    A behavior of magnetic fluid drop with compound magnetic core in a wedge-shaped channel was studied experimentally. The study examines influence of magnetic fluid properties, its volume and magnetic field on statics of the system compound magnet – magnetic fluid drop in wedge-shaped channel.     Elastic properties of a magnetic fluid drop with a compound source of magnetic field in a wedge-shaped channel with regard to vibroprotective devices are examined experimentally. A possibility to alter an elastic force and a position of such drop by means of electromagnetic field has been shown. Obtained data allowed to calculate elastic coefficients of the observed system.
