The process of heating the billets of rolling mills from cast iron in gas heating ovens (both in covalent and casting floors) has clear requirements for temperature heating regimes. Compliance with the requirements of technology is possible with the use of automatic control devices. Programmable logic controllers are commonly used as a temperature control device. Correct operation of automation is possible because of a definite model of the heating process dynamics

Scientometrics: A Tool for Monitoring and Support of Research

The origins of scientometrics (research metrics) are discussed. The approaches to research evaluation are reviewed, and the tendency to replacing formal quantitative indicators by expert review based on bibliometric indicators is emphasized. The principles of “Leiden Manifesto of Scientometrics” are set out, providing for transparent monitoring and support of research and encouraging constructive dialog between the scientific community and the public. The methodological framework and the peculiarities of implementation of the information and analytical system “Bibliometryka Ukrayinskoyi Nauky” (“Bibliometrics of the Ukrainian Science”), constructed by the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, are shown. The proposals on creating advisory councils, responsible for formulating conclusions on the research effectiveness of institutions, are given. The feasibility of building a common platform for expert evaluation of research for the Eastern Partnership Countries by launching similar bibliometric projects in these countries and their further convergence is considered.Досліджено витоки наукометрії. Розглянуто підходи до оцінювання результативності наукової діяльності та відмічено тенденцію переходу від формальних кількісних індикаторів до отримання експертного висновку на основі бібліометричних показників. Викладено принципи Лейденського маніфесту наукометрії, дотримання яких забезпечує прозорий моніторинг і підтримку розвитку науки, а також сприяє налагодженню конструктивного діалогу між науковим середовищем та суспільством. Показано концептуальні положення і особливості практичної реалізації інформаційно-аналітичної системи «Бібліометрика української науки», розробленої в Національній бібліотеці України імені В. І. Вернадського. Розглянуто пропозиції щодо формування експертних рад, які ухвалюватимуть висновки про ефективність наукової діяльності установ. Обґрунтовано доцільність побудови загальної платформи для експертного оцінювання наукових досліджень країн Східного партнерства шляхом ініціювання аналогічних бібліометричних проектів у цих країнах та їх подальшої конвергенції.Исследованы истоки наукометрии. Рассмотрены подходы к оцениванию результативности научной деятельности и отмечена тенденция перехода от формальных количественных индикаторов к получению экспертного вывода на основе библиометрических показателей. Изложены принципы Лейденского манифеста наукометрии, соблюдение которых обеспечивает прозрачный мониторинг и поддержку развития науки, а также способствует налаживанию конструктивного диалога между научной средой и обществом. Представлены концептуальные положения и особенности практической реализации информационно-аналитической системы «Библиометрика украинской науки», разработанной в Национальной библиотеке Украины имени В. И. Вернадского. Рассмотрены предложения по формированию экспертных советов, которые будут принимать заключения об эффективности научной деятельности учреждений. Обоснована целесообразность построения общей платформы для экспертного оценивания научных исследований стран Восточного партнерства путем инициирования аналогичных библиометрических проектов в этих странах и их последующей конвергенции

Составление расписания для графов синхронных потоков данных

Розглянуто задачу складання розкладу для алгоритму, який заданий графом синхронних потоків даних (ГСПД). Запропоновано метод складання періодичного розкладу ГСПД з періодом L тактів, оснований на перетворенні його у просторовий ГСПД, вершини якого мають координати місця та моменту виконання відповідних операторів алгоритму. На координати просторового ГСПД накладено обмеження: оператори, які виконуються в одному процесорному елементі, не повинні мати однакові такти свого виконання, які взято за модулем L. Завдяки цьому ГСПД відображається у спеціалізований обчислювач, який виконує алгоритм у конвеєрному режимі з оптимізованою завантаженністю ресурсів. Показано алгоритм пошуку субоптимального розкладу на основі просторового ГСПД.The scheduling problem for the synchronous dataflow graph (SDF) is considered. A method of the SDF scheduling is proposed which is based on transforming SDF into spatial SDF. The circular schedule has the period of L cycles. Each spatial SDF node has the coordinates of space and time of an event, where and when the respective algorithm steps were performed. A set of restrictions, which the SDF nodes have, helps to derive the circular schedule with the optimum load balancing. So, the nodes, which are mapped into a single resource, must not have the same clock cycles modulo L, and the number of such nodes has to approach L. The resulting schedule is implemented in the pipelined datapath. The algorithm for computing the suboptimal schedule is proposed based on the spatial SDF.Рассмотрена задача составления расписания для алгоритма, заданного графом синхронных потоков данных (ГСПД). Предложен метод составления расписания ГСПД с периодом L тактов, основанный на преобразовании его в пространственный ГСПД, вершины которого имеют координаты места и момента выполнения соответствующих операторов алгоритма. На координаты пространственного ГСПД наложены ограничения: операторы, исполняемые в дном процессорном элементе, не должны иметь одинаковые такты своего исполнения, взятые по модулю L. Благодаря этому ГСПД отображается в специализированный вычислитель, исполняющий алгоритм в конвейерном режиме с оптимизированной загруженностью ресурсов. Показан алгоритм поиска субоптимального расписания на основе пространственного ГСПД

CHINESE NARRATIVE SONG: STRUCTURE, LANGUAGE AND HISTORICAL DYNAMICS

The purpose of this paper is to examine the cultural and linguistic features of Chinese narrative songs of the 20th - early 21st centuries. They are explored through the theoretical frameworks and research instruments of narratology, cultural anthropology and linguistics (M. Bakhtin, R. Barthes, G. Genette, V. Propp, T. Todorov, etc.). The paper highlights the most important changes of narrative songs determined by historical events in China during the period under investigation: a) dynamics of themes, plots and attitudes towards related events - from ideological praise of the Communist party and Chair-man Mao - to a more personalized narration about people’s life and love in a globalized world; b) evo-lution of characters from selfless fighters for communism with clearly defined social identity - to general-ized lyrical personalities motivated by love, suffering, kinship and loyalty to their country; c) growth of genre variability due to the relaxation of ideological pressure and the influence of Western musical culture; d) return to the values of ancient Chinese culture and restoration of traditional national identity, implemented in background knowledge, binary oppositions and intertextual connections; e) new forms of linguistic expression.The findings indicate that the algorithm of text analysis developed in the course of the research may be used to investigate other types of Chinese narratives, as well as narratives from other cultures
