The color dipole picture of the Drell-Yan process
At high energies, Drell-Yan (DY) dilepton production viewed in the target
rest frame should be interpreted as bremsstrahlung and can be expressed in
terms of the same color dipole cross section as DIS. We compute DY cross
sections on a nucleon target with the realistic parameterization for the dipole
cross section saturated at large separations. The results are compared to
experimental data and predictions for RHIC are presented. The transverse
momentum distribution of the DY process is calculated and energy growth is
expected to be steeper at large than at small transverse momenta. We also
calculate the DY angular distribution and investigate deviations from the
1+cos^2(\theta) shape.Comment: 11 pages, 4 ps-figures, some points are discussed in more detai
Ultrasonic Nanomedicine in the Therapy of Oncological Diseases
In this paper the authors develop the concept of using solid-phase nanoscale inclusions in biological structures, as the concentrators of acoustic energy for ultrasound therapy of oncological diseases. Particu-lar attention is paid to possibility of synthesis of these inclusions directly in the tumor tissue. The validity of the hypothesis of solid-phase sonosensitization has been confirmed in vitro on bacterial cultures. Super-additive effect of combined action of ultrasound and solid-phase sonosensitizer on bacterial cultures was shown. Experimental studies on animals showed that the ultrasound exposure of malignant tumors con-taining nanoparticles of gold and some complex compounds (e.g. theraphthal) results in a significant ther-apeutic effect, which is expressed in a considerable inhibition of tumor growth.

Connection between complete and Moebius forms of gauge invariant operators
We study the connection between complete representations of gauge invariant
operators and their Moebius representations acting in a limited space of
functions. The possibility to restore the complete representations from Moebius
forms in the coordinate space is proven and a method of restoration is worked
out. The operators for transition from the standard BFKL kernel to the
quasi-conformal one are found both in Moebius and total representations.Comment: Changed title and a short paragraph in the section "Conclusion";

Screen recapture detection based on color-texture analysis of document boundary regions
This paper examines a presentation attack detection when a document recaptured from a screen is presented instead of the original document. We propose an algorithm based on analyzing a moirΓ© pattern within document boundary regions as a distinctive feature of the recaptured image. It is assumed that the pattern overlapping the document boundaries is a recapture artifact, not a match between document and background textures. To detect such a pattern, we propose an algorithm that employs the result of the fast Hough transform of the document boundary regions with enhanced pattern contrast. The algorithm performance was measured for the open dataset DLC-2021, which contains images of mock documents as originals and their screen recaptures. The precision of the proposed solution was evaluated as 95.4 %, and the recall as 90.5 %.This work was partially supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (Project No. 18-29-26035)
New 15 MeV electron accelerator for non-destructive testing
A 15 MeV accelerator with the dose rate from 80 to 120 Gy/min at 1m from the target has been designed and manufactured in NPK LUTS, the D.V.Efremov Institute, NIIEFA. The accelerator is intended for nondestructive testing (radiography, introscopy, tomography) of large scale products. Under tests an X-ray beam with the boundary energy of 15-16 MeV and dose rate of 100 Gy/min has been produced. When operating with longer pulse lengths of the accelerated electron current, the beam power was up to 140 Gy/min; with lower currents the 18 MeV energy was attained at a dose rate of 40-50 Gy/min. Biperiodic accelerating structure with axial coupling cells is applied in the accelerator. The accelerating structure buncher provides RF-focusing of the electron beam, therefore there is no need for focusing the solenoid. The focus spot diameter is no more than 2mm. To provide the electron beam stability, the accelerator is equipped with a system for automatic frequency tuning (AFT). The AFT system ensures both coarse tuning of the driver frequency against the temperature of the accelerating structure and fine tuning - against the minimum reflected power. The anode voltage of the klystron amplifier is stabilized by using a de-Q-ing system. A charging choke and pulse forming network (PFN) are located inside the irradiator unit to increase the distance between the modulator and irradiator up to 100m and to reduce losses when high-voltage high-current pulses are transmitted. The low-voltage klystron (anode voltage up to 55 kV) applied in the accelerator allows reducing the machine weight and dimensions (1100 kg and 2040x880x920mm). The accelerator is equipped with a PC-based automatic control system. In the accelerator intended for the radiographic inspection there is an external collimator with movable diaphragm jaws for testing small fragments of an inspected product
Study of hydrodynamics in counterflow cooling tower with corrugated contact elements
Packing for liquid cooling with counter flow of liquid and gas phases had developed by authors of paper. This packing is different from other devices in that it has quite simple design where self distribution of liquid in apparatus working area is organized. In paper an estimating calculations of packing operating mode with maximum efficiency of performed heat and mass transfer processes had conducted. The performed numerical study is showing that at mean gas velocity up to 4 m/s, contact device width equal to 0.1 m and liquid column height on contact stage β 0.02 m the share of liquid that forced through by gas flow is not more then 2 %. Decreasing of holes diameter on inclined contact elements results in increasing of bubbled liquid share. The reported study was funded by grant of the President of the Russian Federation, project number MK-417.2019.8

In the review of the current literature urgent issues of treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation are analyzed, namely prevention of thrombosis and the use of anticoagulants therapy. The article describes the current possibilities of prevention thromboembolic complications in patients with atrial fibrillation at high risk. The fact of insufficient use of preventive antithrombotic therapy in patients with atrial fibrillation with high thrombotic risk is demonstrated, which is associated both with incomplete adherence of doctors to the implementation of clinical recommendations, and with low adherence of patients to receiving prescribed anticoagulants. The review of the literature discusses the difficulties of the use of oral anticoagulants, in particular direct action and their high financial burden, and anticoagulants indirect action and instability of their pharmacological effect. The article demonstrates the difficulties of warfarin therapy, such as insufficient adherence to treatment, genetic characteristics of the patient, alimentary and drug interactions. When discussing the issue of insufficient adherence, it is shown that the data on adherence to drug therapy are not homogeneous and do not fully take into account the influence of patient-dependent characteristics. The prospects of developing an individualized algorithm for choosing an anticoagulant for long-term administration for patients with atrial fibrillation from the position of a patient-oriented approach are separately discussed.Π ΠΎΠ±Π·ΠΎΡΠ΅ ΡΠΎΠ²ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½Π½ΠΎΠΉ Π»ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΡΡ Π°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ·ΠΈΡΡΡΡΡΡ Π°ΠΊΡΡΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ±Π»Π΅ΠΌΡ Π»Π΅ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ Π±ΠΎΠ»ΡΠ½ΡΡ

Assessment of possible cable car accidents by employee competencies using neural networks
Rope transport has received quite a lot of development in the field of passenger and cargo transportation. In some cases (for example, in ski resorts), it is indispensable. To prevent emergency situations, a sufficiently large number of standards and rules for safe operation and maintenance have been developed. However, emergencies do occur. One of the reasons is the insufficient professional training of rope transport workers, who must know and possess the skills to apply the provisions of regulatory documentation, as well as properly perform their professional duties. This article is devoted to the scientific problem of probabilistic assessment of the possibility of various emergency situations on cable transport, depending on the level of mastery of professional competencies and their constituent knowledge, skills and abilities. To solve this problem, a technology based on neural network training has been applied. As an example, specialists in the professional standard Β«Specialist in the organization of safe operation of passenger cable cars and funicularsΒ» are considered
Intra- site 4f-5d electronic correlations in the quadrupolar model of the gamma-alpha phase transition in Ce
As a possible mechanism of the phase transition in pristine
cerium a change of the electronic density from a disordered state with symmetry
Fm-3m to an ordered state Pa-3 has been proposed. Here we include on-site and
inter- site electron correlations involving one localized 4f-electron and one
conduction 5d-electron per atom. The model is used to calculate the crystal
field of -Ce and the temperature evolution of the mean-field of
-Ce. The formalism can be applied to crystals where quadrupolar
ordering involves several electrons on the same site.Comment: 12 pages, 2 figures, 4 tables, submitted to Phys. Rev.
