Occupational accident has been a big problem for most of industry in the developing countries. This research aimed to know the condition of occupational risk level at PT. P&P Lembah Karet Padang. This research was conducted in the sections that have large number of occupational accident and repeatedly occured. The primary data were obtained from observations, while secondary data were obtained from the archive of the factory. The analysis method was Job Safety analysis ( JSA) which consisted of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control recommendation. The result of this research was presented in figures and tables which described that there were still high risk in Timbang Section, Gilingan Section and Press section, shown by red color code. There were still some medium and low risk too, shown by yellow and green color code. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there were still high risk and medium risk in some sections of PT. P&P Lembah Karet Padang, that could not been controlled yet, which caused occupational accident that occurred time aftertime. It is suggested to the factory to apply the recommended risk contol in order to decrease or remove the same occupational accidents that may happens in the future. Although colonoscopy is the most effective method for colorectal cancer detection, it suffers from important visualization restrictions that limit its performance. We recently reported that the contrast between healthy mucosa and cancer was 30%-100% for the relative permittivity and conductivity, respectively, at 8 GHz, and the complex permittivity increased proportionally to the degeneration rate of polyps (cancer precursors). The applicator is designed as a compact cylindrical array of eight antennas attached at the tip of a conventional colonoscope. The design presented here is a proof-of-concept applicator composed by one transmitting and one receiving cavity-backed U-shaped slot antenna elements fed by an L-shaped microstrip line. The antennas are low profile and present a high isolation at 8 GHz. The antenna performance is assessed with simulations and experimentally with a phantom composed by different liquids.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

In this Article, a novel quadruple-band microstrip patch antenna is proposed for the systems operating at quad-band applications. The antenna structure is composed of modified rectangular patch antenna with a U-shaped defected ground structure (DGS) unit and two parasitic elements (open-loop-ring resonators) to serve as a coupling-bridge. The proposed antenna with a total size of 31×33 mm2 is fabricated and tested. The measured result indicates that the designed antenna has impedance bandwidths for 10 dB return loss reach about 180 MHz (4.4–4.58 GHz), 200 MHz (5.4–5.6 GHz), 1100 MHz (7.2–8.3 GHz), and 700 MHz (9.6–10.3 GHz), which meet the requirements of the wireless local area network (WLAN), worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX), C and X bands applications. Good agreement is obtained between measurement and simulation results

An overview of the approaches for automotive safety integrity levels allocation

YesISO 26262, titled Road Vehicles–Functional Safety, is the new automotive functional safety standard for passenger vehicle industry. In order to accomplish the goal of designing and developing dependable automotive systems, ISO 26262 uses the concept of Automotive Safety Integrity Levels (ASILs), the adaptation of Safety Integrity Levels. ASILs are allocated to the components and subsystems that can cause system failure and malfunctions that lead to hazards. ASILs allocation is a hard problem consists of finding the optimal allocation of safety levels to the system architecture which must guarantee that the highest safety requirements are met while development cost of the automotive system is kept minimum. There were many successful attempts to solve this problem using different techniques. However, it is worth pointing out that there is an absence of a review that provides an in-depth study of all the existing methods and highlights their merits and demerits. This paper presents an overview of different approaches that were used to solve ASILs allocation problem. The review provides an overview of safety requirements including the related standards followed by a study of the resolution methods of the existing approaches. The study of each approach provides a detailed explanation of the used methodology and a discussion of its strength and weaknesses including the main open challenges

This research aims to show the implications of bankruptcy in insurance companies, both in the form of material implications for disadvantaged customers and in the form of national financial instability The existence of an insurance company is intended to minimize the risk posed to policyholders, but insolvency in insurance can occur. The research method used is normative juridical with reinforcement on empirical data, analyzed by qualitative normative methods The results of the study show first, insurance bankruptcy provisions are submitted by the Republic of Indonesia's finance ministry as a preventive measure for community loss of policyholders, secondly, the implications of bankruptcy on insurance companies can occur in the form of material losses to policyholders that must be replaced by insurance companies and the implications of loss of customer confidence insurance if the bankruptcy process is not completed properly
