In the article, pulsating fluid flows in tubes with changing walls, which are of great importance in biological mechanics, in particular, in the flow of blood in the arterial vessel, are investigated. The solution of the problem obtained formulas for the distribution of pressure gradient, velocity and flow rate. Impedance method analyzed the increase in hydraulic resistance depending on the frequency of oscillation. It was found that with large values 2 of hydraulic resistance grow with growth 2 . For crowding out the same flow rates, for small and with large values of the vibrational number or frequency, the energy input is different. Since for small values of the oscillatory number, fluctuations in the flow rate of the fluid fluctuate in the same phase with the oscillation of the pressure gradient, and for large values of this number, the oscillation of the phase of the fluid flow is shifted by 0 90 degrees ELECTRONIC JOURNAL OF CENTRAL ASIAN PROBLEMS OF MODERN SCENCE AND EDUCATION. MARCH, 2019-I ISSN 2181-9750 11 than fluctuations in the pressure gradient. In addition, for large values of the vibrational number, a tenfold size increases the maximum amplitude of the pressure gradient, relatively, than at low frequencies. This feature leads to an increase in the energy cost of pumping fluid due to wall oscillatio

The organism of chicken infected with individual pathogens exhibits relatively simple patho-anatomical modifications in the presence of two or three separate bacterial pathogens. Because it is highly challenging to differentiate between mixed bacterial infections based just on clinical symptoms, pathologoanatomical examination and distinction are preferred. These disorders will be accurately diagnosed promptly and without delay if the pathologo-anatomical investigations are properly examined, and preventive measures will be consistently applied

Mathematical model describing erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Implications for blood viscosity changes in traumatic shock and crush syndrome

BACKGROUND: The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) is a simple and inexpensive laboratory test, which is widespread in clinical practice, for assessing the inflammatory or acute response. This work addresses the theoretical and experimental investigation of sedimentation a single and multiple particles in homogeneous and heterogeneous (multiphase) medium, as it relates to their internal structure (aggregation of solid or deformed particles). METHODS: The equation system has been solved numerically. To choose finite analogs of derivatives we used the schemes of directional differences. RESULTS: (1) Our model takes into account the influence of the vessel wall on group aggregation of particles in tubes as well as the effects of rotation of particles, the constraint coefficient, and viscosity of a mixture as a function of the volume fraction. (2) This model can describe ESR as a function of the velocity of adhesion of erythrocytes; (3) Determination of the ESR is best conducted at certain time intervals, i.e. in a series of periods not exceeding 5 minutes each; (4) Differential diagnosis of various diseases by means of ESR should be performed using the aforementioned timed measurement of ESR; (5) An increase in blood viscosity during trauma results from an increase in rouleaux formation and the time-course method of ESR will be useful in patients with trauma, in particular, with traumatic shock and crush syndrome. CONCLUSION: The mathematical model created in this study used the most fundamental differential equations that have ever been derived to estimate ESR. It may further our understanding of its complex mechanism

Introduction. In patients with drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), surgical treatment is aimed to resect an epileptogenic zone (EZ) followed by seizure control. Despite complicated EZ location, surgical resection should be considered as a treatment of choice in bilateral TLE. Objective: to evaluate surgical outcomes and factors contributing to outcomes in patients with drug-resistant bilateral TLE confirmed via magnetic resonance imaging. Materials and methods. The study included patients with unilateral (n = 50) and bilateral (n = 50) temporal lobe involvement. The results of surgical treatment were evaluated according to the classification of J. Engel (1993). Results. Favorable outcomes of surgical treatment (Engel I and Engel II) in the group with unilateral temporal lobe involvement were found in 98% of patients after 12 months, in 88% after 24 months, and in 100% after 48 and 60 months after surgery. In the group with bilateral temporal lobe involvement outcomes of surgical treatment were favorable in 41% of patients after 12 months, in 50% after 24 months, in 39% after 48 months, and in 50% of patients after 60 months post-surgery. Conclusion. Early onset, burdened perinatal history, and MRI-confirmed left temporal lobe involvement contribute to the poor outcome (Engel III and Engel IV) in the bilateral TLE group. Engel I outcomes were more common in the patients with unilateral TLE while Engel IIIV outcomes were more common in the patients with bilateral TLE

Objective: epidemiological evaluation of global trends in colorectal cancer and assessment of colon cancer incidence in the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2012–2017.Materials and methods. We used GLOBOCAN data to analyze the situation with colorectal cancer worldwide. We also assessed the incidence of colon cancer, trends, and mean age of patients (by years) registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan. This article emphasizes the need for epidemiological studies of colorectal cancer in Uzbekistan.Results. World trends in colorectal cancer incidence and mortality indicate that these parameters vary across different regions and depend on the economic situation. There are also some sex differences: men are more likely to develop colorectal cancer than women (male to female ratio 1.25:1.0). The number of patient died of colorectal cancer is growing; the male to female ratio is 1.22:1.0.Conclusions. Our assessment of epidemiological situation of colon cancer in the Republic of Uzbekistan demonstrated that its incidence tends to increase, which necessitates further research evaluating regional differences and risk factors for colorectal cancer

The organism of chicken infected with individual pathogens exhibits relatively simple pathoanatomical modifications in the presence of two or three separate bacterial pathogens. It is advised to examine these disorders pathologically because it might be quite challenging to separate these diseases from one another based just on clinical symptoms. Bacteriological infections in poultry have extremely complicated clinical symptoms and pathomorphological modifications that set them apart from other illnesses. However, if the pathologoanatomical investigations are thoroughly examined, the diseases will be accurately detected in time, making it feasible to start preventing them right away
