attitude scores of Technology Design teachers. The attitude scores of Physical Education and Sports Teachers in the Active Sports dimension are Foreign Language Teachers (German and English), Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Science, Turkish and Literature, History, Geography and Social, Classroom and Preschool, Special Education, Religious Culture and It is higher than Teachers of Morality, PDR and Philosophy, Mathematics, Information Technology, Vocational Courses and Technology Design. It was concluded that there was no statistically significant difference between the sub-dimensions of age, marital status, education level and attitude towards sports (p> 0.05)
