New records of Dacrymyces ovisporus and Tremella diaporthicola from the Ukraine

Comparing Etymological Characteristics of Plant Naming in Yakut, Even, and Evenk Languages
This article considers issues of language contacts between Yakut, Even, and Evenk people through an analysis of plant vocabulary. We define etymological characteristics of fixed lexical units that denote plant names and present results of a comparative analysis of plant naming in these three languages, with emphasis on lexical parallels and structural types in designating plant names. To our knowledge, this is the first research to undertake a comparative study of plant naming in the Yakut and Tungusic languages (Even and Evenk) with consideration of the methods of their formation. The study is highly relevant because of the unique contribution of plant-world vocabulary in helping to clarify peculiarities of native speakers’ natural environments. Our results show that, based on lexical units with stable semantic meaning, the Evenk language is in the closest position vis-à-vis Yakut. There are 16 names in Yakut of plants and four of common names of herbs that grow on the territory of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and have borrowed names in Evenk and Even. Twenty-eight names have lexical parallels in Evenk (including variations) and two in Even.Cet article se penche sur la question des contacts linguistiques entre les Yakoutes, les Évènes et les Evenkis au moyen de l’analyse du vocabulaire des plantes. Nous définissons les caractéristiques étymologiques d’unités lexicales fixes dénotant les noms de plantes et présentons les résultats de l’analyse comparative de la nomenclature de plantes dans ces trois langues, en mettant l’accent sur les parallèles lexicaux et les types structuraux de la désignation des noms de plantes. À notre connaissance, il s’agit de la première recherche à entreprendre l’étude comparative de la nomenclature botanique en langues yakoute et toungouse (évène et evenki) tout en tenant compte de leurs méthodes de formation. Cette étude est d’une grande pertinence, car l’apport unique du vocabulaire des plantes aide à expliquer les particularités des milieux naturels des locuteurs natifs. Selon nos résultats, fondés sur les unités lexicales dotées de significations sémantiques stables, l’evenki est la langue la plus proche du yakoute. En yakoute, il y a 16 noms de plantes et quatre noms communs d’herbes dans le territoire de la république de Sakha (Yakoutie) dont les noms ont été empruntés à l’evenki et à l’évène. The nexus of soil radon and hydrogen dynamics and seismicity of the northern flank of the Kuril-Kamchatka subduction zone
The comparison of kinematics and dynamic parameters of radon and molecular hydrogen concentration in subsoil
air on the stations network at the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky geodynamic proving ground with seismicity
of the northern flank of the Kuril-Kamchatka subduction zone was fulfilled in the period from July till August
2004. On the basis of correlation analysis of the regional seismicity and variations of radon flux density calculated
using the data of gas-discharge counters of STS-6 type and SSNTDs it was shown that the radon mass
transfer abnormal variations are conditioned by both regional seismicity in total and the subduction zone of proving
ground. The azimuths of «geodeformation waves» coming to the registration points are calculated during
clearly expressed anomaly beginnings, which coincide with directions to earthquake epicenters taking place at
the same time. The geochemical anomalies recorded are presumptively deformative by nature and can be conditioned
by processes of «quasi-viscous» flow of the lithosphere during rearrangement of tectonic stress fields of
the subduction zone. The short-term (predicted time Τ <14 days) precursor of the earthquakes swarm was revealed
in hydrogen dynamics on August, 4-5 (four earthquakes had M≥5.3 and epicentral distance about 130 km
from the Paratunka base station)
Design of Pre-Dumping Ring Spin Rotator with a Possibility of Helicity Switching for Polarized Positrons at the ILC
The use of polarized beams enhance the possibility of the precision
measurements at the International Linear Collider (ILC). In order to preserve
the degree of polarization during beam transport spin rotators are included in
the current TDR ILC Lattice. In this report some advantages of using a combined
spin rotator/spin flipper are discussed. A few possible lattice designs of spin

Revision of Cerinomyces (Dacrymycetes, Basidiomycota) with notes on morphologically and historically related taxa
Publisher Copyright: © 2021 The AuthorsCerinomyces (Dacrymycetes, Basidiomycota) is a genus traditionally defined by corticioid basidiocarps, in contrast to the rest of the class, which is characterized by gelatinous ones. In the traditional circumscription the genus is polyphyletic, and the monotypic family Cerinomycetaceae is paraphyletic. Aiming for a more concise delimitation, we revise Cerinomyces s.l. with a novel phylogeny based on sequences of nrDNA (SSU, ITS, LSU) and protein-coding genes (RPB1, RPB2, TEF1-α). We establish that monophyletic Cerinomyces s.s. is best characterized not by the corticioid morphology, but by a combination of traits: hyphal clamps, predominantly aseptate thin-walled basidiospores, and low content of carotenoid pigments. In our updated definition, Cerinomyces s.s. encompasses five well-supported phylogenetic clades divided into two morphological groups: (i-iii) taxa with arid corticioid basidiocarps, including the generic type C. pallidus; and (iv-v) newly introduced members with gelatinous basidiocarps, like Dacrymyces enatus and D. tortus. The remaining corticioid species of Cerinomyces s.l. are morphologically distinct and belong to the Dacrymycetaceae: our analysis places the carotenoid-rich Cerinomyces canadensis close to Femsjonia, and we transfer the clamps-lacking C. grandinioides group to Dacrymyces. In addition, we address genera related to Cerinomyces s.l. historically and morphologically, such as Ceracea, Dacryonaema and Unilacryma. Overall, we describe twenty-four new species and propose nine new combinations in both Cerinomycetaceae and Dacrymycetaceae.Peer reviewe
«Привлечённый библиотекарь» (embedded librarian): литературный обзор
The article is based on the methodology of selecting publications for reviewing proposed earlier (see Scientific and Technical Journal. 2022. No. 11. Р. 56–82). This methodology enables to systematize the process of publication selection with the results cited in the protocol. The “embedded librarianship” concept definition is based on the activity component. Three subject vectors are high-lighted in visualization of the study subject scope, namely, librarians in medical environment, librarians in education, and librarians involved in scientific research. The conventional embedded librarian’s profile is formulated, with the professional functionality described and environment characterized. The specialist’s basic competences are information literacy and client orientation. Being complemented with unique competences, the basic skills enable the embedded librarians to transfer from the status of resource-users agent to that of research group full-fledged participant. The author suggests her adapted translations of the concept names.“Embedded librarianship” has substantial potential within the framework of scientific research information support in the form of reviews, which explains why the reviews are seen as an informative source, in particular for the librarians developing library programs with “embedded” information services. The concept may be used for organizing services in research and academic libraries.Представленная статья написана с применением предложенной ранее методики подбора публикаций для обзоров (см. «Научные и технические библиотеки». 2022. № 11. С. 56–82) Методологический подход позволил систематизировать процесс отбора публикаций, результаты которого приведены в протоколе. Описание концептуальных основ «embedded librarianship» сфокусировано на деятельностной компоненте. При визуализации исследовательского поля выделилось три главных тематических направления: библиотекарь в медицинской среде; библиотекарь, участвующий в образовательном процессе; библиотекарь, привлечённый к научным исследованиям. Полученный материал позволил сформировать условный профиль библиотекаря, практикующего «embedded», с описанием его функционала и учётом особенностей среды. Базовыми компетенциями такого специалиста являются информационная грамотность и клиентоориентированность. Дополнение базовых компетенций уникальными позволяют «embedded» библиотекарю уверенно переходить от статуса посредника между ресурсами и пользователями к статусу полноценного участника исследовательской группы. В статье предложен авторский адаптированный перевод названия концепций.«Embedded librarianship» обладает заметным потенциалом для реализации в рамках информационного сопровождения научных исследований, связанных с подготовкой обзорных материалов. Поэтому обзор представляется информативным в первую очередь для библиотекарей, разрабатывающих библиотечные программы с использованием «embedded» информационных услуг. FOXP3, IL2R, CD8A and RORγ gene expression in peripheral blood leukocytes of healthy people and patients with arterial hypertension
Impaired balance of T regulatory and T effector lymphocytes has recently been considered as an important pathogenetic link in arterial hypertension (AH). There are, however, contradictory literature data about contents of these cells in the patients with hypertension, or obtained in experimental animal models of induced hypertension. Most results about changed patterns of immune cells in cardiovascular diseases were obtained by means of flow cytometry. There are also some works on expression of genes encoding surface and cytoplasmic differentiation antigens of immune cells in the patients with cardiovascular pathologies. These results coincide with the data obtained with flow cytometric techniques. Purpose of the present study was to analyze of the levels of gene transcripts encoding differentiation markers of regulatory (FOXP3, IL2R) T cells, effector T subpopulations (T helpers 17 (RORγ), and CD8 lymphocytes (CD8A) in healthy subjects and the patients with arterial hypertension (stages I-II). We examined healthy individuals (40 people, 20 men and 20 women), 27 patients with hypertension who did not receive antihypertensive therapy (14 men and 13 women), 26 hypertensive patients taking β-adrenergic receptor blockers (metoprolol or bisoprolol), including 12 men and 14 women. The relative levels of transcripts in peripheral blood leukocytes were assessed by real-time RT-PCR. It was shown that the transcriptional activity of FOXP3, IL2R, RORγ, and CD8A genes in peripheral blood leukocytes of the diseased people was significantly higher than in healthy individuals (p < 0.01). This finding may indicate an increased number of circulating T regulatory lymphocytes, CD8+ cells and T helpers 17 in hypertensive patients, and activation of T cell immunity in these patients. There were no statistically significant gender differences in FOXP3, IL2R, RORγ and CD8A gene expression in leukocytes, both in the group of healthy people and in hypertensive patients. The patients receiving cardioselective β-adrenergic receptor blockers (metoprolol and bisoprolol) exhibited lower expression of these genes, thus, probably, indicating antiinflammatory and immunomodulatory properties of these drugs
Grain-structure development in heavily cold-rolled alpha-titanium
High-resolution electron back-scatter diffraction (EBSD) analysis was employed to establish mircostructure evolution in heavily cold-rolled alpha-titanium. After thickness reductions of 75% to 96%, significant microstructure and texture changes were documented. The surface area of high-angle grain boundaries was almost tripled, thus giving rise to an ultra-fine microstructure with a mean grain size of 0.6 μm. Moreover, orientation spread around typical ‘split-basal’ rolling texture substantially increased. These effects were suggested to be related to the enhancement of pyramidal 〈c+a〉 slip. Experimental determination of the adhesive characteristics of the “elementary fiber-epoxy matrix” system
The paper considers the method of testing the elementary fiber-polymer matrix system. Results of determining the following adhesive characteristics are provided: apparent and local adhesive strength, start and end in the adhesive destruction of the fiber-matrix joint under study. Basalt fiber and epoxy matrix based on the epoxy resin and amine hardener are considered as the study objects. Influence of the samples geometric characteristics on their adhesive characteristics is established. The paper shows that at the depth of the elementary fiber emersion in the polymer matrix equal to 200 µm, the scatter of all determined adhesive characteristics is significantly reduced
