Environmental degradation resulting from increasing sand mining activities and disposal of palm oil fuel ash (POFA), a solid waste generated from palm oil mill needs to be resolved. Thus, the present research investigates the effect of ground palm oil fuel ash as partial fine aggregate replacement on workability, compressive and flexural strength of concrete. Five mixtures of concrete containing POFA as partial sand replacement designed with 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% of POFA by the weight of sand were used in this experimental work. The cube and beam specimens were casted and water cured up to 28 days before subjected to compressive strength and flexural strength testing respectively. Finding shows that concrete workability reduces as the amount of POFA added become larger. It is worth to note that 10% of POFA is the best amount to be used as partial fine aggregate replacement to produce concrete with enhanced strength

This paper describes an empirical study of effectiveness and satisfaction utility in augmented reality coloring application. Five children aged 6, 7 and 8 from several Primary School participated in usability test. This study involved applications that were used to study and observe the children interaction with augmented reality coloring application. These pre-tests were to measure the effectiveness and satisfaction on wizard Oz by conducting usability test, observation survey methods in order to assess children experience with augmented reality application. By following children computer interaction methodology the usability test appears to be helpful by providing input to design user interface and improve user experience. The result offers graphical instruction on interaction design framework for children augmented reality application. This research employed a qualitative experimental research with purpose to investigate the effects of user interface and user experience. This study had resulted animated graphical instruction in the production of coloring augmented reality application. It is a critical and comprehensive review of a range of recently published literature sources addressing various issues related to children computer interactio

The skill of analyzing statistical data is a skill that uses quantitative or numerical methods. The need for a systematic research process usually requires a foundation of quantitative skills even if little other than its importance in the realm of future employment and important knowledge for every student, especially for those who conduct research scientifically. Creative arts students are students who venture into the field of arts and creative studies who mostly use qualitative methods in their research. Yet is there a need for systematic statistical data analysis skills in the scope of their study? Therefore, to answer this question, this study examines the need for data analysis skills among creative arts students. A total of 102 sets of questionnaires were distributed to undergraduate students from various programs of the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts UNIMAS. Descriptive analysis was used to analyze the questionnaire data using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 26.0. Overall finding showed that statistical data analysis skills are very necessary among creative arts students

Knowledge of data analysis skills is an important knowledge for every student, especially for those who conduct research scientifically. However, is there a need for systematic statistical data analysis skills in the scope of their study among creative arts students? Therefore, this study examines the need for quantitative data analysis skills among creative arts students in the perspective of Alumni, Academician and Industry. This study interviewed 12 alumni, 13 academicians and 10 representatives from the Creative Arts Industry to analyse their perspective. Qualitative analysis method is used to analyze the results of interviews with former students, academicians and the industry. As result, all sample of informants interviewed agreed that Creative Arts Students need data analysis skill using quantitative method
