Background and Aim: Diagnosis of foreign body impaction in ruminant is still of interest in most clinical studies. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate this condition using B-mode ultrasonography in addition to evaluation of clinical, hemato-biochemical and ruminal parameters in healthy and affected goats. Materials and Methods: Fifteen clinically normal goats and 15 goats with foreign body impaction were recruited in Menia El-Kamh abattoir. All animals were selected only when revealed negative for internal and external parasite. Thorough clinical, ultrasonographic examination and blood analysis were applied before slaughtering. Meanwhile, ruminal fluid and necropsy findings were assessed after slaughtering. Results: The prominent clinical signs in diseased group were inappetence, dullness, emaciation, weakness, scanty hard feces and tympany. Ultrasonographic examination of diseased goats revealed the presence of foreign body at left 11th-12th ICS. Foreign body in rumen appeared as hyperechoic band with acoustic shadowing. Significant reduction in ruminal wall thickness and biphasic reticular motility along with significant increase in monophasic reticular contraction and relaxation period were recorded in diseased goats when compared with control one. The erythrocytes count, hemoglobin content, hematocrit percent and albumin were significantly decreased in diseased goats when compared with healthy one. Moreover, ruminal fluid analysis of affected goats revealed significant decrease in ruminal pH and prolonged Methylene blue reduction time. Conclusions: Findings indicated that B-mode ultrasonography is a relatively simple and objective method for diagnosis of foreign body impaction in goats

The study aimed to identify the level of organizational performance in ceramic companies in the Tenth of Ramadan City, where the researchers used the descriptive analytical method, through a questionnaire distributed. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: the presence of a clear consensus of the study sample from the members of the senior management that all dimensions of the balanced scorecard variable are largely present in the ceramic companies under study, and the results showed the approval of the study sample of workers in an average way on the application of the financial dimension and that it is applied Well, the approval of the study sample of the employees in an average way that tends to decline on the degree of application of the customer dimension and that it is applied by the senior management in an inappropriate way, the approval of the study sample of the employees in a large way on the degree of application of the internal operations dimension and that it is applied by the senior management in a large and appropriate way, approval The study sample of workers applying the learning and growth dimension is moderately low and it is applied inappropriately by the senior management. The study presented a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: working on clarifying and translating the vision and strategy of the institution, working on clarifying the strategy and linking it to the goals, planning and setting goals and arranging strategic initiatives, promoting strategic feedback

The study aimed to examine the effects of augmented reality technology on the development of origami-style pattern designing skills among female students in the clothing and textile field, as well as to explore their attitudes towards this technology. The quasi-experimental approach was employed to achieve the research objectives, with a sample of 24 female students from the Fourth Grade of the Department of Clothing and Textile, Faculty of Home Economics at Al-Azhar University. The participants were divided into two groups: a control group of 12 students who studied in the traditional way, and an experimental group of 12 students who used augmented reality technology to learn. The study was conducted in the second semester of the academic year 2020/2021. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference (at a significance level of 0.01) between the average scores of the control group and the experimental group in both cognitive achievement and skill performance, with the experimental group performing better. Additionally, the retention of learned information was higher among the experimental group, and they had a more positive attitude towards using augmented reality technology in learning

Auto-segmentation of primary tumors in oropharyngeal cancer using PET/CT images is an unmet need that has the potential to improve radiation oncology workflows. In this study, we develop a series of deep learning models based on a 3D Residual Unet (ResUnet) architecture that can segment oropharyngeal tumors with high performance as demonstrated through internal and external validation of large-scale datasets (training size = 224 patients, testing size = 101 patients) as part of the 2021 HECKTOR Challenge. Specifically, we leverage ResUNet models with either 256 or 512 bottleneck layer channels that demonstrate internal validation (10-fold cross-validation) mean Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) up to 0.771 and median 95% Hausdorff distance (95% HD) as low as 2.919 mm. We employ label fusion ensemble approaches, including Simultaneous Truth and Performance Level Estimation (STAPLE) and a voxel-level threshold approach based on majority voting (AVERAGE), to generate consensus segmentations on the test data by combining the segmentations produced through different trained cross-validation models. We demonstrate that our best performing ensembling approach (256 channels AVERAGE) achieves a mean DSC of 0.770 and median 95% HD of 3.143 mm through independent external validation on the test set. Our DSC and 95% HD test results are within 0.01 and 0.06 mm of the top ranked model in the competition, respectively. Concordance of internal and external validation results suggests our models are robust and can generalize well to unseen PET/CT data. We advocate that ResUNet models coupled to label fusion ensembling approaches are promising candidates for PET/CT oropharyngeal primary tumors auto-segmentation. Future investigations should target the ideal combination of channel combinations and label fusion strategies to maximize segmentation performance.</p

The process of preparing patterns is considered one of the most accurate and important jobs on which the ready-made garment industry relies, as the success of the design and production depends entirely on it. Children’s patterns are among the most important types of patterns, whose control and method of construction affects the comfort of the child, which calls on researchers to continuously develop ways to build these patterns. It is characterized by exactness and ease of construction and learning, and after many studies have proven the effectiveness of electronic educational and training programs with appropriate education strategies in learning to prepare patterns. The pattern, and the use of Keelers strategy to master his learning, and the research followed the descriptive approach, and the applied approach. The child achieves excellent control over the body for all sizes, according to the opinions of the arbitrators, where The value of the quality coefficient for adjusting sizes ranged between (94.13) to (95.07), which represents a high degree of acceptance (excellent), and the value of the quality coefficient for adjusting (front, side, back, sleeve) for different sizes ranged between (93.94) to (94.74), which represents A high degree of acceptance (excellent), and the evaluation of the proposed program achieved an excellent evaluation according to the opinions, achieving the arithmetic mean (4.93), and the relative weight (98.67). Finally, the training program achieved a significant impact on the level of knowledge and skill achievement of the trainees

Heat and drought stresses are the most important abiotic factors that reduce crops productivity by affecting various physiological and biochemical processes. Thus, selecting cultivars with better drought or heat stress tolerance or breeding for stress tolerance will be helpful in enhancing crop productivity under harsh environments. This review elaborates the physiological basis of high temperature and drought stress tolerance in wheat which can be used as selection criteria in wheat breeding program. In addition, some agronomic selection criteria which are valid and useful in selecting stress tolerant wheat species and cultivars. The review also discussed the valid usage of stress tolerance indices (such as mean productivity (MP), geometric mean productivity (GMP), yield index (YI), yield stability index (YSI), relative productivity (RP%), stress susceptibility index (SSI), and the tolerance index (TOL)) to scan the genotypes against drought and heat stress. Beside these, exogenous application of stress signaling compounds, osmolytes, or certain inorganic salts play a vital role for alleviating adverse effects of abiotic stresses for sustainable wheat production. In addition, applications for soil amendments will also helpful in increasing wheat crop productivity under stressful conditions. All these strategies may be helpful to meet the food demands of the increasing population.Fil: El Sabagh, A.. University of Kafrelsheikh; EgiptoFil: Hossain, A..
