Breakthrough in Combating Yellow Rust Boosts Wheat Yield and Quality

    Get PDF
This article presents modern methods of combating yellow rust disease, emphasizing research at the Southern Agricultural Research Institute. The most effective, inexpensive, and environmentally safe method to combat agricultural diseases is planting resistant, high-yielding, and high-quality grain varieties. Studying the virulence structure of rust diseases is crucial for grain production, as identifying and using effective resistance genes based on laboratory analyses can significantly combat rust diseases in grain crops. The research involved virulence testing of differentiating cultivars with specific genes, using a combination of global and European varieties, and optimal rust development techniques, including nitrogenous Norus fertilizer and Soltrol 170 for inoculation. The evaluation followed the 0-4 scale by C. Wellings et al. (1986). Marker-assisted selection (MAS) identified new breeding materials resistant to yellow rust, leading to new soft wheat varieties that can increase irrigated field productivity by 10-15 t/ha, addressing the demand for high-quality grain products

A Psychoanalitical Approach in Studying The Phenomenon of Rebellion in Divergent Novel by Veronica Roth

    Get PDF
The aim of the article is to show the rebellion of Tris, the protagonist of the novel Divergent by Veronica Roth. The object of the study is to analyze the novel based on the psychoanalytic approach, which considers the id, ego and superego of Tris. The results of the study lead to the following conclusions. First, the structural analysis shows that the character and characterization, setting, plot, style, and theme of the novel are connected as a whole. Secondly, based on the psychoanalytical analysis, the novel shows that the main character Tris has psychological problems. The main character’s psychological problem causes a conflict of her mental state. It then develops into her ambition and turns into a rebellion against the Erudite faction. Her ambition is directed against the Erudite opinion that “Divergent” is dangerous

Artificial Intelligence in the Process of Simultaneous Translation

    Get PDF
Artificial intelligence, like translators, has the ability to quickly translate communication from one language to another at the same time. Until recently, it was considered just a fantasy. But today we can see that any person standing in different corner of the world can talk to people of other nationalities as if they were talking in their mother tongue. This is done on the basis of ordinary headphones, with the help of artificial intelligence. In many conferences, simultaneous interpretation is also done on the basis of artificial intelligence. When a speaker is speaking in one language, the listener is able to hear him in his own national language with the help of an artificial translation service. Despite the many advantages of using this type of computerized translation service in the simultaneous translation process, there are also some misunderstandings in the translation process

Outdated (Forgotten or Semi-Forgotten) Phraseology in the Vocabulary of Modern Russian

    Get PDF
In this article we will talk about obsolete units of the phraseological fund of the Russian language, including the vocabulary of phraseological expressions that have passed into the passive reserve of the language. Structural features of stable combinations are examined, the component characteristic of phraseology is given, in particular FE with outdated grammatical forms in its composition. Possible reasons for their withdrawal from active use are also given. The cases of return of phraseologisms into an asset of language and change of their semantic and functional qualities are considered

Issues of Using Phraseologisms in Italian Language Teaching: a Linguoculturological and Linguodidactic Study

    Get PDF
Phraseological units are considered a product of folk art. As an important branch of linguistics, the main focus of phraseology is on the study of the nature of phraseologies and their categorical signs, as well as on determining the laws of the use of phraseologies in speech. The most important problem of phraseology is to differentiate and distinguish phraseologisms from word combinations that are formed in speech (that is, not ready in advance) and to determine the signs of phraseologies on this basis

    Circular RNAs in Tumor Therapy

    Get PDF
Contrary to the common belief that circRNAs are "mistakes" in RNA splicing, mammalian cells really contain a large number of highly conserved circRNAs. CircRNAs may produce miRNA inhibitors that are stable and potent. Nevertheless, many questions regarding the role of circRNAs remain to be resolved. First off, circular RNAs have the same ability to stop the spread of cancer as long noncoding RNAs. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a subclass of non-coding RNAs that lack poly (A) tails on either the 3′or 5′ends. Over 100,000 genes are known to encode circRNAs. Clinical data indicates that circRNAs, which exhibit variable expression in several disorders, including cancer, may serve a regulatory role in some conditions and diseases. Recent studies demonstrate that As an endogenous competitive RNA, circRNA can control the invasion, growth, and other physiological functions of tumor cells. Additionally, some circRNAs located in the nucleus can regulate the translation of the parent gene by binding to RNA polymerase II

Implementation of the Family Care Model for Elderly Healthy

    Get PDF
The elderly population throughout the world continues to increase every year. This makes the aging process an important social and welfare challenge for the health of older people. The health and welfare of older people cannot be separated from the support system provided by the family. The family is very important in caring for elderly people living at home. The objective of this article is to determine the effect of implementing the family care model on the health of older people. This research used a pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 158 elderly people living with families, both nuclear families and extended families. The measuring instruments used in this research were a sphygmomanometer to measure the physical health of older people and the Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE) for the mental health of the elderly, which was then analyzed using the paired t-test. The results of the study showed that the physical health of older people, the mean (SD) value for pre-post systolic blood pressure was 158.1 (14,461) - 144.56 (11,816), and for pre-post diastolic blood pressure was 86.77 (4,824) - 77.41 (5,884), while mental health elderly people obtained pre-post results of 20.08 (1.963) – 24.24 (1.982), with different test results obtained a p-value of 0.0001. The family care model's implementation for older people influences the health of the elderly, both physically and mentally

Background: Postoperative nausea and vomiting are prevalent issues among those who have had surgery. Inadequate prevention of these problems might result in heightened morbidity, extended duration in the postoperative recovery unit, and unforeseen hospitalisation

Assessment Prevalence of Thrombocytopenia in Chronic Hepatitis B and C

    Get PDF
Thrombocytopenia is a common complication in chronic liver disease characterized by a low platelet count, which is lower than the normal platelet count < 150 X10 9. The condition had variable incidence, regarding viral hepatitis and is more common in hepatitis C than B. Aim of the study: Assess the prevalence of thrombocytopenia (lower than normal platelet count) in patients proved to have hepatitis B and C by RNA testing. Cross sectional study included 50 viral hepatitis patients (HCV and HBV diagnosed previously), all patients were evaluated for complete blood count and liver function test. Males were forming 68% of all participant, 58% were HBV patients and 42% were HCV patients. The overall prevalence of Thrombocytopenia was 46%. The mean platelet level in HCV was177.43 ± 18.19 with higher prevalence of thrombocytopenia (60.9% vs 39.1%) in hepatitis C than B, with no association between gender and liver functions. Thrombocytopenia one of common complications in viral hepatitis, despite that both HCV and HBV had lower platelet count in comparison to normal person, the count is much more lower in HCV patients with higher prevalence of thrombocytopenia in compare to HBV that is more common in male gender
